Silhouette
With no word from the government of the Australian Republic for some time, New Cymru is taking it upon itself to restore order. A brigade of air Assault infantry, a company of Marines, and a Light Cavalry Brigade have moved into key locations in the region to keep order. OOC: He is inactive... LeVentNoir
A most interesting move. Is only the formal government gone, or is there no defacto govt either?

Maelstrom Vortex
Dragonisia completely liberates this region from the 30 million in treasury debt that it owed us as a good will to the people of Australia. Perhaps that will help it obtain new governance.
Mergerberger II
It is odd you would condemn other nations for their respective Imperialist actions, yet you go and do the same to your neighbours? For shame. We expect Neo Olympia will not be pleased with you annexing half their territory.

Lord Frost
The Empire neither opposes or supports this move. Silhouette
We do not take kindly to the tone. We could remind Neo Olympia that their nation would not exist if not for our generosity, and that the same could be said for the Australian Republic, but that would be ever so crass. We were in fact planning on releasing a sizable quantity of land to Neo Olympian control, we are however rethinking that position in light of current events. The Union would expect that you would 'release' all Australian Republic land to Olympia, as it is theirs in the first place.
Silhouette
That is a matter of opinion, we suppose, and depends on your definition of 'the first place.'

We would like to remind New Cymru that Novus Niciae assisted New Cymru in becoming established in the region and we are the rightful successor state to Novus Niciae so we will make peaceful moves to re-establish our previous borders by purchasing land or diplomatically negotiation as it becomes vacant. In short Novus Niciae and Neo Olympia are one and the same. We are currently happy with our smaller area since it is the only useful land we were actually interested in on the Australian mainland and recovered government plans from the archives show that the remaining territory of Novus Niciae was held in a trust to allow for settlement of other groups. (OOC: New nations) Novus Niciae, to the best of our knowledge, did nothing. Imperial Wellington was in charge of the protectorate that we occupied. Nevertheless, we are willing to withdraw our troops out of good faith.

We do not comment or make suggestions on how you run things on your continent and we would expect you to do the same for us. An agreement will be peacefully reached without the concerns of the rest of the world. And we would deny your request for one simple reason, that of Globalisation. Nations from across the globe express their contempt or their congratulations and support for things happening on the other side of the world. Anything that happens in Australia will affect the future in Europe. Additionally, there is the simple matter of imperialism here that we do not condone in any matter, and we do not intend to waver from that position no matter where it is in the world. As soon as we let it slip once, it will begin to happen all over the world, then people will point fingers to the past and say that because we didn't do anything back then, we are a nation poorly managed, which is not positive in any manner. Just because you choose not to comment on events in Europe does not mean European countries cannot comment on events in Australia.
