  1. They're both things only an !@#$%^& would do, though.
  2. A lot of those alliances tend to not have one. What will happen is someone will be on say, xx's ZI list or PZI list, and not on yy's list at all. One day that person will get off xx's list only to find out that yy has decide to put them on theirs. Why? Because they can and because they felt like it.
  3. I think he understood you loud and clear the first time.
  4. I think you're both reaching. Put the egos away. edited for grammar.
  5. because I want to have your children, obviously. I don't know why you're quoting me either, since you so obviously don't care about this whole mess. I guess you just had to tell me though, didn't you?
  6. In the end, people will say "it doesn't matter that you tricked us, we still like you", and not because they really do. They're afraid of all them nukes. If this were any other alliance, or atleast any other alliance that didn't have that many nukes, they'd be stomped out for deception. Alliances have been taken out for less.
  7. You're assuming that people automatically respected the treaties they signed. No one cared and this treaty meant nothing to those who signed it.. if OBR did something they didn't like, they'd have been stomped out for real. As Electron Sponge said, what saved them is that they never did anything to piss anyone off. Had they, then this wouldn't have mattered much. You assume there's honour left here on this planet.
  8. So when can we expect the nukes to start flying?
  9. So.. it's my responsibility YOU don't abuse the power that you hold? ... alright.
  10. This is a horrible, horrible decision! How could you let such a madman into power? He's going to kill us all! wait... lemme go check something *goes to check alliance affiliation* This is the best move EVER! Congratulations ikmark!
  11. I like the NPO a lot. Like, I REALLY like the NPO, but you're absolutely not helping your cause right now.
  12. You can't regret something that you're not willing to admit you did. Probably made transgressions? I'm not saying you've made any, and I'm not saying you haven't, but you can't be sorry about anything if you're not actually going to own up to anything.
  13. Without double standards there would be very little reason for war. It's the double standards that cause most every conflict, atleast every conflict since the UjW that I can think of (I could be wrong, I don't know.) The people at the top need something to make life interesting, so they bait, they set traps, they attempt to isolate and ostracize, and they go out of their way for a reason for war just so they can have one. They never want war though. What they want is for people to roll over and accept the thrashing they want to dish out, while taking as little damage to themselves as possible. That's why they isolate and ostracize, atleast. Anyway, how you doin?
  14. [ooc] the cinnamon dolce latte at starbucks is the best thing ever [/ooc] That's.. that's all I really wanted to say.
  15. The sharing of information is never a bad thing, whether you think you need it or not. In fact, I've been toying with the idea of writing a warguide just to share it here.
  16. I don't believe vindictiveness has anything to do with going rogue. A lot of the time it does though, but it should just be another act for a person, like collecting taxes or paying bills. There should be no more vindictiveness, or hatred involved than that. Going rogue as we've all stated, if it were to be done, would require someone who was calculating, and had the patience to see it through to the end. I think a person should revel in the destruction they cause, but not do it out of revenge.
  17. The reason I don't think people are quite getting what we're saying here is because there really has never been anything like it in CN before. Nuke rogues generally don't last longer than 20 days, but if someone had enough money and enough determination to last months, even a year or so if their warchest is high enough, then I think they'd understand. As aimee mann said, everything we've said is merely hypothetical, but really, why would it not work?
  18. Again, a sustained attack, over the course of months and months, will do more than just destroy infrastructure. If done properly, with propaganda and whatnot, you will demoralize the members of said alliance and they will waste time, money, and effort in trying to rebuild the lower nations, and they will lose members who don't want to get nuked to hell. Simple as that, really.
  19. The problem is that people think they have a permanent claim on anyone who joins their alliance. The role of the alliance is to make sure the members are taken care of, and if the members aren't taken care of, they're free to go. And, sometimes, people just want to go their own way to try their own thing. People don't like that though, and I don't know why, because where did all of these alliances start and get their members? Aside from FARK and FOK and NPO (the base, anyway), where did all these alliances start? They didn't spring up out of nowhere. This is just a case of people thinking their power goes beyond their own alliance borders, and they can posture and troll and intimidate as if their opinions even matter to TSO.
  20. People are going to speculate and make wild assumptions, and act like they know what's going on. Ignore them. Most of the people who are making these claims aren't worth your time.
  21. People leaving one alliance for another, en masse like this, points to serious internal problems with MCXA. What those problems are, I don't know and I don't care, but any energy here should be spent on addressing those problems and coming up with a solution so MCXA can bounce back stronger than ever, and NOT on being angry, spiteful, and childish. There are problems, that's fine. Address them, solve them, move on, be better for it. Why waste time and energy on hate?
