  1. HUGE congratulations to Dame Stella! That is fantastic news! Truly, she has been a fantastic asset to the Order of the Black Rose, and a great friend to the Order of the Paradox. I cannot think of an individual who I would be happier to see rising to the knights' council. Well done!
  2. FCC of course does have support from the rest of Citadel in this difficult time. As does Methrage. You've been a good friend to us all. Best of luck.
  3. I was kinda hoping we'd kick out 10 or so ghosts so it didn't look like we were adding nations.
  4. A unique thought occurs! Military: Aircastle. If anyone has bothered paying attention to them, they were smart enough to not even bother building past 8,500 infra, and have instead decided to focus entirely on nonstop tech importation and getting all military wonders (and, presumably, multi-billion dollar warchests). They are taking a path I think NpO has chosen also: eschewing an attempt to challenge folks for one given NS range (top tier) they instead have become a very potent force, especially for their size, in a different range. We're talking power per NS here, so really no one should be mentioning TOP. When you divide whatever power we project by our NS it drops to a point where we're definitely overshadowed by other folks. We can't be #1 in everything
  5. That'd pretty well confirm essenia's thoughts that his third update was in error. No way did we gain and then lose 26 nations in the last two months.
  6. That is true. I suppose you'd have to monitor aid slot usage directly to measure tech buying.
  7. One need look no farther than this page to determine how everyone is doing with tech buying.
  8. That would make somewhat more sense.
  9. I can't say this with certainty, but I'm thinking you must have made a typo and switched the numbers I bolded. That the number of nations over 60k dropped while numbers over 3k tech grew seems unlikely. I don't really understand why you wouldn't count Poseidon, though.
  10. Citadel: Liquid, definitely. CnG: Azaghul before he left; now probably Drai. FB: Penguin. SF: Delta, although I'm inclined to note that that's purely on basis of posting; my friendships with C-Zom and Crazyisraelie are definitely more meaningful than any others I can think of. They don't post here anywhere near as much as I'd like.
  11. You've already found two TOP members--both members of our voting council--who you've openly admitted have never maligned you nor your alliance. I think you may want to reconsider your opinion of us as a whole; just as alliances are not represented by their trolls, TOP is not represented by those who've expressed offensive opinions to you. We're represented by the people who we elect. Our leadership--the folks who you actually have to deal with--is respectful to you. I'm not going to tell my members how to think nor do I expect anyone else to do so. I don't really care if everyone blurs the line in terms of who they're angry at. What matters is that leaders maintain a cool head and think logically; when an alliance isn't really an enemy, a diplomatic outreach to them usually cures most of the real ailment, and as a result a lot of what's expressed here dies down. Membership can be calmed down, rifts between communities can be healed. But it takes a leader who wants that, instead of one who also takes part in these troll-fests.
  12. Like I said, you really shouldn't judge an alliance by its OWF presence. You should judge it by how they actually interact with you in a meaningful way. The folks who'd actually like to see us rolled--unlike those a bit put off by the attitudes some members display here--have long-held grievances with us. We talk to those folks about their issues with us. Those with an open mind have let the past go. I don't expect everyone to let things go. TOP gets trolled by a lot of people. Most of those people are in alliances that would rather not be our enemies. Do I hold it against them? No. Their membership has the freedom to express themselves however they wish. Ours has the same freedom.
  13. Congratulations Draden! You're a fantastic asset to MHA and I forsee very bright things in both your and MHA's future.
  14. Sorry to see our friends departing with one another, but I know the effort to maintain warm relations is real.
  15. That's definitely my conclusion. That it is fake, however, shouldn't be in question; Starcraftmazter has pretty well covered it. Why wF believed the guy, I cannot understand.
  16. I'm honestly amazed at all this. I feel like every alliance deals with a rogue or two who hides under another AA from time to time; I know there have been cases of someone masquerading as leadership of another alliance and sending ingame PMs. When that happens, I generally have a good laugh with the folks from the other alliance after we confirm it's not one of ours (or theirs). And that's that.
  17. Oh God, what will happen next?! Congratulations to our friends at Fark. Also, combo breaker.
  18. We're good. For the most part those who'd still like to see us rolled aren't about to change their minds, and those who do have an open mind have been approached long ago. If you're referring to conduct on this forum, all I can say is that the OWF is far from the centerpiece of any alliance's FA, and anything said here should not be taken particularly seriously.
  19. Congrats guys! And very well communicated. o/ Ordinance of Dutchies!
  20. The former half of Starfox's opening post reads as a very well-thought out self-expose. The second half reads as "Oh crap someone else is doing the same thing to others as I did to NPO!" This thread isn't going to change that fact. Everyone has haters.
