Given that it has become a purely economic treaty, the State of Dragonisia would like to call the attention of all states of the Empire to the Asian Economic Treaty being discussed in the north lands of Buryatia. Since this is purely an economic treaty not related to monetary policy it is not handled on an Imperial, but a state-by-state basis. Therefore, each state is encouraged to review the treaty and determine at what levels they would like to sign if any. Dragonisia has become a full participating member. Although it would be easy to kill, and the funds to make such a thing would be better spent elsewhere (like 4-legged walkers that are possible and maybe useful, but a couple tanks are better). Heh. This wasn't necessarily meant to be a Nanosolar project. There are still state research and military industries in Dragonisia and the Empire which could take this project up." freakwars Posted July 26, 2009 Report Share Posted July 26, 2009 In regards to the flying aircraft carrier, I would like to suggest a different design that removes the landing pad. The dirigible would have two lights next to a pair of hatches and mechanical arms that fold into their own compartment on the top and bottom. The plane would align itself between the two lights and transmit a landing code and plane designation. The mechanical arms would unfold and clamp onto the plane. The pilot would then cycle down his engines (unless the plane is low on fuel, then the engines would be killed immediately) until the engines are dead. Then the hatch opens and the plane is placed in a small landing area. The pilot leaves the plane, and the plane is then 'shelved' in a compact cradle, allowing large numbers of planes to be stored in a relatively small space.
