1.
Actually CCC was also on the BLEU side of WotC. (I think, I wasn't around then...)
I was, and I can verify this. We were supposed to go in defending GR and we got pre-empted. Then their failure of a then-MoD gave himself a panic attack from basically using every ounce of mental strength not to flip out on someone, felt like a complete jerk because of it after the fact, and decided to resign [OOC: and eventually leave CN entirely, although this departure only lasted three months.]. Best of luck to all the signatories, especially TFD, CCC, and Europa. It does kinda suck to see the bloc disband, but it also adds to Robertian political intrigue.
2. I can get behind this. Reason? I've had to do something similar to someone myself. Someone tried to do that to TOOL and FARK in the opening days of the Karma War. Hell, the case I dealt with ended up having sanctions brought in for forum espionage as well (against DT). iCarly2 In any case, trying to start a war between two or more alliances then going into peace mode to avoid the consequences is cowardice in the extreme. MK and my alliance may not get along much, but even we'd say they're absolutely in the right here. Also, what Kryievla said.
3.
Why thank you sir for you are too kind Still I owe you one for reminding me about the deadline. We'll have a team ready, hopefully not named Bayern Mostlich
If you named your team that, I would honestly pray Juve would get the same group so we could beat the tar out of you. Bayern
4. TOOL has a professional footballer (in CN terms anyway) on their team, remember.
5.
Do it. Do it now.
I pity da foo who doesn't listen to AirMe in this thread. For those who haven't entered yet, DO EET NAO!
6.
Needs more Uralica! Congrats guys.
D'aww Well, I suppose "Council of Light" counts, since I'm in it this month And y'know, I might actually run again for next month.
7. That is indeed a nice flag. You've been doing your vexillology homework. [OOC: It actually reminds me somewhat of the RL flag of Montenegro, although the shade of red is significantly darker in your flag.] Congrats to the two soldiers getting promoted, too. o/
8. Getting this together has been harder than I expected. Damn handegg fans in TOOL. I may have to start recruiting from TPF/IRON/FEAR/Brigade if this keeps up. EDIT: and as I was saying this, I was unaware that I got the remaining six players I needed. PM will come soon. EDIT 2: PM sent. 9. Good show. While TOOL is more stringent with its raiding policies, it does have in common with this that every raid has to be approved by Inquisition. o/ GOONS
10.
You really should translate that to russian.
In this case, Serbian > Russian. But English will do as well.
11. Heh, I was referring specifically to Locke, who is a Wiki mod.
12. One last hail for Unity o/ Also, this gov (EDIT: and charter) looks pretty awesome, although you might wanna keep an eye on The Stig. Stig Oh yeah, you forgot to mention how their other founder, greene475, up and went rogue on them after ragequitting. That didn't exactly help them either. As much as it sucks to lose a protectorate, we haven't lost friends. For all I know, we've gained new ones.
13.
guys guys, now we can all settle down.. and focus on who our REAL enemy is, GOONS (..meant only half-jokingly )
GOONS Except nippy, he da man. (Meant full-jokingly except the part about nippy. )
14. My currency is Canadians as well. Although in my RP, it's "Kanadalainen." Or in Uralican Finnish, "Kannalat."

Time Changes

I know the feeling. Although I would argue that you have had far greater relevance than I in this world, and most would likely agree, it is neat to look at another perspective coming from someone who has spent the same amount of time in CN but not always in the same place. I do indeed remember the time where NPO was around 1000 members, just after I joined CCC. Hell, I remember several times where CCC hit the 100-member mark. They've actually been pretty consistent at keeping close to that number in spite of the exodus of nations. Whereas many alliances are far smaller than they were at their apex. I mean, look at TOOL. We had around 350 before Karma. Granted around 50 of those were ghosts. What keeps me around is the RP opportunities. I don't give a rat's what people say about my Wiki section or newspaper blog. I like an immersive environment and am an actor and author at heart, and CN is my stage and my manuscript. I do agree, though. Watching friends depart for other realms is indeed saddening.
16.
You were never divorced... so it still stands. I also declare Elderon as TOOL's official person to blame for everything and to pick on.
That means after over a year and a half, it's no longer me!
