Night one It is snowing. I guess I should have expected this really. Today has started quite well, we all actually arrived for the expedition on time which is quite shocking in all honesty. Nothing really of notice to mention for the actual trip, but there was a slight problem with the packing it turns out. One of the less intelligent members of the community forgot their tent they were meant to bring so instead was forced to resort to using an igloo...and I have to question the usefulness of it. Turns out they were an illegal immigrant from the nation of Top Gear. Hopefully they are still alive come tomorrow, and that tomorrow goes that bit better. Night two It has been snowing again, all day. Turns out the illegal immigrant died...we are not completely sure what happened to him, but judging from the loud screams last night and the severed arm left in the collapsed igloo I guess that it was a wild animal. Most likely a penguin, they are a real menace and must be controlled. We covered a lot of ground despite the loss of one of the expedition team and stopped at a McDonalds for a quick break at about 2PM, it is true what they say. You really can find one anywhere in the world, even in an undeveloped area in the Antarctic. It did make a good change to fish, I do have to admit. Fish might be good for you, but dam it is boring. Here is hoping day three is more fun. Day three We are under attack! I repeat, we are under attack. Our reconnaissance noticed a small scout team as pictured below. After receiving this information I gave order to fire at the target, this would be my first mistake as leader. It turned out that the penguins had allied with the Polar bears and have been attacking us relentlessly, we initially took high losses, but now we are more organised and fortified we are holding them off effectively. The enemy I will bring an update once this conflict is over. Night three We have fought them off and now have a time to relax. We are down by another 12 people...but the bravery displayed by these men and women at my side today is just a testament to how great this nation really is. We have a sentry patrolling the camp at all times, but for me it is time for some well deserved rest. Tomorrow should be the last day. Day four It is over, we have reached the edge of where our country will be expanding to. The other expedition teams have reached their targets and it is agreed that we should expand our nation to these new boundaries. This new part of our wonderful country shall be named "Anotherworld". Building may now commence in this new area, I hope all that choose to relocate here find the future to be a favourable one. OOC: Feedback would be nice, as I am new to this. Yes I realise this is a bit unrealistic...is a one off and wanted a bit of fun

Day zero The expedition to expand this great country Westwards is just about ready. As leader of this great nation I will be at the forefront of the expedition team despite the dangers of it. While there are no hostile forces in the area, there is still the all to real danger of the cold, collapsing ice, avalanches, penguin attacks and polar bears as well I guess. This new land should provide economic benefits as well as being the first step to uniting the Antarctic into one force. For a start it will give us a larger supply of snow, which is always useful for supplying our ice cream factories with supplies. But the main aim is still the unification of the Antarctic. Just making sure I have all the supplies as this could take over a week and well, who would want to go over a week without alcohol. I guess warm clothes and food are also important. So, now I leave on the expedition. I will be carrying this camera around for the duration of the expedition to record all the moments of it. Wish me luck.

Any claims outside of your sphere after your first claim must be roleplayed out and accepted by the general community. Really does imply you can claim land outside your SoI

Reporter: Ryan, the leader of Otherworld is scheduled to be making a live appearance to deliver a speech to clear up some issues about his nations aims, and here he is now. "Hello Ladies and Gentleman, and welcome to the announcement of our fine nations foreign policy. Foreign policy is a key aspect of any government, as it shapes how the world views a country and as a result of this it determines if a nation is to rise to the top, stay in mediocrity or is crushed. For this nation of Otherworld, the only option is to rise to greatness, and these are our aims to achieve this. We wish to unite the Antarctic continent. For too long it has been shunned and called worthless. Once united as one nation, or as a bloc it's true potential will be realised. We will use treaties and diplomacy to reach this target where possible, but be under no illusion. War is a very distinct possibility for us. Due to this goal, the nation of Otherworld is expanding Westward to fill the gap between our glorious nation and the GNR protectorate. This is a relatively simple task for us due to our extremely high population density and military force which could easily fill and secure the area. As a nation of relatively large size is built in a matter of minutes, with fully functional cities, nuclear weapons, stadiums, navy, nuclear weapons...well, you get the picture. I, Ryan R declare Otherworld now officially...open? For the sake of propaganda I have faked an interview for you. I now present to you the flag of "Otherworld" Although the text on the flag implies we will try and take over the world, this is simply not true. We are a peaceful nation, that just wants to build up its weapon stockpile in peace.
