First we object to the accusation of veiled threats. If we wanted our threats veiled, we would do a much better job at doing so. We are being quite explicit in what the consequences of interfering with a coalition mission are. Secondly, we must object to any claims of interfering with Papuan Sovereignty. That we most certainly are not.

In fact the most optimal course course of action would be for the OU to immediately throw their support behind the GPLF and Stabilization Brigade. This would protect the sovereignty of that area. Instead the failure to recognize these groups and encourage them to form a unity government to attack the terrorists suggests it is the OU with ulterior motives. Its as if the OU is holding thin,gs out for some other group behind the scenes or something.

We encourage you to adopt the optimum strategy now. But again we will continue missions regardless of other nations and adjust our operational mission if there are interferences with our current mission so as to continue being effective in the current mission.

Finally we are baffled by discussions of race. First Tianxia is not a homoethnic nation. Nor do we by any means practice institutional apartheidism seperating ethnic groups like the GP and perhaps others do. You've been spending too much time with Apartheidists, and we find such comments insulting. Since when does it matter what race people are? A criminal is a criminal. Anyone who believes in such separatism is an enemy of Tianxia.

As access to more weapons caches is gained, the Brigade eventually gains control over several long range missiles, with various optional payloads. On the frontier, Brigade troops would harass terrorist forces, and when possible, apprehend PoWs for interrogation and for use as bargaining chips in the future.

Encrypted Reply to the Tianxian Allies:

At this time we are in dire need of medicine, food, weapons, ammunition, and infantry armor/vests, more so than anything else. Due to continued attacks against this region, our forces have grown to over a million soldiers, however most of them are poorly armed and equipped. Precision strikes against the leadership, communication facilities, and missile silos of the extremists attempting to annihilate us would be the best use of air power at the present time. While we can advance eastwards, doing so without gaining access to more weapons will result in large casualties. We also have recently gained access to a cache of bunker busting missiles; if you can triangulate the launch locations of the missiles that have killed many of our families and brethren, we can use these missiles against those silos, to silence them for good.

Message to the Chinese Papua New Guinea Liberation Front and the Grand Papua Liberation Front:

At this point in time, we are all fighting for families and the right to live. As such, we propose that our three groups work together in overthrowing the extremists who threaten us with extermination, and rebuild Papua into a place where we can all live in tolerance of one and other.

Dispatch from the Reich Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Greater Germanic Reich, hereby, recognizes the Papua Stabilization Brigade, Chinese Papua New Guinea Liberation Front and the Grand Papua Liberation Front as the legitimate government of Grand Papua.

Humanitarian Operations

Even before the dispatch from the Reich Ministry of Foreign Affairs was sent throughout the world, dozens of transports from Germany flew towards Grand Papua loaded with humanitarian supplies. This included MREs, medicine, and other essential items needed for survival. However, packed away in some of the transports were other "items" deemed necessary. Thousands of StA rifles, Panzershrecks, and XE Xenias Infantry Suits were loaded into dozens of boxes, with the final destination being the Papua Stabilization Brigade. When the transports reached their transports, they would begin to air drop these supplies for use against the Fascist. In addition, five hundred Whermacht advisors would drop into Grand Papua to assist the Papua Stabilization Brigade with weapons and other tactical assistance.

The betrayal by the revolutionary homeland of Tianxia was all the more putrid by the memories of hunting dogs being boiled after a rabbit hunt. It was always the same: the revolutionary flames would be tempered by opportunism in the thirst for power, just as Mao had killed off his potential successors in his dementia. Perhaps Yuan Jia had become exactly like the hypocrite that was the chairman. But the Kamobrian revolutionaries were undeterred. If Tianxia turned its back on the revolutionary Zeonism, then it would be the heirs to Kamobria who will uphold the truth.

