Pacifica has seemingly been neutered sense the Karma war, however that's not to say it isn't possible that they are simply playing nice until they can come out on top again.

Maybe if the big alliances weren't so rubbish, folks wouldn't be so inclined to make their own.
You said it all there.

Good point, but I think that many of us (the CN Community) consider building up their nations, then having them destroyed only to start over again, as part of the game, and as such, part of the fun. If you take away the risk of getting severely destroyed, then you take away the drive to make the best political, and in times of war, strategic combat moves, because the the consequences for doing otherwise are not really there anymore. For me, I would get bored quickly if war became less of a concern when it comes to making decisions that will have a long term effect on my nation, and my alliance.

Sounds to me like they care calling C&G a joke. Perhaps a double meaning there, as Joker is a Villain they may consider C&G a villain as well.
I guess it depends on who created it, and whether or not they are for, or against C&G.

You are doing a great job admin. To risk sounding blunt, screw whoever won't accept the game for how YOU created it. I agree with you, people need to take what they get. It's allot easier coming from those who just play, then it is those like yourself who have the responsibility of maintaining it.

People are building up the anticipation of something drastic happening so much, that when the time comes those people will actually end up being the ones to cause something to happen. For an example, if you convince a substantial amount of the populous that a catastrophic flood was about to hit their city in an allotted amount of time, by the time the deadline comes, all the panic and paranoia building up to it will cause a bunch of problems on it's own. The Y2K fiasco can serve as a good example as well, some areas ended up with looting, stealing, home invasions, and violence both related, and unrelated to the above mentioned, even though the new year passed on by without a problem.
