  1. Yeah that was more of a general statement to the overall thread, I'm not exactly sure why I responded to you directly with it my bad.
  2. He didn't state anything he asked you a question and again you went for the vague doublespeak of your original response he quoted by saying it's good if some of our comrades choose not to fight you in this post while calling the exact same people cowards for letting other Oculus members fight you instead of us directly. So I'll quote him verbatim for you because you still haven't answered his question:
  3. The Pansy made the announcement, and last time I checked he's not a member of Pacifica... so we did do that, but still are getting flak for making the direct announcement of the DoW when in fact it was actually made by another member of Oculus.
  4. And what did pretty much every AA in the game tell us we had to do during Karma? They told us we had to change, and as has been mentioned earlier pretty much every one of our allies didn't want to defend us from that wave of hatred at the time. It took strong coersion from the Karma coalition to force most of our allies to defend us at the time, and even with TPF at the time it took the threat of mhawk leaving TPF to get them to step into the fray, So we've changed over time, it doesn't mean everyone has to like what we've become. We are the ebil NPO after all. I have always highly respected TPF, and I always will, I don't like the fact that we're facing each other now on the battlefield, and I think we could've definitely handled the CB a lot better than we did, but it doesn't change the fact that we're fighting it out now regardless.
  5. We settled our issues with them by knocking heads several times after that, I was just giving one instance of precedent.
  6. For some reason I remember DH preempting us because our allies wouldn't call us into their war for assistance to start the DH/NPO War, but that's just me pulling an example of precedent out of the cobwebs in the back of my head.
  7. That's what I've been trying to say, the last couple of pages. Thank you for clarifying it even more, although I don't think this will stop the people still trying to berate ODN for being "cowards" for not defending you or TPF... smh.
  8. I already told you your line of argument on this point was wrong in my earlier response to you, and now a member of MI6 has confirmed what I already told you. So now that members of MI6 and Oculus have told you this line of argument is wrong it would be a good time to recoginize that, learn from it, and drop it.
  9. To be fair you can say that about most AAs who have been around most of the game's history, at some point or other most AAs have fought in wars, or stayed out of wars which caused a PR hit for them in some way shape or form. So you're only really characterizing the majority of AAs in the game really. When AA's like TPF consistently defend their allies they're accused of only living in the shadows of their larger allies. When AAs decide to stay out of wars because they have friends on both sides of a conflict they're usually called cowards by one side or the other for not supporting them (usually the losing side). So I don't really see the point of trying to call out ODN for something that has been done since well before I ever started playing CN over seven years ago, and is a norm at this point in the game.
  10. Hey look we're the big bad ebil NPO again! TPF didn't exactly have issues with us being ebil pre-Karma when we were allies. Clearly TPF isn't at all responsible for the fact that they chose to align themselves with an AA Oculus was clearly gunning for, and subsequently has ended up in the war alongside MI6. Sure Pacifica chose to align with AAs TPF had issues with as well, but that's why we're no longer allies. Both TPF and Pacifica have had divergent FA paths for a very long time now, but only Pacifica's at fault for the situation we find ourselves in now? TPF hasn't really been on the same page with us in terms of FA really for almost 2-3 years now going back to when we signed treaties with NG and NSO, but clearly we're still the only ones culpable for being in this situation now... Come on I know you're smarter than that... We've been ebil for a lot of our existence and it's created dynamics in CN that actually made it a viable game for a lot of people, So as Branimir's already said multiple times bring on the controversy maybe that will shake CN out of the comatose state it has found itself in for a rather long time now.
  11. So Monsters Inc. declares war on Oculus then tells NPO they would have to call in their friends if they want help? How does that make any sense? You declared war on the entire bloc so if the rest of the bloc decides they want to fight you for the heck of it they can since you declared war on them and the bloc simply has to recognize your declaration.
  12. STA taking offense to the actions of Oculus as a bloc and then trying to single out a single entity within Oculus with the only reasoning being the actions of Oculus itself isn't crying for help it's STA attacking Oculus as a whole, hence the recognition of hostilities. STA can't determine one member of Oculus is more deserving of their attention than any other so they have to fight Oculus as a whole since their only justification is the actions of Oculus as a whole not NPO by itself.