Since the Kamborians had the suitable equipment for fighting in a VX environment, the area denial weapon would be the best chance of bringing down the opposing rebellions. VX was utilized in 5 km-thick rings east of West Papau, making it impossible to pass through without the use of tunnels or specialized chemical suits. While number-wise the mixed would have an advantage, they would not be able to use it without taking extensive casualties. There were also nuclear mines laid out in various locations, which would be detonated when needed to take out massive numbers of people. Meanwhile, the 40,000 troops outside of the defense zone would do its best to get the two organizations concentrated into a certain position for use of nuclear weapons. Back in headquarters, the troops were rising in numbers slowly. Slowly but surely.

As for the special forces? They had jobs to do. One of them which included a nice present in form of a nuclear bomb which would eliminate the German transports from ever reaching New Guinea if they attempted to reach the island. Others would include some more devious actions.

It is not the coalition mission we take issue with, but the coalition members. If Tianxia wishes to work with the Oceanic Union troops on the ground, we welcome you. If Avalon wished to send planes or Vietnam to send ships, we would gladly accept them. This is an an east-asian matter however, and may be handled without the interferance of European nations, one of whom tried to invade Grand Papua.

Yet you ask if the Oceanic Union harbors alterior motives. We were the first on the ground and first to take the fight to the Kamborians: the true perpetrators who even now our soldiers weed out from the papuan jungles. Yes, we are watching the Grand Papau Liberation Front and the Grand Papua Stabilization Brigade, but neither has yet demonstrated itself stable enough to warrant our support and we do not through guns and words at every group who claims to support our goal. Before their broadcasts ended, the Grand Papua Liberation Front appeared heavily of chinese ethnicity though perhaps Tainxian intelligence has confirmed that support given to the Liberation Front will not end up in the hands of Kamborian fighters but forgot to tell anyone?

We admit, our initial strikes were not enough. We underestimated Kamborian movement's resources and leadership, a mistake that will not happen again. From the air we bomb their strongholds, and from the ground we secure even the rubble. We have been providing aid and support to the Papuan people and remnants of the local government since less than an hour after the gas fell, so let it not be said that we do not support Papuan unity and self-governance.

Pairs of F22s would meet the German transports as they approached.

"You are entering a combat zone. Please change course and land at the airport in the Oceanic Union Protectorate at the cordinates provided to you," the pilots were told over the radio, along with GPS coordinates of an airfield south east of Borneo. "Be advised that we will continue to monitored you if you choose to proceed. You fly over Grand Papua at your own risk, and without the approval of the Oceanic Union authority, which may be considered an act of war."

The lead transport opened a line of communication to the fighters.

"We are transporting important humanitarian supplies to citizens in need. It is important that these supplies meet their destination."

The fighters turned off the communication link and continued onto their path. They only had two minutes left in their journey.

Frankly when we're talking about nuclear rogue actors. Why not have the most experienced militaries participate in the operations. Germans and Athenians have foughten and drilled with us many times on taking out nuclear arsenals pre-emptively on a global level. They both know if they tried to establish permanent presences beyond the ones they already have they would face the wrath of Tianxia and won't do that. The idea of Asians only taking this action doesn't make sense when the stakes are so high. Its not exactly like an ICBM can't reach anywhere in the world. If you think an ICBM from the Pacific can't reach Europe or vice versa, we'll book you a free week at the Ritz Carlton Honolulu right away, we'll see what you say then.

The idea that you should wait is silly. Their country just got nuked to hell and gassed to hell. The fact that they have been able to organize any sort of coherent security force under those conditions is evidence enough of their competence. They have the organizational capacity to put in domestic forces, its time now to abandon your ideological entrenchments and adopt the sensible strategy: 1) Initiate operations with all available international military forces especially those with the most experience in conducting these types of operations. Knock the enemy off his center of gravity. 2) Immediately back the responsible natives and engage in capacity and governance building programs. This is sound policy, and considering the events of recent weeks we do not have time for a crash course in crisis stability to go into the theory behind why with slow acting committees.

