  1. OOC: Bet anything RL-itis struck again. IC: I might go back and do an unofficial alliance score tabulation myself, based on the scoring system outlined on the FIFOB site, just so we have an idea where each alliance stands.
  2. If Snape has anything to say about it, it won't happen.
  3. Nation: Uralica Ruler: Jarkko Salomki Style: +4 Opponent Request: Random (I would, however, like to play a friendly against Transvaal one of these days )
  4. lol overdue alliance scores are overdue. Although IRON probably won anyway
  5. o/ TGR Looking forward to working with you guys.
  6. Za Sibir'! Again, congratulations on 2M. And keep up the Siberian Trophy reports. I lovez teh footie. Also hello Tyga.
  7. Wow, that was fast. Only two days in existence and already an upgrade! These guys must really be keepers! o/ /A\/A\ o/ Athens
  8. I've always considered you to be on my "when he posts, I take notice" list. Here's to another year, and I'm damn glad I have you as a leader of one of my alliance's allies I've always thought highly of Ragnarok, and you are one of the reasons.
  9. I think there are only four real contenders for that - Polar, TOOL, IRON, and NOAH. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if IRON won.
  10. WOW! Transvaal = CHAMPEENS! So when do we know who wins the Alliance title?
  11. /me gets popcorn Transvaal vs. Tritonia SYKTYVKAR - Uralican football fans would have had every excuse to give up on the FIFOB Alliance Cup after their heartbreaking loss to Transvaal in the semifinals. But that just wasn't going to happen. Instead, they are crowding around the television in droves to watch the team that defeated them, Transvaal, play against Tritonia, who were ranked first in FIFOB coming into the tournament. Although there is respect for Tritonia, most Uralicans would prefer to see Transvaal win. There are three major reasons for this - the mutual respect between the two nations' teams, the support of the Uralican football program from Transvaal, and the fact that the two nations' alliances, TOOL and IRON, are close allies. It is expected that the TOOL nation will erupt in celebration should Transvaal win.
  12. ZOMG PROMOTIONZ!! Looking forward to playing Primera football next season
  13. Boo... I have to wait one more day Ah well, might as well prep for my Liga Mundo match.
  14. Once again STA proves why I love them so much. Precisely. Such espionage is grievously dishonorable.
  15. Hope you guys get the forum back up soon. I don't know where I'd be without my football banter o/ WAPA
  16. ^Expected. Still, congratulations Crunchy for being the only Pacifican in the tournament and making it all the way to the semis. Transvaal vs. Tritonia. Tritonia vs. Transvaal. Tomorrow's going to be a day to remember
  17. I could live with the three suggested sub-forums. Since a lot of the RP is CNRP, the game-based stuff could go in the "Normal game-related RP," like sports, individual IG-nation RP, and what have you.
  18. I hope Crunchy Upon Nut knows what he's gotten himself into
  19. More wisdom from Xiph Also this treaty is awesome. o/ GOD o/ VE o/ OV
  20. Hey, FEAR and UCN like 'em. They musta done something right o/ UPN
  21. Uralica Loses in "Match Of The Tournament" It was a heartbreaker for Uralica, but in the end they also conceded defeat graciously as Achim Tsyplakov was beaten by Thurston Alderton in an epic 11-round penalty shootout against Transvaal, who now await the victor of the match between Pacifica's Crunchy Upon Nut and NOAH's Tritonia. "That was, by far, the most EPIC football match I've ever seen," said Uralikan Palloliitto president Attila Farkas. "Achim played very well under pressure and despite the loss, I think he ought to be pleased with himself. As the tenth seed coming into the tournament, we would have expected to lose by the Round of 16. The fact we made it two rounds further is a real testimony to how good these guys really are. And if we had to lose, I'm really glad it was to someone like Transvaal." The closest Uralica came to scoring in regulation was a Khavkuk Shlomov shot in the second half that hit the crossbar, but the chances were there for sure. It was exciting football, without the goals. After the match, there was much in the way of jersey-swapping. "I didn't put the jersey on because it was too tight," said 6'7" Uralican captain Jarkko Salomäki. "But I did manage to get Bert van der Meer's jersey. I think mine was a little big for him! Granted, there are some guys on Uralica's team who are bigger than your average footballer. Petteri[ Vahalahti]'s 6'4", Tapani[ Karjalainen]'s 6'4", Yev[geny Kudymov]'s 6'6", and so forth... Yeah, I'm a little gutted that we lost. We... were doing our best to put on a brave face after the last shootout goal. But if there's any consolation, it's knowing that one of the tournament's true class acts beat us. We didn't lose to someone who plays dirty or cheap football. I'll be rooting for Transvaal in the final. I think most of us will."
  22. Since ODK still has 30 members and nearly 800K NS left, don't be surprised if DE bumps GDA from the top 20 by the time the merger's over. It's gonna be close there.
