New Zealand:

Tahoe votes yes to New Zealand and abstains on the rest of the proposals.

As a pacific holding state, Tahoe cannot vote. Perhaps you would like to apply as a Central Nation?

Also private: The Nation of Selenarctos agrees, though we would prefer Micronesia declared a protectorate of the Pax Pacifica.

Though we had not thought that Micronesia was in anything but Hanseatic hands...however if this is not the case. The Hansa has always laid claims to Micronesia and we do not have any intentions of relinquishing this claim.

Since you have never given up the territory, we retract our objection.

Yuktobania wishes to join Pax Pacifica.

OOC: Could you provide a link to your nation's factbook (if you have one besides the military topic) and any other threads you feel are important to your nation? Thanks.

*Classified Proposals to PP*

We propose the following:

1. Geographical Micronesia shall be reclaimed by the Hanseatic Commonwealth

2. Geographical Melanesia shall be reclaimed by Annihilation.

3. The SOSUS of GA shall be used jointly by PP to keep out non-Pacific Military forces. We have reasons to believe that some superstates will attempt to dispatch submarines in the Pacific.

The charter states that Pacific Holding States are only excluded from the MDP portion of the treaty, not from voting itself.

Therefore, we can vote

Tahoe is technically correct. This is what the charter states.

Amendments: The treaty can be amended by a simple majority of Pacific Central signatories.

New Signatories: New signatories can be added with a simple majority of Pacific Central signatories in favour

So, they cannot vote on membership, but any proposal that is not a charter ammendment, they (and we) should be able to vote on.

You are correct, but Tahoe still can not vote in favor of New Zealand's admission and all other votes were for amendments. With the addition of Aotearoa's removal amendment, you are permitted to vote on expulsion.

OOC: The current draft is below for whoever is starting the new thread.

It should be noted that Yamato has collapsed as a viable entity, and therefore should be removed.

OOC: Fix'd. I even deleted that once, but then recopied the signatures and it came back D:

The Empire would like to suggest to holding members that Promised Land be removed to observer status til he comes into compliance with international demands to hand over the war criminals responsible for the biological attack on Somal. An attack that will not affect just one state, but many and should be considered an attack on humanity as a whole given the mutative nature of such a weapon. The demands put forward by the Empire are the presentation of the War Criminals for a Trial under Somal law.. and to allow international inspectors into their research labs and intelligence centers to verify all weaponized stock cultures of biological agents are destroyed.
