Vanadrin Failing Posted January 26, 2009 Report Share Posted January 26, 2009 About three weeks ago, both NEW and WAPA hit the landmark of 2m Nation Strength within a day of each other. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to kick some growth into high gear, so after talking to the leadership at both WAPA and NEW, we started a race to 3m NS. As a bit of incentive, we tacked on a bit of a friendly wager as well.... Here's how it works: The first alliance to 2.25m, 2.5m and 2.75m receives $15m in aid sent to their five smallest member nations. The first alliance to 3m wins $30m sent to their smallest ten member nations. Simple, eh? Well, it took some time to hammer it all out and get everyone on board, so a formal announcement was shelved until the first checkpoint was reached. As of Jan. 25th, 2009, Nusantara Elite Warriors has peaked over 2.25m NS. WAPA will be sending out the aid post-haste, but we're not gonna let this get us down. We're not that far behind and will be kicking it into high gear over the coming months. ^^d Watch your backs, NEW. You won't know what hit you on the way to 2.5m! Yeah... Had to make it worthwhile, but not so much that it'd shoot any chances of whoever was behind at the end of the first round from ever catching up. Thanks for the support, Jofna! The "loser" is sending 15M to the "winner", which is fine in the world of betting, but the aid should be sent after the entire race is over. Now NEW has a 30M advantage over you. The 15M they just gained, plus the 15M you just lost. You're going to have to run fast to beat them to the 2.5M mark and get your money back.