  13. I would disagree with this assessment, while alliances shouldn't be soft in their approach to TE they should be mindful of who they're dealing with at the same time. This last spring I joined TE for the first time in a micro AA with some friends (I think there were 6 of us in the AA together). We were raided by one of the older larger AAs simply to get some XP from us and run away. While I was new to TE, I'm not a newb to this game since I've played SE for almost 7 years now. I thought them trying to run away with a peace offer was ridiculous so I told them we would fight it out for the round. What'd they do because I refused to play by their raiding terms? Not only did they fight out the round with me, but they redeclared on me within 24 hours of the prior round expiring. Since I had nothing vested in TE I just straight quit the game because it really wasn't worth my time to be bullied by people who thought they were God's gift to TE, and if anyone said otherwise they clearly would destroy them to the utter most. I quit TE because I was forced into eternal war because I wasn't willing to play on their terms. Now I came back this round because I heard from friends that those same AAs were throwing a hissy fit when my friends apparently broke a "gentlemen's agreement" which clearly was an utter joke considering my previous experience with TE. So now I've stuck around this round to make it clear to those who attempt horribly to claim any semblance of a moral high ground that they really have no principles to stand on, and that they were killing the game for new players well before we joined this round by forcing the eternal wars on smaller AAs when they refused to play by their terms. And I'm somebody who actually has almost seven years of experience in SE TE's a cakewalk compared to what I've been through in SE.
  14. As I said in all those threads about the NDO/D1/RE mess they set precedent for all of it by their own raiding policies well before we ever attacked NDO to begin with so for D1 and RE to try to claim the moral high ground and "right a wrong" was an utter fallacy. Now D1 and RE are perpetuating the same sort of antics by preempting another AA outside of the norms of the game which they allegedly were crusading against us for earlier in this round. So in essence we're exposing D1's and RE's hypocritical moralism for what it is and making them play as the utter beasts they are and pay the ultimate price for their two-faced style of play. And as I said in an earlier response, our war against them is in essence burying them in the grave they dug for themselves already.
  15. Of course we know that, but we aren't just talking about straight numbers, there's a reason why Terekohv showed that we have 64 of 70 nations active, not just our straight numbers. We're barely scratching the surface of the numbers we could bring in who would play actively with us, and those already here are fairly active as it is as shown by our 91.4% activity rate.
  16. More like the TE old timers throwing a massive tantrum over one DoW. We showed up here make a reasonable DoW, apparently in a time frame that wasn't acceptable which most of us weren't aware of and then everyone started crying about what we did. So we pointed out how the AAs crying about what we did (except for NDO) do the exact same thing, and worse and all they can do is whine and complain more. lol
  17. At least I've been very clear that NDO is separate from the issues I have in general you just ended up in the crossfire unfortunately. I have no issues with NDO it's just this instance with you has had to teach a lesson to the powers in TE of how to either not be hypocritical or behave civily across the board. To maintain policies which they now denounce in other aspects of the game is just hilarious.
  18. To be clear pointing out blatant hypocrisy and calling for real transparancy or change isn't "crying" or "whining" or anything else. At the time it happened I wasn't in a position to do anything about it, and now that the same people in power tried to claim the moral high ground on the exact same tactics they use themselves I pointed it out so it would be clearly noticed and not forgotten. As I said from the first time I brought it up they can either change their policies to reflect their claims at morality or they can play TE as the beasts they really are with no veneer of morality. I could care less either way. Good luck with whatever else you move onto and my response to you earlier here was to show you that we're not the ones who initiated such treatment of players in TE, and now you know how it felt when I experienced it before nothing more. It ruined that round for me and I quit, you're apparently done with TE for good for what is the same issue with a slightly different wrinkly and on claims at morality or the high ground or anything else. Edit: Spelling.
  19. When did I ever say they accepted peace? I said they came to a compromise which means they can actually talk in a civilized, intelligent manner and find a way to at least get some space to work out the issues. All you seem to be good at is thumping your chest and propagating fearmongering of an entity you have no clue about. I clearly was joking using your terminology to show that Caladin clearly isn't a "DeadOne" when clearly NDO can come to a compromise with him directly, unlike yourself being the barbaric hypocrite you are.
  20. If the people who were allegedly wronged in this mess, NDO, can work out a compromise with the "DeadOne" than surely the hypocrites should be able to get their mess together enough to get out of their own way... But apparently not...
  21. I'm not trolling NDO at all just pointing out how the condition RoadRash found himself in was not a creation of ours, it's nothing new in TE, I was a victim of it myself. We in fact offered peace to NDO a few days ago and nothing was worked out till late last night after this thread was started so to point the finger at us isn't exactly the right place to put the blame, NDO could've ended this days ago and hopefully TE's learned it's lesson when it comes to all of this mess.
