Aiden Ford
West Virginia will Vote for the establishment of the HQ in Merida As to other concerns brought to the Floor, we shall abstain from voting, for we do not know these countries very well, and thus do not oppose, or endorse their joining the Organization. Voodoo Nova
Our thoughts mirror those of the Commonwealth. We believe Fort Riley was initially chosen as the Headquarters for this organization. However, in light of the recent formation of a government in the area, we believe that another more secure location would be better suited for the position. Merida, located in the Yucatan, would be within the national defense sphere of the most militarily advanced nation of the NADU and continent in addition to serving as a relatively central position for all parties. As such, we are in favor of Mexico's proposal for the establishment of the NADU headquarters in Merida. We also propose inviting the Nutmeg Empire, Georgia Initiative, and Regnum to apply for membership in the NADU. Increased continental cooperation will help ensure that this organization is one for the whole of North America.
"Mexico believes the addition of Regnum would be best held off until they are able to get their own house in order. The Georgia Initiative and Nutmeg Empire would add to the majority of North American nations a part of NADU. We support their entry. Mexico will start the ballet to formally invite the three nations." Georgia Initiative- Yes: 2 No: 0 Abstain: 1 Nutmeg Empire- Yes: 2 No: 0 Abstain: 1 Regnum- Yes: 1 No: 0 Abstain: 2 Edited May 22, 2012 by Voodoo Nova

MostGloriousLeader
The Commonwealth will support the proposed location of a headquarters in Merida with the new developments in Kansas. As to the issue of invitation we support inviting the Nutmeg Empire and the Georgia Initiative. We do agree with Mexico to hold off on such an invitation for the nation of Regnum until they get their affairs managed being the newest nation on the continent. Isaac MatthewII
"United Carolina suggests a joint naval rapid deployment base in the Atlantic as well as in the Pacific. While we think it would serve a military advantage, it would also serve an advantage in quick aid response as well. We would propose somewhere along the northern Californian coast for the Pacific and somewhere along the northern Atlantic coast. Maybe even one in the Gulf of Mexico as well for effective cooperative rapid deployment."
Shadow hawk
Newfoundland votes yes for the entry of the Georgia Initiative, and the Nutmeg Empire. Regnum, being a new nation, we must neither vote yes or nay for it, as we don't know how they'll do on the world stage yet.

Isaac MatthewII
"United Carolina wishes to retract its vote on the Nutmeg Empire and vote no, we apologize but the recent actions of this nation seem a bit rash and we feel they dont belong in the NADU. We would also like to propose the building of an IUSS network in the eastern coast. While we can achieve this network on our own we feel a united NADU project would prove the best way to go. The main reasons being technological and the fact that we will be building this network throughout the Atlantic and would like the consent of the nations in the area." Kankou
The Greater Quebec Republic wishes to join the NADU. We believe our strategic position as the northernmost state aside from New Greenland within Eastern North America means that we will be a bulwark against possible attacks from over the Arctic. Furthermore, our natural resources should be an essential part of the defense industries of North America. We hope that we may be able to join without much hindrance.
