As in if you delete your Infrastructure does that 1.5bn infra bill come down to virtually nothing? Without that & the improvements, you're less than a round of aid away from being able to pay bills. Keep your generals, wonders, tech and land only. Find someone to send aid to save generals and wonders, when you can accept from the 7th. Also to consider -- I don't think you need to pay bills to collect taxes, that might make the full difference! Unfortunately when you come back inactive you have x amount of days worth of bills but 0 days of collections. Worst of all you have to wait ages for aid. When inactivity mode was implemented CN had quite a lot of Nations in comparison to today and it was designed to stop people abusing it. All it does now is stop the return of others. Personally if I saw I had that much in bill lock is not bother returning. I think there should be a cap on the amount bills accrue in inactivity mode. Get 54 million in aid (if you have to sell tech to do this it is still worth it). Pay. Also get trades, if you are willing to move to Maroon I can put you in a circle, PM me if so. Also get some help from old friends or join an alliance who will; they'll want to help. Also if you're willing to sell almost everything unneeded, the bills can become almost nothing. Keeping key wonders & improvements for paying bills & dropping most of your infra would make the bills almost nothing. I think a nation might be stuck in peace mode for a while before coming out. All the restrictions factored into me just deleting rather than sort it out when I came out of inactivity mode. Sucks. Also if you drop your infra and most improvements it wouldn't take much aid to pay off your bills while keeping your wonders.
