  1. Yes, I wish we could go back to when 90% of posts were hails, oneliners or tired memes. The GOONS were just about the only non-awful posters during that time and plenty of them weren't great shakes either.
  2. Improvement Slots Available 99. Would be 100+ if not for GRL.
  3. avernite is referring to something else (something far more impressive I might add). http://z15.invisionfree.com/Cyber_Nations/...c=35901&hl=
  4. Never happens in Umbrella. Then again, most of us (not me oops) tend to be wise enough to stay off these forums.
  5. It seems like you missed his point then.
  6. Did you forget already that the data is misrepresented in a nefarious attempt to downplay Citadel's strength?
  7. It's not a typo. Some background: I was making this thread two weeks ago and scrapped it because I couldn't explain the drop and it seemed weird. I decided to do it live make it today and the oddness remained; the error is probably in the figure from two months ago. Again, Poseidon doesn't seem like a very united bloc right now, so I lost interest in tracking them.
  8. If I didn't know better, I'd say you have some issues that make it difficult to count Poseidon as an individual bloc.
  9. Because once a month isn't that often I figured I'd make this a new thread. The older numbers are in () and this month's are in bold. The green bloc(s) in each group is/are the one(s) with the biggest percentage increase in members who fall under the listed category, red has the smallest increase/biggest decrease. 10. People forget that NPO which had committed to the ~ side never fully deployed. Also, in terms of NS, both GWII and GWIII were extremely close. WAEgis actually had more NS on its side.
  11. The idea of this thread is simple: who are your favorite posters on the forums and why. To try to get around bias a bit I'd recommend you choose a poster from each of the four major blocs. Citadel: Alpreb. He doesn't have much (any?) name recognition, but whenever is he posting he's posting he makes intelligent and judicious comments; he's been at it forever as well. CnG: Azaghul. Ok, he's technically not in MK anymore, but I can't overlook him. He always gives both sides of the issue a fair shake (except when NPO is involved, but NPO is almost always wrong so that doesn't matter much). He is both polite and unafraid to callout people or alliances for hypocrisy or wrongdoings (see: GATO). Frostbite: Fallen_Fool. His posts are always interesting to read; they offer substantive information on the topic at hand and tend to be unbiased with the exception of a few topics, even if those are topics where I disagree with him pretty strongly. SF: Delta1212. A lot of his posts are chaff, but he, more than almost anyone else, is a master of cutting through lengthy BS posting and knocking down flimsy arguments.
  12. It brings a tear to my heart to see Bilrow standing up for the oppressed and downtrodden. Through his entire career in CN he has latched on to the strongest thing he can find; maybe this is the start of a whole new man.
  13. I would agree that plenty of TOP OWF posters come off as arrogant, but I'd also say that many posters from other blocs come off as immature, aggressive and generally uncouth. Such is the nature of an internet forum.
  14. So if (hypothetically) surrender terms require an alliance to promise never to use EZI and viceroys, the alliance in the wrong is actually the alliance that imposes the terms? Thanks for clearing that up for me. Protecting the weak from thugs and bullies like you may require one to, yes, infringe on the sovereignty of said thugs and bullies. Shocking.
  15. You can do pretty much anything and it won't be as bad as what you did. The sad thing is, I'm not even saying that in jest. Have you forgotten everything you did or does it just not count now that you've been beaten down (it did work for NpO I guess, but they actually had a real culture change from what I've seen).
  16. It's implied; TOP does rule Planet Bob after all.
  17. The truth never gets old. Also, hail Dr dAntics, merciful overlord of TOP.
  18. No massive irony here, none at all. Also, I'm pleased to see that STA and Kronos were able to reach a peaceful solution. Always good to see cooler heads prevail.
  19. At times, we must always remember that there is a "higher law" that rules over us all that those who have reasonable moral fortitude should abide. No quarter should be given to scum, the only mistake made in the whole business is that the alliance is allowed to exist in a reformed version today.
  20. I always thought that period was horribly boring as the Initiative could crush whoever wanted to oppose it as a result of far superior coordination and generally greater military acumen. The lead up the UJW had much more tension and uncertainty involved. Citadel is far more unified than SF, probably not as unified as CnG though... none of which are as unified as Frostbite which is an extension of Polar at this point.
  21. To be fair, the current leadership of MCXA is awful. Hegemonic boot lickers aren't exactly much to be impressed with; incompetent ones to boot.
  22. Once again, NPO shows themselves to be Athens' best friend in the PR war. Just get out. The only people who care for your sniveling self-pity are the same sycophants who hailed your every move.
