Rebel Virginia objects to Article III. In light of the Dragon Empire's recent attempt to station sea crawlers in the Atlantic it is only plausible to assume that they will take advantage of this treaty to station troops in North America so that they may attack and colonize our nation. Under the terms of this treaty Saboria would have no choice but to allow the Dragon Empire to do this. We petition the PDSR of Greater Saboria to have this article stricken from the treaty.

Your paranoia does you no good.

Should the DE use the treaty to station crawlers in our waters with the intent of attacking someone, it would clearly be a violation of the treaty.

We assure our Rebel Virginia friends in North America if they would read article 3 closely they'd not that the intent must only be transit. There's only one treaty I have which permits the movement of sea-crawlers and that is enacted by Lavo. Since all of our sea-crawlers save the ones used for tectonic, radar, sonar, and tsunami propagation observation have been returned to national waters, this is hardly a justified concern.

And where would you be transiting them to? To us perhaps? The wording of this treaty leaves much to be desired.

"It might be a problem if we're interested in attacking you.. and eh.. we're not." stated Tom Clark. "We're very happy with our current territories."

"We only have your word to take for it." stated Secretary of State O'Reilly. "You've made it quite abundantly clear that you are interested in acquiring American territory."

"We're willing to accept those who wish to be part of our Empire. We're not seeking to acquire, to adopt maybe, but not to manually take over anything by force or coercion." Tom responded.

"You will not be acquiring any colonies in the Americas." stated O'Reilly firmly. "And that is final."

As far as we are concerned, Communism and Socialism brought Saboria to the greatness that it is today.

So you say. Communism is a failed ideology, a failed human social experiment. History has repeatedly proven that. Both Communism and Socialism claim 'to seek to better things' and as such, but in fact does the exact opposite.

Please provide proof where exactly communism has failed.

(OOC: Note that the soviet union likely didn't exist in our form due to no WWII and possibly lack of WWI)

OOC: Aww...come on. The history of the Soviet Union was the major reason of Byzantium's fiercely anti-Communist tendencies. :o:P

I need to think other reasons... >.> <.< >.>

OOC: Just take any other nation that may or may not have been ber-communistic in CNRP-history. =P
