  1. "We have someone in mind. She is being flown in as we speak, actually."
  2. "I've got time. After all, I am the Emperor no? Besides, it'll be a nice break from those boring meetings."
  3. All hail our Dutchmen overlords! (i)FOK! o/
  4. "Well Doctor, I feel that I will give you a bit of...ahhhh...creative freedom, I believe it is called. I have a rather vague outline of what I would want my child to look like and be like. She must be clever, intelligent, wise, and more beautiful than any other on this planet. A number of medical precautions and the like have been prepared by my doctors so I am going to leave you scientist types to those. As far as outer appearance, she would have light skin--as Koreans do--though not light enough to be considered white. A bit tan but not too much. More or less, I would like her to appear distinctively Korean but even then, I do not have any qualms with eye color or hair color. Perhaps a gradient of blue and light gold for her hair and something to match with her eyes. As I said, you would have some creative freedom so these are just basic guide lines more or less."
  5. The public set a precedent with the Sumeragi submarine incident that even if something is incorrect as far as number, speed, etc. etc. (something about her sub being able to go some ridiculous number in speed or summart like that), those numbers are adjusted and the RP proceeds. They did the same against...VektorZero? I believe it was (or maybe it was Martens...I can't remember). This is what will happen in this situation. Martens/VZ will adjust whatever numbers they need to and the role play will continue from the last place that the war was at. So if Justinians forces were right outside Berlin, they are still there. If Martens/VZ's armies were right outside St. Petersburg, they are still there. (Just examples). /me waves magic GM wand.
  6. Keehyuk walked into the office of the Director following Leclerc. He wondered what kind of a hospital this was exactly. He had heard a number of interesting noises on the way up.
  7. Keehyuk was slightly surprised at the Chairman's greeting but he had nothing against it. He got into the car after waving his guardsmen down. There was no threat here. The warmth of the car was indeed comforting and Keehyuk was thankful for it. Sitting, he began talking to the Chairman as he felt his car move. "So, you probably have not heard, but I have no offspring whatsoever. I haven't had the time to settle down and have a kid and one of those damned secret operations left me with a low sperm count. The reason why I am here, except for old times sake, is to take you to use your knowledge of the Language of the Spiral and give me a child. A girl in fact. A girl that is more surpasses all in wisdom and in beauty. Let us call it a mad project I would like to call the "Eve" Project."
  8. "Will do." He pressed the red end button on his phone and stood up. "Ready my jet. We head to Ferinh in half an hour." His chamberlain bowed and scurried out of the room. Keehyuk grabbed a jacket and headed out himself. [OOC]/me whips out the GM Kitchen Timer Time Control Thingymajigger and sets it forward twelve hours.[/OOC] The jet bearing Korean Imperial colors touched down in Ferinh. As it came to a stop, a number of Imperial Guardsmen appeared out of the plane in various locations to ensure the safety of their sovereign. Keehyuk stepped out and felt the cold Canadian breeze. It was time to talk about some very tricky business.
  9. "I can hop on a jet and be over in Canada within half a day. Not much to do here except attend meeting after meeting."
  10. A number of individuals have already begun using this process. I cast my lot in favor of it.
  11. "Ah my good chairman. This is Emperor Kim from good ol' Korea. Have you been in good health? You have? Wonderful. Ah yes, the reconstruction is going very well. We cannot thank you enough for your assistance. From what I've heard, a number of communist organizations within the Empire grew after your generous aid. Haha, yes of course, of course. Is it still snowing over there in Canada? It is? My, don't we have a long winter this season. Yes, yes." The conversation continued on for a good few minutes more before Keehyuk got down to business. "So Chairman, I bet you are wondering why I called. In truth, I have heard that Canada has advanced very far in the Language of the Spiral. Yes, yes. I have a request and a bit of a challenge regarding that topic for your scientists. Is there any way we can meet in person and with those who know of the Spiral?"
  12. OOC: This is a RolePlay closed to only Lynneth and me. Sorry ladies and gents~. IC: Emperor Kim sat on his beloved sofa while resting from yet another day of tedious work. Another day of meeting after meeting about the future of Korea, restructuring cities, and rebuilding lives. Too much had happened. Hopefully, all of their hard work would not be in vain. Hopefully the generations to come would choose a new path to live--a path of understanding and of harmony. But until then, he had work to do. As much as he wanted to get away from it all (even though he had been "killed" multiple times), Keehyuk simply couldn't. At long last, he had resigned himself to his fate. However, the middle aged Emperor had something else on his mind as well. Through a number of his adventures and excursions, a foul mishap had resulted in him somehow having a very low sperm count. Too low to have any children. He had none. His "son"--Seho--was an adopted son whom Keehyuk had found in the rubble of Old Hansong during the War of the Houses. Perhaps he simply was destined to not have any children of his own. Or perhaps not. "Sire, I apologize for interrupting your rest but our agents have confirmed that Canada does indeed have the world's most advanced Spiral Research Program in the world. Their feats have been astonishing and their knowledge is to be feared." "Canada, eh? I haven't called ol' Leclerc in ages. I hope he hasn't forgotten me." "Sire?" "My phone please." "At once." His chamberlain scuttled over and handed Keehyuk his phone. It was a Samsung Victory--a model specially designed for him. It was more of like a Swiss Army Knife than a mobile phone but it did what it was supposed to very well. Almost lazily, Keehyuk called up Leclerc's number and clicked talk. Hopefully his friend hadn't changed his phone number.
  13. Some stuff 'bout Dutchmen taking over green here. Some stuff 'bout crazy drunk Dutchmen over there. Some stuff 'bout the puppets of Dutchmen signing a treaty yonder. o/
  14. I see two ex-Polars up on that list. POLAR TAKEOVER ITT?
  15. But remember comrade, we are just a puppet of the ever powerful overmind/etc. of FOK!
  16. We will have the last laugh yet. )): Congrats though.
  17. Comrade Brookbank, I welcome you back to the halls of CyberNations though certain people do not. It is good to see you again friend.
  18. DAngit Chicken. You one-upped me on nations. I'm on number 10 now. Also, congratulations you old fart.
  19. I've got a few choice words for this: "Hell, it's about time."
  20. However Frost, that gives us another problem. We're in 2009 and the US Navy estimates that they won't have the capability of putting a rail gun on a ship (well, one worth the cost, etc.) for some time (PopSci says 2016-2018) because they can't build a power supply small enough for it (or something like that). http://www.popsci.com/node/19016
