2. So... What's your backstory? Believe it or not, TSO takes recruits Forums: www.tsohq.net IRC: #tso
3. Sent you a couple messages in game and a tech deal to help you bring in some cash. Put in some work if you expect anything back in return though, CN is not the game for handouts and I'm being more than friendly here. But yea, take it or leave it...
4. Find a larger alliance you can team up with that will protect you during your early stages of being a new alliance. If you don't, your alliance will leave itself open for Tech raids. Tech raids are where nations attack you for the sole purpose of stealing your technology (likened to a bully stealing your lunch money). Feel free to stop by TSO's forums and introduce yourself and setup an embassy (www.tsohq.net), and message me in game if you have any questions. Welcome to Cybernations & good luck to your new alliance!
5. Admin should get with the times and just make an app (apparently someone mentioned that the admin has said before this will not happen). Aside from the limited nature of the game, without expansion the game will die. Maybe the admin just doesn't care about that fact though.
6. Congrats guys, seems like only yesterday I was buying tech from some of you! (I swear I mean that in a good way)
7. I'm going to make this short and sweet: Create a smart phone app for CyberNations. That's a huge untapped market for new players.
8. Have you ever thought to ask the nation in question?
9.
Maybe branching out into the mobile game market (iphone/android apps for instance)
THIS! CyberNations App on Android would be awesome! Given the (relative) simplicity of the game I cannot believe this hasn't been done yet.
10.
Haha. During Bi-polar, an ODN guy was feeding me uranium while I nuked his alliance and bloc mates lol.
If I were in that scenario, I would definitely have cancelled, just because it would have a very negative effect on you... Though with the new ability to change resources it wouldn't be much of a pain to resolve. That is hilarious though.
11.
Given how negotiations went, I am pretty confident in saying white peace was never an option and the amount of reparations was never tied to our nations in peace mode.
Yea I think you're correct in both of those statements, and like I said I wasn't a part of them(peace talks), and it was just my own personal speculations.
12.
to be fair, very few people ever have issues with the war itself... ya, getting ganged up on sucks, but you get over it pretty quickly and it can be fun even if you're on the losing end. it's having to pay reps that usually leaves a bad taste in one's mouth (obviously for the loser, many times the observers, and sometimes even people on the winning side) which is why this set of terms is so ridiculous. asking everyone to "move on" while simultaneously demanding 75% of someone's tech is just retarded.
Not to stir the pot anymore than it is BUT here's my observations. Paying reps leaves a bad taste in anyones mouth. Just part of politics though, you don't want to pay them? Be on the winning side, get in a neutral alliance and don't roll the dice in a war, or go POW early. I think these reps are very fair (though I'm probably biased on that comment). Had most of NpO's upper tier not been in PM through the majority of the war, maybe reps might have been less (or dare I say it, the outcome may have been different). (STRICT speculation here on my part, I wasn't involved in peace talks). NpO could have bit the bullet and initiated peace talks sooner and ended the conflict a month ago, instead the war was drawn out to what it was. IMHO, you draw a war out while you have a good % of your alliance in PM, you're going to get nailed with SOME SORT of reps. I should probably re-iterate, these are MY opinions/observations and are not that of TSO as a whole. Also, I'm all for burying the hatchet but let's face it, this is Planet Bob, grudges will be held by someone somewhere.
13.
Just got this from an NpO member I've been trading with for ~3 years Guess some people aren't ready to give up the grudge
That's hilarious. I've been trading with someone from MCXA since before the war, and we both stuck through it even though we were on different sides(albeit far removed from being in combat).
14. o/ Oblivion Here's to three years and many more to come!
15. Been busy and haven't had a chance to comment on this but Hooray for peace! o/ TSO o/ IRON o/ Valhalla o/ TOP Was an honor to fight with such dedicated warriors! For the few NpO nations that were actually fighting in my range, well met!
And so it ends. It was a pleasure to fight alongside Valhalla, IRON and TSO again. All hail the Four Horsemen! Many thanks to the rest of our coalition partners as well.
I love the sound of that!
16. Congrats on the treaty Legacy & NSO!
17. I say Vegas around May 6-9th... Only because I'll already be out there lol.
18. *Insert additional comment deriding ARES here*
19. Shout out to my Allies in TOP, and pre-emptive shout out to any future foes I may have during this war.
20. It seems Lord Hoth's army has all but deserted him and it's just him sitting in his dilapidated fort launching nukes. The longer your alliance sits and turtles, the harsher I'll recommend the reps to be. Either put up a fight or throw down your weapons.
21. Pitiful performance on the battlefield as of late gents. Why don't ya'll save what's left of your nations and begin to negotiate the terms of your surrender.
22. Who you callin buddy, pal? I'm not your pal, friend!
