1. It's not that we don;t trust them. But word gets around accidentally. It's like we still trust our members despite not telling them about it. We don't assume they would deliberately tell others, but things slip. The less people that know about something the easier it is to keep secret. And as for giving them time to prepare, would two days more preparation have made that much difference? The thing they were missing were military wonders, which you can't get in 2 days.
2. No.. I said we didn't notify because we were keeping it secret that we were entering. We didn't tell our whole membership until on the day that we were going to war. Add the fact that we didn't know exactly who we would be declaring on or how involved we would be up until two days before and you have a decent reason for not telling them. I added the agression clause arguement because if we had one we would have to tell them as they could be directly involved at the start and therefore we would need to tell them. With only a defensive clause they would not be involved for a day at the very minimum (turned out to be 5 days) so by not telling them we were mainting the secrecy in the declaration of war and still give them some notice that they may be required to enter the war. It's not ideal but if you want to attack somebody without the whole world knowing about it, certain measures need to be taken.
3. Ok.. I'm not that bothered you surrendered after only 4 days of war but... you're blaming us for not knowing what treaty was signed? How the hell is it our fault you didn't read a damn treaty? You also lecture us about lack of communication but we have always had some people in your IRC channel while you have made approximately 0 attempts to contact us about anything. And as far as not letting you know we were going to war.. it was kept in secret, not even our members knew exactly what we were doing until a day before it happenned. If we had an agression clause as well we would have notified you as it would havew directly involved you.. but we didnt have one so we didnt tell you. Once we were at war though we INSTANTLY told you that you may be required to enter in future. So if you think we're acting dishonourably because we actually expected you to follow through with a treaty.. then I guess we're guilty. Congrats on peace though.
4. I've never been mentioned so much on a thread. I feel special (ib4: you wasnt mentioned before because you're irellevant lolol) Look. TOP specifically asked about this before making their decision to go in. They acted on the false assumption that NpO would stick to their word. Ok, NpO are omly honouring their treaties.. yay for them, but if they are so honourable and treary abiding.. why did they not do this in the first place or at the very minimum not guarantee TOP they wouldnt be attacked. That way nobody would have minded NpO following up on their treaty, but instead it looks like the greatest act of betrayal.
5.
Ignoring the rest of that, Polar certainly never said the bolded bit.
So you pick out 3 words thrown in for comic effect and ignore the rest of it? Awesome.
6. TOP: You won't attack us if we help you right? NpO: Of course not! 2 days later NpO: We surrender lol. Bye TOP. 3 days later NpO: Just kidding.. we look bad for quitting.. we'll save you! 3 days later NpO: Holy bananas batman.. we aren't on the winning side of this war? Quick.. lets bandwagon on TOP, that way the other people attacking them will still like us
7. I hope everybody appreciates the irony of what I'm about to say being from Echelon and all. But this is seriously the most retarded declaration and lack of honour I've seen in.. ever?
8. Yes I know how it works/why they did it. I'm not an idiot. I just don;t agree with it in the slightest. Activating an agression clause when FARK showed about as much agression as GPA do when somebody eats their last cookie
9. Classy Fark. Decalre war on us.. don't evenactually attack us ONCE and then send in somebody else to do the work for you :/ Will be fun fighting you FOK. MHA were too easy (Assuming you do actually fight us unlike FARK)
10.
You declared for no other reason that what I can only surmise as jealousy and fear. That's right, the mighty TOP was scared and here I've been told for a long time you were supposed badasses.
Im sorry... but how did you jumpo from them starting an offensive war.. to them being scared?

13. Heres a ncie quote from the awesome astronauht Jones regarding the Caffine peace term.
through massive amounts of cowardice and opportunism, do they say "hey, we're not cool with that!" Cowards, every last one of them. Pathetic little cowards.
Yes.. you caught us. We changed the term now because we are too scared to go to war :/
14.
So you're saying you're not cowards for this action, because an action you took months ago just so happens to have not been cowardly?
Nope, I said we aren't cowards in general, using the war as an example.
You're all cowards if you had wished to rid yourself of this term but did not do so until now, for fear of retribution. The timing is cowardly, the action is cowardly given the circumstance.
[sarcasm]Yes, because GOD and all of the other alliances that imposed the term are being completely destroyed in the war and can't spare any nations to attack lil' old echelon.[/sarcasm]
15. Wait.. how is it that we are cowards? Making the most of an opportunity.. on cybernations? How dare we. But yes.. you're right, we're so cowardly.. I mean it's not like we got that term in the first place by declaring war on about 14 alliances in defence of an ally is it. No wait... it was.
16. Probably as we had been at war for the last *insert how many months here* with *insert however many alliances here* and needed to get out of it. Add the fact that caffine was no longer a member at the time.. it wasn't really a big deal.
17. Firstly, I would like to thank Caffine for bringing an issue that should be either sorted privately or forgotten to the forefront of public attention. Secondly, I would like to thank the usual "OMG Echelon suk lol" crowd for their usual performance. Seriously, this happenned how long ago now? We have a completely different set of leaders, so why hold this against us? Yes Echelon made a mistake. Yes Echelon has paid for it (Karma war). We aren't asking for everybody to suddenly just be best friends with us again, just stop holding one single.. solitary mistake against us. Thanks
18. you should know what it does.