A return to prioritizing speed, and we say there are nearly 300,000 Oceanic Union soldiers on the ground in Grand Papua. We have trained to work together, and all of the the 1st Mechanized Selenarctos troops at the minimum have trained to work with their Tiaxian counterparts. We have never trained with Athenian troops, and we have never trained German soldiers. We do not have the radio codes, perhaps not even compatible radios. Suppose a Selenarctan infantry unit needs fire support, do they radio the German planes above? Do they radio SelCom, who calls the German Command, who contacts their own planes? Does the man on the phone at SelCom ask in German or English, or is there someone at the German Command who speaks Tagalog? Now suppose the unit is taking friendly fire from the plane, or perhaps it is an Australian unit, or a unit speaking any of the dozen languages of Oceanesian states? Perhaps Tianxia may work faster with Athens and your new-found ally Germany, but those on the ground do not and surely in the interest of time, it would be better to use those available now rather than that which must be moved half way around the world.

Let Athens and Germany train their satellites on New Guinea, for more eyes are always better and the jungle is both large and dense. We can trace missiles back to their launch with our own radar, and our bombers have let no location fire twice. Even now, our soldiers have secure facilities that yet to fire, destroying the weapons and chemicals stockpiled there, and our planes run strikes against Grand Papuan nuclear missile reserves. Bring compatible planes and soldiers and the process will go even faster, but wait for soldiers to arrive & integrate or clear space for each other and precious man hours go to waste.

No response would be issued to Selenarctos while the preparations continued. Around 30 Airbus A400Ms would be filled with the newest in medicine and food that can easily be stored for longer periods of time. In addition to these the planes would also be filled with Ares combat armor that provided protection against chemical weapons among many things and ARX 160 rifles. A final gift to the resistance forces would be around 100 High Guard Razors among which 10 Razor Special Operations. These would make sure the resistance knew how to use the weapons and could provide help with actual combat, these special forces would airdrop over territory held by the Grand Papua Stabilization Brigade.

Refueling in allied territory they would find their way to Grand Papua a few hours after the Germans. From Cam Ranh Bay two squadrons of F-5s would launch to shadow the transports at range, the F-5s were under strict orders not to fire first. All of these were guided by an arsenal of U-2s, from the A that observed the environment to the B that ensured connection to ISIS and the C that provided airborne warning and control. Finally an U-2D was also sent over Grand Papua to broadcast messages of support on all frequencies and that the global community would have their backs.

There are always collaborators with every movement, and that included even the Kamborian revolutionaries. Some of the special forces were of other ethnicity besides Han Chinese, with a significant number of Papuans. They had a mission to do in disguises, but unfortunately they got shot by regular members of the Kamborian forces before carrying out their mission. The chaotic battlefield made such mistakes appear rather frequently. But there will be other attempts.

When the transports refused to break off, the F22s fell further back but continued to follow the slower transports through Papuan airspace, tracking the air drops and feeding their radar telemetry to Selenarctos Command. The package landing locations would be cross-checked with imagery from high-altitude Predator drones and satellites where practical, and as soon as the transport jets were out of range, SelCom would divert F35s and Predator drones to target the packages with precision Small Diameter Bombs and hellfire missiles.

Meanwhile, the campaign of 2O37 bombers continued to rain munitions on Kamborian emplacements, former-Grand Papuan weapons caches, and radio transmitters trying to reach internationally. Finally on the air front, AWAC jets from Davao City would begin flying over Grand Papua equipped with jammers operating on common long-range frequencies.

On the ground, the 1st Mechanized Division kept up pressure on Kamborian-held territory. The 6th Mechanized forces remained on humanitarian and local-governance duties in western Papua, while White Cross workers (along with small detachments to 6th Mechanized forces providing security) would work to begin providing medical assistance to the Papuan Stabilization Brigade.

