This is quite similar to NPO's guide: 1. Sign MDPs with 20 alliances 2. target an alliance at least a third of your size or one that hasn't even fought a war yet 3. Bully the target's allies 4. Take down the alliance with at least 10 other allies 5. Brag about your skills in combat on the forums. I'm not trying intentionally troll, I'm just pointing out that your post is quite ironic.

Not only that, but any little drama you create could always be the start of some new dividing issue between other alliances.

This is what I'm guessing as well. Something is in the air though, and don't be too shocked if things happen all of a sudden, though it may be a while. All you need is an open mind when reading the OWF and AP.

GW3 right at the beginning was probably the most exciting experience in my CN career. I remember the optimism with which we went into that war, with all the weight that the Legion, the former League and ally's that counter-attacked the intiative. I remember quadding a GGA nation, putting him in anarchy, and finding that he folded way too easily, almost did the same to another GGA right away. But then it was obvious after a few days that we did not have a hope of winning. Also, if I had kept my old nation, I would be almost 1000 days old.
