The main airport in the area had yet to be taken by the government forces that sworn an oath to the man who stood near the back ramp of the aircraft, so this would have to do. Soon the airport would be secure. What good was such military transport like these if they couldn't take the occasional jarring of landing in such places? The aircraft sent up clouds of dust as it slowly taxied to a halt on the secondary airstrip, which, despite its remote location, had drawn a number of people, having traveled to see their the son of their last legal leader return. A bloody coup had seen his father executed at the hands of splinter groups, arisen from ethnic and religious tensions in the region. He had been successful elsewhere in life, but now it was time to return home, to his people. The back ramp of the cargo plane slowly lowered, and Sham Dawkins, walked off, followed by a small contingent of body guards. There was a general cheer and clapping that rose from the crowd, as Sham slowed his pace, wearing heavy boots, and light khaki military-style pants, his light blue shirt was tucked into the pants, and he wore a white multi-pocket vest, sunglasses covered his eyes. A baseball cap that covered his head made the back of his hair "ducktail" through the hole in the back of cap made by the adjustment strap. He called aloud to the crowd, "My friends, my countrymen and women, I am ecstatic for your journey to greet my return, and appreciate your support! We shall build this nation once again, on a basis of respect for man and woman, on religious, ethnic, and socio-economic tolerance. I expect us all to weather what may come in an uncertain future, but with your support, we will once again make this country a great example on the world stage once more! To you that have greeted me, and to the world as a whole, I give you, the [b]Caspian Clique[/b]!" "May our future be a bright light, to those that have had to live in this darkened land for too long!" he declared, before bowing his head. He quickly proceeded to move on, ushered by his bodyguards, to a waiting convoy of trucks. He still had his enemies in this land, and security at the landing area had been as tight as a backcountry airstrip could be. Our government promotes these ideals, and maintains a state of separation with the church, so as to keep secular and religious affairs in a state of harmony with one another.