As the Selenarctos aircraft bombed the German packages, they would see members of the Papuan Stabilization Brigade rushing to attempt to secure them; paying no heed to their upcoming doom. For them, the medicine and food contained in these crates were of greater importance than their individual lives; with these their families had a chance at surviving. A number of the Predator drones would even be fired upon by Brigade machine guns and even a few SAMs. Some of the crates were successfully secured and their supplies taken; but the majority were not. A good hundred fighters would lose their lives in an attempt to save their families, murdered in cold blood. This would turn the Brigade's opinion of Selenarctos upside down, as they were now no better than the extremists in the eyes of Papuans. Further, the 6th Mechanized would be asked to leave, the Brigade's trust in their nation having been reduced to nothing. While turning them down would likely mean that the White Cross workers would leave as well, those murders could not be trusted. In fact, Brigade leadership would some of the few international communication systems they had left to broadcast a message to the world.

Public Announcement:

Earlier today, German supply aircraft were attempting to deliver invaluable medical and humanitarian supplies to us and our people, something we requested and begged for. After successfully delivering these packages, our forces moved in to secure them, hoping that would be able to feed our families, and tend to our wounded. However, as soon as the German aircraft left Papuan airspace, these crates were bombed by Selenarctos aircraft, killing at least one hundred of our forces in cold blood. This is unacceptable. Now, to us, the nation of Selenarctos is no better than murderers, than the extremists. We cannot fathom why invaluable humanitarian supplies were attacked, let alone while there were people in the area. As such, we, the Papuan Stabilization Brigade, hereby request that Selenarctos pull out of Papua, least they kill more innocent people and indirectly kill scores of sick and wounded members of our families. If any other humanitarian convoy is attacked, we hereby recognize this as an act of war against our people, and will respond accordingly.

The general situation was not so good for the Kamborians in their original base, with most of the northwestern coast now in the hands of the Selenactos army. Yet, not everything was so bad. The actions of the Papuan Stabilization Brigade only revealed their locations to the Kamborians, who still had a general overview of the situation to the south. Two 20 megaton nuclear weapons were launched from mobile launchers at the two heaviest concentration of fire. The Kamborians were running short on chemical and nuclear weapons, but if they managed to do things a bit more, then their ultimate objectives would be achieved. At the same time, various ground attack fighters which survived the various attacks prepared to take off. They would go hunting for the Papuan Stabilization Brigade.

At the same time, it was time to start disinformation using the ethnic Papuan collaborators.

Public announcement from somewhere in central west New Guinea

The so-called Papuan Stabilization Brigade, a criminal organization, has practically declared that it is comprised of the same fascists which has caused so much suffering for Grand Papua. Who remembers the massacres the Nozis had done? Who remembers the attempted invasion by the fascist Germans which only ended in failure? For anyone from Grand Papua to even think of accepting the help of the Nozis who has killed so many of our people, they can only be from the same kind of criminal organizations. We do not want to be ruled by the genocidal Chinese, but even more we do not want to live under the rules of the traitors to New Guinea. We ask the world to please stop all aid to the Papuan Stabilization Brigade, for only the fascists wishing to control New Guinea would be so eager to receive aid from the very countries that has pushed Grand Papua over the edge.

Special Kill Teams are made up consisting of what trained men and women the Grand Papua Front could muster. These teams are sent out with orders to hunt and eliminate Komborians. Doesn't matter who the Komborians are, their orders are simple, find them and kill them. With glee in their hearts the Kill Team operators gather what weapons they can and set about their gruesome task of ridding the world of the stain of all things Komborian.

Using ground penetrating radar, magnetic anomaly detectors, and synthetic aperture radar along with multi-spectral masint to track movements. Six B-9 bombers were used to attack portions of the tunnel complexes. The primary method of attack was the employment of 24 of the Tianxia air forces most powerful cratering bombs. The Thermobaric weapons were designed to unleash massive shockwaves into tunnel complexes collapsing them while sucking the oxygen entirely out of the area at the same time.

This was rapidly followed on by bombing the complex areas with Twelve B-11 bombers using small diameter bombs enmasse to saturate the exposed target areas. The Tianxia Launch Loop was used to launch up a two stage fractional orbital rod bombardment bundle. Using the Launch Loop to put up the massive weapon a second stage booster would put it into a polar orbit for part of the way before deorbiting a bundle of three tungsten rods down straight onto the enemy force. The result would be that they'd melt upon impact creating a massive area effect triple blast on the targets.

