  1. I'm at 30k nation strength and I only have 3 out of 5 stars. I have Uranium/nukes though. Try dismissing a couple hundred soldiers, it might help. I believe your environment goes down when you approach the soldier limit and your citizens definitely become unhappy when you're very close to or at the limit. Monarchy is better than Republic, by the way. Unless your citizens want a Republic.
  2. I think that would be seriously overpowered though.
  3. http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Population_density I never knew about this. Do you guys think the environment boost would be worth purchasing (Not stealing) extra land for? I have my doubts, but I thought I'd ask. Obviously it would be nice if you had that much land, but most (peaceful) nations don't. Also: Has this been confirmed?
  4. I never swapped labor camps, because I don't like how vulnerable it leaves you. You just know there's some random newbie that'll declare war on you because you're "inactive". Even if you're in an alliance that helps you it's still annoying, especially if you're anarchied. No no, labor camp swapping is not for me. My nation is like Chuck Norris.. It never sleeps.
  5. I never get random trade offers. Well, I think I got one trade offer like 7-8 months ago.
  6. I think it might be because you're trying to dismiss too many soldiers at the same time. I vaguely recall something about such a rule existing. But I could be wrong.
  7. The most I've ever killed is 11k or so. I did wipe out 5k tanks in a single attack once. I only had a 10% chance to win that attack and I won.
  8. All right. It doesn't make much sense to me, but thanks.
  9. I have a quick question.. Will your NS increase if your soldier efficiency increases? Or only if the actual amount of soldiers increases?
  10. Maybe it's just me, but I think you will lose money if you start labor camp swapping at your size. Unless you have a cycle of 10+ days or so, which is a lot of trouble to go through. Remember, 5 labor camps cost $750k to buy every time. With a 3-day cycle I'm sure you would lose money. EDIT: And I'm not factoring in the cost of the other improvements you may want to buy after destroying 5 labor camps every time.
  11. Can you select the power option when you own nukes? And, if you can, would your nuke bill still be cut in half because you have uranium?
  12. I've seen nations gain thousands of NS on their first day. Nothing special.
  13. I've always wondered.. Do you still get the income boost if you switch your government position to: We will never sign such a treaty. Doing so would endanger our people. Our nation promotes the use and build up of nuclear weapons? If not, then can you change your position back to the income-boosting one after you've finished buying nukes?
  14. He's already being destroyed by CON, so.. problem solved?
  15. Actually, this isn't true. You can still steal land, tech and money when your target is in anarchy.
  16. I have Coal/rubber, which are both part of the industrial resource set. I guess I'm not SOL like some people but I do have to pay for trades.
  17. Is it against the rules to declare war and perform ground attacks against a fellow alliance member for testing purposes (Not war slot filling, I'm talking about times of peace)?
  18. Am I the only one that doesn't know what change you guys are talking about? I checked the update log, but I can't find any details.
  19. I never get trade spam. I always have to spam 20+ nations for trades with a money bribe and I'll be lucky if one of them even replies.
  20. Soo.. Does anyone know if you have to pay upkeep for spies, and how much?
  21. According to a guide I read on the old forum the ideal industrial setup includes Sugar.
  22. It also depends on your starting resources. The industrial set is the best set for me, because I started out with coal/rubber. I'd have to remove 2 resources from the agricultural set to get it, which would suck.
  23. All right, thanks for the info. EDIT: I have another question. Let's say my anarchy ends on the 18th and I have never received a defeat alert. Would I be able to change my government type to something normal after my soldier count drops to well below 20% of my citizen count on the 18th (Still without receiving a defeat alert)? Or would the clock also reset in this situation?
  24. I've heard that, if you have no standing army and receive a defeat alert, you will not be able to get out of anarchy. How does this work? Let's say I will be able to change my government type from anarchy to something else on the 18th. Suddendly, I receive a defeat alert today. Will the date at which I can change my government type move to the 19th? And will it keep getting moved if I receive a defeat alert every day?
  25. I have to agree that it is horribly balanced. - $150k to change the other guy's desired government? All that would do is suddendly make the other person lose 1 happiness. I seriously doubt people will use it. - The same goes for changing the other person's religion. It's just -1 happiness. There are probably better ways to spend $150k as well as the spy slot. - Changing the defcon level could actually be really useful. I have to say that this one is far too cheap, because its effects can be devastating in an update blitz. - Destroy a max. of 50 defending tanks for $200k? Not worth it. - Destroying cruise missiles could be useful, I suppose. This one is actually pretty useful and not too expensive / cheap. - Destroying 1 nuke for 200k? I think this one is actually too cheap. - Killing a max. of 20 enemy spies.. Hmm.. Dunno how useful it will be. - Ehh, it costs $300k to destroy $1 mil? This one seems a bit overpowered compared to the other ones. - $350k and a spy slot just to destroy 10 infra? Not worth it imo. - Destroying 5 tech has got to be the most useless one on the list. 5 tech is pretty much irrelevant to anyone that has enough cash to afford spies. - $500k to steal 3 tech? We all know no one is ever going to use that. Way too expensive.
