I don't see GATO

A very good read, though it was bias in dealings with alliances that have been fundamentally against the NPO. I believe it suggests that GATO is the spawn of irrational thought in CN, which I'd vehemently disagree with. Treated throughout the essay as somewhat of a “lesser” alliance intellectually and mentioned but only a few times, though one of the most influential in Cybernations. I would argue that GATO learned quickly the ways of the trade, I am aware that you mentioned GATO shaped (well CATO) the foundations of alliances, but that is different than the foreign aspect which you simply discarded as nonsense of some sort. The Global Alliance isn’t naïve; I don’t believe it remained as naïve for an extended period of time as portrayed in the essay. We do still exist with a strong elder core membership and one that remains fairly intellectually inclined, while new blood is always welcome to join in on the colorful history that makes up the alliance. Otherwise it is always fun to read propaganda postings, it is what keeps the civilized CN world turning, and shielded from the nonsense that is FAN, GOONesque and the like.

Foreign affairs was really an interesting experience in GATO post-GWIII, the stigma of GATO was so strong and undoubtedly fueled by NPO that it made it nearly impossible for us to maintain any high profile treaties. There was always someone going around making sure any of our major treaties never happened. The eminent doom feeling was nearly always present, at least till the NpO treaty, then we though things were starting to get better. Truthfuly it was part of the decision, my decision, to keep C_K underwraps after figureing it out, the chances of being curb stomped if we told them at the time was much higher than the chance of them figureing it out which happened long after the incident. :\ Nevertheless all we can do is move forward, unrestricted foreign policy will be a new adventure for GATO!

The best color to use for brown is GATO's official brown forum color #663300, instead of the marron. Just throwing it out there o/ to us being on the list, we just keep moving right on.

One part of NPO's rehtoric has been that morality is subjective. Just pointing that out Also I believe the reasoning for the war was the level of diplomacy that NPO stooped to, not OV's. The talks were moderated and NPO acted just as they generally do in what they call a fair dimplomatic talk. They went almost to the level of GOONS diplomacy and got caught by an alliance with honourable friends, really finally got caught.

GATO should take its rightful place on Red.

If Dilber leaves if you leave, I can only advocate that you leave this game as soon as possible. You are a good speaker, but you lack any insight into other aspects of this game. Finding a CB to elimate a precieved threat is honourable? You can standby and advocate the suppression of peoples that were obviously not threats to Q or any of its allies? As the leader of GATO exactly one year ago, I cannot help but be extremely happy that NPO and anyone who supports them is being warred against. There was absolutly no reason or threat that warrented the nearly 1 year war/occupation of my alliance. However, I am also quite happy that they other "Karma" side is also being hit, many there have committed the same atrocities that NPO and her allies have. NpO you abandoned your ToF under pressure from NPO just weeks before they DoW on you. To take from Moo, May admin have mercy on your nations for I do not care, so long as as much damage is inflicted on each side of the war as possible *sits happily in popcorn mode*

I believe this war, more or less a war of the masses in revenge, was really envitible. I doubt there was anything that NPO could have done to stop it, one side was looking for a moral CB to use as a catalyst. It was going to happen no matter what, the CB as to why, however, could have been anything. *sits here from the Halls of the General Assembly looking out the window, all of the destruction being done to our sworn enemy of ideology, it gives me little fuzzies inside. Spanish cats furball perhaps or sweet revenge without personal consequence?* The alliance that has so many times broken the moral code of justice in the name of their own internal justice is having justice served up to them with uranium on the silver platter.

Moo - You weep what you have swon, I cannot say I have any sympathy. It was exactly a year and 5 days ago that under your direction, NPO declared war on GATO on the foundations of a baseless CB.