F-6 fighters and A-47 attack drones would be used to bomb the movements out of the Birds Nest and deny the capability to move heavy equipment and launchers from the territory to other parts. Utilizing choke points as killing zones they would deny the ability for the enemy to conduct maneuver warfare.

Additionally F-5s would hit ground attack aircraft as soon as they took off into the sky from beyond visual range. F-6s would also engage them as encountered.

With the air bases from which they took off from located, surface action groups would be called in to saturate the bases and air fields with cruise missile attacks denying the enemy the ability to launch.

Finally a second force of F-5s would launch from nearby carriers and bases, this force would be the largest 180 fighters, supported by hundred of drones. The Fighters would provide a complete map of the battlespace engaging SAMs and any surviving hostile aircraft as soon as they took off. EWACs would provide broad spectrum jamming as a second force would move over the battle space.

In the North across the coast ground effect aircraft would begin transporting marine forces onto the North of the Island, landing a total of 18, 000 troops in a matter of hours. In areas around where the GPLF and the Stabilization brigade were operating, the Army Airborne each dispatched two full ranger battaltions to support them int heir operations, followed by combat engineering teams to setup air fields to make further supply and logistical landings.

Using old school triangulation, common sense, news reports, and their eyeballs the Chinese Papua New Guinea Nationalist Front is able to get a general read on the Komborian/Selectaran locations. In a fit of vengeance and humor the Front orders the launching of its own chemical weapons. The target, the front lines of the Selectnaran and Komborian engagement area. Twenty VX Gas missiles are hurtled into the sky along with a general rash of bombings, sniper attacks, and small unit attacks on Selectnaran units in retaliation for the bombing of the Papuan Stabilization Brigade.

With reports of even more attacks the time for playing nice was over. Five B-9 squadrons had been reactivated and deployed to Tianxian airbases where they would be armed with a wide array of munitions, at the same time the HNS Poseidon, HNS Ares and HNS Aphrodite would prepare their respective aircraft complements for combat. When the final order came in the fun could begin. The five squadrons would leave from their bases and head for the Bird's Head Peninsula, thanks to their stealth it would be quite unlikely for Selenarctos to detect them before they reached their target and unleashed hell. In addition to this the CAP consisting of two F-5 squadrons would be able to deal with most enemies.

Once the B-9s arrived at the Peninsula they would first head for the relatively narrow passage connecting the peninsula to the rest of the region. Using cluster munitions and air-dropped mines the goal was to create a massive no-go zone for hostile ground forces, both personnel and vehicular. This initial move would be closely followed by B-9s dropping anti-personnel cluster munitions over larger formations of enemies using intelligence obtained from both allied forces as Athens' own intelligence systems. Great care was taken these attacks would not happen close to known locations of more friendly locals and to avoid unneeded collateral damage. As usual at all times these aircraft would be coordinate by U-2s in different set-ups flying from the HNS Ares and Aphrodite.

The second part which happened around the same time as the first would come from the carriers in the area. First of all from the HNS Poseidon 2 full F-5 squadrons launched, these would move over friendly airspace to engage any enemy ground attack aircraft and thus cancel out the air advantage while giving friendlies one through the second phase. From the HNS Ares and HNS Poseidon 40 U-1Bs and 20 U-1As went into the air to move for locations of heavy fighting. The U-1Bs would stay at enemy lines and directly engage ground units through its cannon while U-1As moved behind the lines to unleash bombs over the positions, most importantly logistics.

Finally by now the transports were also arriving and unloading supplies, the High Guard Razors would seek out camps to join their new allies and prepare for fighting. Stuff was sure to get fun, as news had been received about Selenarctos destroying humanitarian supplies before the escorts would remain in the area for a bit as a deterrent to the enemy.

