VABIC I've seen more interesting things come from smaller alliances than the larger ones. I also haven't been paying attention much. I've also been known to be biased.

Join alliance. Sit around and do nothing. Something happens, whine to alliance. First time they've heard of you all year, and they still defend you. Do tech deals to recover after the war. Do tech deals with Seaworthy Liberian Cardboard Boxes for maximum effect.

I want to be personally responsible for making a 14 year old cry. On a serious note, SLCBs goal is to spread the lulz and other such fun things. And boxes. Think of how many boxes are used by many a person. Very important service.

If the alliance he was originally in does not endorse his action (likely the reason the guy left in the first place), then he holds responsibility for abusing his authority or being stupid. So the offended alliance should pursue him. If he has already been accepted to an alliance (or protected under the alliance's app. AA), they should go to that alliance and demand the offending dude's blood. The second alliance harboring that nation would be saying they endorse his actions (making them an offending alliance), or if they don't, they'll give up the nation. Or pay reps in some way. Then there's GPA's story. Sort of like how ideal gas laws work out ideally, but never actually work in practice.

There's SLCB again, making announcements with no overall purpose. These people with their promotions don't even have actual authority in SLCB. There is no reason for us to know this, and is a waste of time like all other SLCB announcements. When will we you guys stop attention whoring and cluttering the forums?! No, we are actually quite depressed. I opened the box after decades of the whole "the cat might be alive or dead", and we found out that, in fact, the cat is dead. Huge scientific breakthrough, but still quite sad. Please don't torment us while we lament.

I think deja was using sarcasm in the sense of you should just look at the AA of who sent the message, and if the message came from your alliance or known ally, it is trustable, and if it obviously came from someone else (SLCB, iFOK, FCO, random homeless guy), just ignore it or reply with a "nou" kind of thing. But the general opinion is that many inactivish members cba to do that kind of thing, or remember what alliance they are in, and more likely than the latter, know their allies. Or, I've been up past my bedtime again and don't know what I'm talking about. Which isn't that rare.