17. Top Stories Salomäki: "I Made An Ass Of Myself" SYKTYVKAR - in a press conference today, Jarkko Salomäki publicly apologised for a snafu he made by appearing to take sides in the latest world conflict between the Sirius bloc and the AcTi alliance, as well as renaming the conflict article on the Robertian World News Network website, www.rwnn.org.bob, without an international consensus. "Yeah, I made an ass of myself," Jarkko said. "Vaido [Kuik] and Ovdey [shlomov] both gave me hell for it, I headdesked about half a dozen times, then I decided to apologise, say the criticism was fair dinkum, and move on." Vaido Kuik confirmed this statement. "I saw what he'd done and that [RWNN executive] Locke had changed it back, and I thought to myself, 'Jarkko, you clown!' So I got in my car and drove across Syktyvkar to his place, knocked on his door, and as I open it, there's Ovdey walking out. So I ask him what he was doing there, and he said he decided to set Dweebko (sic) straight on showing even the slightest support for either side in this ridiculous war, and that he must have headdesked at least four times. So in I go, and Jarkko asks me, 'lemme guess, you didn't like that I wrote something that could be construed as showing support?' and I'm like, 'No, I just got whined at by Locke about you changing the name of a war without consensus.' Which of course was exaggerating, but he knows I do that. So he groaned loudly and headdesked yet again, whining that it just wasn't his day. Now here he is, apologising for it, not really out of compulsion. I think he felt pretty bad about the whole thing." War Protest In Kirov KIROV - a peaceful rally against the current war, which organiser Jarmo Eerikäinen said was not necessarily against one side or the other, started last night, not long after Jarkko Salomäki publicly apologised for a few diplomatic faux pas he had made. The highlights of the rally included approved covers of three songs: Pelastus covered Fear Factory's "Hi-Tech Hate," Bane of the Machine (sans Salomäki, who was replaced by Jeff Laukkanen) and Mowdown teamed up to cover Genesis' ten-minute epic "Domino," and Digitoxicosis covered Front Line Assembly track "Millennium." Along with these, Pelastus cranked out their single "The HateKilla." Enemy's Enemy brought a Jewish angle to it with their single, "All Will Burn." Sports ZavU Stuns SiPS, CSKVC Puts One Nail In Three Coffins On a wacky day in the Bolakliiga, SiPS' 34-game unbeaten streak was shattered by a late Fedor Poustovoitov goal as Zavod Ural Solikamsk won 2-1. Ruslan Zakharchuk scored the other goal for the winners, while league goal-scoring leader Joni Rasimus scored the lone goal for the losers. "We wanted to win them all," said manager Teppo Kostamo, "but you know what? We realise we can't. We weren't playing our best, and they most certainly were. Don't blame it all on Jarkko [salomäki] being off doing political stuff. Our defence is deep enough that we should have been able to handle them, but our offence wasn't up to snuff other than Joni and Hessu [Öörni, the team's assist leader this season]. They won. We lost. Fair play. We'll have to regroup and do better next match. All there is to it." Their next match, on the 13th, is against MetaFraks Gubakha. There were several other "upsets" on the 6th. Most notable from a table point of view was 17th-place CSKVC Kirov's 2-1 win over 13th-place Metafraks Gubakha, which simultaneously doomed FK Syktyvkar, FK Kirov, and FK Kotlas to relegation. FK Inta stunned last year's 8th-place side, Spartak Ukhta, by the same, while FK Vorkuta surprised Transit Sosnogorsk 3-2 in a comedy of errors.
18. Talk about madness I'm glad I chose my words carefully. "Not much of a problem" doesn't necessarily mean "no problem at all." I did find the ZI of Bat puzzling, for reasons I've already stated. That said, having reassessed the situation (which I should've done in the first place instead of AGAIN letting sentiment cloud my judgement) I'm not sure what to make of this war. Blah. I'll just stick to Wikiing the hard facts and call the controversies just that. I've already made an ass of myself. Jarkko
19.
i don't really care all that much. i am glad my allies are having fun trashing Battalion, though i do hope that most of AcTi is allowed to go free without reps because Battalion was egotistical.
http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=94401 < with any luck, AcTi members will go through with these terms. They'd be preferable to having to fork over.
20. No aid? Bummer. I was gonna help Alex rebuild. Ah well. I guess that can wait. Otherwise, I don't have much of a problem, even though ZIing Batallion might not do anything in the long run except leave him more miffed than he already is. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
21. The "Sirius-AcTi War" name was given by me as a temporary name until we came up with something better. I like "Bat's Siriusly Bad Day" myself. EDIT: Renamed on the Wiki.
22.
Alex(numbers) of Frank Empire already had plans to leave with me, however he has gone AWOL I have already negotiated his release from wars to be paid by myself, also for CapitalstOverlord of The Antarctic Lands. OOC: Alex is former TOOL/VE, and RL friend. Cap is RL friend, new to CN.
Herein lies the reason for my concern. He was a damn good former TOOL member. He was a lieutenant in our military when I was Inquisitor. Aren't the numbers 960531?