Simultaneously, four squadrons of the Lu-67 Multi-Role lifted from the Echo Point MoB in the Pacific. The fighters, equipped with thermobaric small diameter bombs, would bomb suspected enemy positions in tandem with Athen's forces. Bombing strikes would be fierce and continuous, with continuous sorties throughout the day. The two carrier battlegroups, in the Pacific, would also launch fighters for sorties against enemy targets. It was known that the enemy would be using the thick jungle to their advance; therefore; the carrier launched Lu-67s would also use thermobaric small diameter bombs to burn and flush the enemy out. The fighters would bomb the suspected front and rear of the enemy; to force the enemy into a ring of fire. Other sorties would focus on bombing the center of this ring to wipe the enemy out.

At the same time, one squadron of GLI-133 Ank'ríats had made their Grand Papua. Upon reaching their targets, the GLI-133s dropped a total of 75,000 lb (34,000 kg) of ordnance each, which mostly consisted of thermobaric bombs to wipe the rebels out. They spread the bombing out, as to catch retreating rebels in the onslaught. As the bombers left Papua airspace, they'd rebase in allied Taxiana bases for re-arming and refueling for the next mission.

As the Predator drones flew past their targets, the small arms fire turned skyward would prove ineffective against the fast and stealthy planes. Two drones suffered damage that forced them to land at an airfield in the closer Oceanic Union protectorate, but the rest were able to maintain operations.

The VX missiles fired by the Chinese Papua New Guinea Nationalist Front were mistakenly thought to be launched by the Kamborian movement, until Nationalist Front guerrillas began a series of uncoordinated attacks on Selenarctan outposts. Though military casualties from the Nationalist VX were very light, the gas caused heavy casualties among the native civilian population who managed to survive the Kamborian's gas and sought protection in safe zones established by the 8th Mechanized. The Nationalist's raids against the highly trained 1st Mechanized soldiers in the jungles resolved overwhelmingly in favor of the Selenarctan forces with minimal casualties. In the cities and against the peacekeeper-oriented 8th Mechanized soldiers, Nationalist raids were more of a problem, with higher casualty rates than the 1st Mechanized but still heavily in the Selenarctan troops's favor with combined air and naval support.

While the 2O37 bombers expanded their campaign to include Nationalist Force targets, an additional four squadrons of Predator C UAVs were brought in from Laoag and the SS Manila. The Army also begin flying surface to air missiles into western Papua to provide missile protection, and requisitioned a pair of A225 air transports to relocate a squadron of Scorpion medium gunships.

With the coastal and most-populated (or formerly-populated) areas of western Papua now secure, the 1st Mechanized would initiate a 'leap-frogging' strategy against Kamborian-held territory, using helicopters to fly one group of soldiers to a nearby Kamborian or former GP installation. While the location was secured and military supplies and weapons destroyed, another group of soldiers would already be landing at the next site, securing it and neutralizing any rebels found. The goal was not to completely eliminate of the Kamborian movement yet, but to the remove it's access to established infrastructure, throw it's forces into disarray, and deny it access to chemical and weapons of mass destruction.

Finally, a detachment of 1st Mechanized jungle warfare instructors were flown in from Manila to meet with the Papuan Stabilization Brigade. Though they did not bring weapons, they brought sincere apologies for the lives lost to Selenarctan munitions and radios able reach SelCom. They also brought gas masks, medical supplies, and the locations of Grand Papuan armories that could be looted for weaponry. They would assist the Papuan Stabilization Brigade with organization and training, and facilitate the arrival of further humanitarian aid from the White Cross.

Public Video Broadcast from the government of Selenarctos:

Camera pans across government buildings in a city empty of inhabitants.

"Grand Papau continues to suffer the worst loss of life in Oceania since the first Kamborian genocide, as nerve gas and chemical weapons are turned against civilian populations by a Chinese supremacist group calling itself the 'The Heirs of the Kamborian' Revolution. Millions have died at the hands of these terrorists, and the island of New Guinea is now embroiled in a war."

Camera shows clips of Selenarctos soldiers in SCUs with gas masks, walking through empty streets, the jungle, and guarding refugee camps, plus a clip of 2O37 Stragetic Bombers releasing cruise missiles.

