  1. Gopher I never claimed we were best friends, I stated that both our alliances were moving past previous issues. In fact, I specifically pointed out our independence from one another. We have little to no contact with MCXA (to my knowledge). Our paths seldom converge. Previous issues are brought up by uninvolved parties or by you. If MCXA continues to have issues with TSO, I would recommend that you contact a TSO gov official. Thanks.
  2. It is difficult to discern your valid complaints from your mindless whining. However, you seem to take issue with our payment to MCXA, as if we were throwing money at a problem. Not true. We agreed to give a some of money in order to get us past certain issues and move on to a profitable and independent future. Though we have moved on, and MCXA has moved on, you apparently have not. Luckily, you're irrelevant. kthxbai
  3. I would personally like to thank a few people: 1. DW for making this happen 2. SCY for faithfully tracking tech deals and spamming our forums 3. Bob for being our biggest fan
  4. I don't understand why an alliance would want to be sanctioned. EDIT: them durn speling arrers
  5. Question - does the train use combustible methods of propulsion, or is it environmentally friendly? Congrats!
  6. Eden, that would not be retirement. That would be a typical Tuesday afternoon. I'm sure the new government will correct such displays of crass decadence.
  7. I believe the fresh names you see on this list of government personnel shows 2 things: Depth of Talent. TSO has some of the most experienced, talented, and capable leaders on Planet Bob. We do not depend on the efforts or knowledge of just one or two people. Instead, we all depend on one another. Dynamic Leadership Rotation. With new leadership comes new styles, new ideas, and new methods. Over the past few months, the Oblivion has replaced all three original commanders. While this would be traumatic for some alliances, I believe this has made us stronger. A rotation of new leaders keeps leadership active and relevant.
  8. This is great news from a wonderful, brave alliance. Congratulations, my friends!
  9. Accusing Sam of spinning is interesting considering you have spewed nothing but propaganda and pursued old grudges throughout this thread, instead of offering real, tangible criticisms of his (apparently) overrated leadership abilities.
  10. I questioned the objectivity of the evaluation, not the timing. It all sounded like more of a smear to me. Sam certainly has his weaknesses (e.g. - bratwurst), but those weaknesses are not really the focus of the criticism voiced here. Instead, the voices of criticism speak from past bitterness.
  11. Good to see that this thread has remained apolitical. I'm sure Sam's critics are objectively evaluating his leadership skills and are not picking old bones.
  12. I'm going to cast my lot with Lusitan from TFD. Great diplomat, great at finance, game mechanics ... everything. Very underrated. Also, I'll give a special shout to one of our Commanders at TSO - Sleepib. Most people have never heard of him. But, when it comes to in game elements (war, finance, etc) there is nobody better.
  13. Which part of us is overrated? If we're a personality cult, then why did Jose just coup Sam? mas tequila!
  14. Awesome. This is one fine alliance, from head to toe. Except LJ.
  15. Thank you for your reply. However, I found your response to be less than helpful in answering my question. Is this, essentially, a sequel to previous endeavors? It looks to me like the same leadership and the same allies. On the other hand, I fully respect your right not to address my question. Best of luck in your future.
  16. Hi. I was wondering how this alliance is any different than ACV (other than the theme). If it is, essentially, no different, then what are some of the ways that the Corporation will avoid the same mistakes of its predecessor?
  17. Then, what does this mean: Really? Because between what Iggy wrote and the 2 Billion dollars we're paying to MCXA, I think we have a good idea of what your alliance went through. I think I have trouble explaining this to you because in your warped ethical perspective spying on an alliance and later helping to pound that alliance means you are actually helping them.
  18. It is linked on our wiki - http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=50518 Well, then it MUST be true.
  19. I admit, I loled. In the OP, NC simply communicated from an insider's perspective what most mere observers already knew - Fran happily swims in the cesspool of political drama. Consequently, she is often an instigator of such drama. It also causes erratic philosophical shifts - Voxian at one moment, Francoist at another. Hopefully NC's story is one that will remind people to not feed such untrustworthy instigators.
  20. Tough to cancel a treaty, but I actually had thought that this treaty was canceled before. That is how distant the alliances actually are from one another. Best of luck to my friends at both alliances.
  21. Hail to the Order! You remain a beacon shining over the Pacific.
