VE is a great one though. Like a previous poster said, find an alliance that you fit with. Read the threads, note the ones that you are interested in and then go to their IRC channels to get a better feel of what their members are like and if you'd enjoy it there.

Disregarding someone else's opinion with a statement clearly presented as fact strongly suggests that you recognize the difference between opinions and facts. Facts, by definition, are simply true and hold objective reality. Your statement included no qualifiers or conditions hinting that you viewed it otherwise. Having learned that it was your opinion, enjoy. I'm sure you can be called the exfoliators of CN...in some sense which I don't currently realize.

How do you feel about BMv2 leaving to form his new alliance? How do you feel about him being raided and his subsequent thread concerning such raiding?

Just out of curiosity, if a new alliance who had already formed on an AA but hadn't DoE'd came to GOONS asking for a protectorate, would GOONS protect them or raid them? This isn't a shot at anybody, I just think I'd lol either way.
