Lavo Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 A while ago, in this announcement, we had stated that we would be offering full statehood to any part of former Gebiv that desires such. The result of the polls are in, and Corsica, Sicily, Sardinia, Malta, the Balearic Islands, and all the other former islands of Gebiv have voted to join the RA. They will be welcomed under one banner, Gebiv. The other parts of former country have voiced their desire to remain a protectorate until they can be fully independent and self-dependent. One portion of the protectorate, called Carthage, has recently formed it's own government and has asked to be granted full independence. The German-Spanish Regime promotes Education, Health, Service, and exercising of personal rights. However the Government will NOT tolerate stepping beyond one's given human rights, and has been known to execute for capital offenses. The Emperor usally deals with the more serious overseas and foreign affairs, while the President deals with the issues at home. All Men and women 18+ must enlist in the Armed forces for two years, and then can leave or stay. How the Empire came to be; The Rebel Army has held Eastern Spain for awhile. Recently unrest has spiraled in Europe, as Germans felt alientated that their country has been branching off into seperate factions and kingdoms. Colerich Krieg, founded the German Nationalist Party with hopes of restoring Germany to its glory, and unifing all Germans in Europe. However his outspoken attitute and critizim of the treatment of Germans lead to his Party being Banned and expelled. One day, however, he found a chance. He had recently visited the Chimairan Republic and found the Leader to share many of his Fascist-Nationalist Ideals. He had gained a friend in his struggle to save his people.. With the help of von Richt, Krieg was able to cut deals with Eastern RA Procterate in Spain, and was able to get most of his still loyal Nationalist memebers in to the Government. Days later, they declared Independance. The Rebel Army and Krieg made a Secret trade pact of Supplies and Info inorder to secure the RA didnt react. Now that the new Spanish-German Empire is established, von Richt and Krieg signed a Mutual Defense Pact, and the Empire entered the The Viridian Entente and is planning to enter the EFTA soon. With a Charismatic German Emperor and President, A Strong Cabinet, a Dark, Black, Imperial and Dedicated Military of German and Spainard Nationalists fighting for one cause, soon the two Ethnics will reclaim their rightful place and lands in Europe. For now, they remain Isolationalist, Only trading and communicating with known Allies.. But perhaps soon the ralling cry of a forsaken people will be heard.. Ruling Political Party [Although this is the ruling party, The Empire is NOT a one party Empire. However 89% of the population chooses to allign with the Nationalist party.