"At the forefront of this struggle, the brave soldiers and pilots of the Selenarctos Armed Forces fight to bring justice to those responsible for this atrocity. Across New Guinea, Selenarctos and our Oceanic Union allies are fighting to protect the people of Grand Papua and end the deadly attacks. In the cities and jungles of New Guinea, we are bringing the fight to the enemy with the latest technology and force of our military."

Camera shows a air of Scorpions lifting off from a landing pad, then a Predator C UAV unleashing a barrage of hellfire missiles at a target off the screen. Finally, it switches to Selenarctan soldiers unloading White Cross crates labeled 'Food' and 'Medical Supplies' from a plane, and a soldier showing a group of Papuan civilians how to put on a gas mask.

"For those who have survived the initial attacks, Selenarctos and the Selenarctan Branch of the White Cross are providing assistance and health care. Thousands have lost their homes, and remain vulnerable in the wake of the fighting. Selenarctos supports our friends, and we vow to provide our full support to see through a return to stability on the island of New Guinea."

It seemed the the Fronts were playing right into the hands of the Kamborians. The Chinese Papua New Guinea Nationalist Front foolishly used VX gas, only making them be as bad as the Kamborians themselves. As for the supposed "good" Grand Papua Front? They started their own acts of genocide with special kill teams who would gather up surviving Chinese and mass murder them in cold blood, like in the Balkans many years ago. All this was being recorded and sent to Selenarctos troops by Chinese civilian survivors who wanted nothing to do with the Kamborian movement. The Fronts were only digging themselves into a hole.

The bombings from the Selenarctos and Tianxia was frustrating for the Kamborians, who were moving slower than expected despite their policy of carrying light except for the chemical missiles, but by now the long range missiles had been used up and all that were left were massive stockpiles of chemical shells and IRBMs suitable for close combat area denial.Troop numbers had been enlarged despite the casualties of 10,000 by conscription of former highly trained troops of the Grand Papua army, leading to a force of 80,000 infantry with another 250,000 possible recruits. A small number compared to the million-strong (before the nuclear explosion) Papuan Stabilization Brigade, but definitely stronger than the two Fronts to the east, which would probably number 270,000 at the most assuming none of them were killed in the battles and VX attacks. The low flying wooden aircraft, hidden by the clouds and practically invisible to radar, strafed Brigade and Front troops, while laying a vast minefield all around the northern coast of the Kamborian area of influence, mines of the nature which would not be set off easily by bombings. Any troops trying to come from the north were going to have a more than 70% casualty rate trying to get through. here was also the various anti-ship/anti-air weapons and systems which would be formidable to get through.

The environment of New Guinea made it impossible for most conventional warfare methods to be of great affect. The constant cloud coverage in all parts of western and central New Guinea, combined with the type of trees, made it very hard for satellites to have as clear looks into movements compared to other locations. Yes, cities would be easy to look into through imagining, but any other methods on any other locations was going to be difficult to detect. The soft soil of New Guinea meant that space-based ground penetrating radar would not be able to differentiate tunnels and regular soil, magnetic anomaly detectors had no effect whatsoever in tracking small movements (particularly when seen from space), and synthetic aperture radar was only usable only against large scale conventional armies, not lightly armed jungle fighters. Near daily rain also made trying to start a fire in the jungle futile.

As a finishing blow, three 20 megaton "dirty" nuclear missiles were fired at the northeastern part of the Kamborian controlled area, to take out the Tianxia beachheads. Three more radioactive bombs were used on the rest of the northern coast, turning the Kamborian northern coast into a near impenetrable radioactive wasteland. Nothing was alive there anyway, so there would be no backlash from the attacks.

Current Status, Three Days Since Attack

But in the midst of this, the Papuan collaborators of the Kamborians succeeded in frustrating into the Papuan Stabilization Brigade, and under that name started a wave of questionable acts against Kamborian and Selenarctos soldiers, with relentless killings under the calls of cleansing New Guinea of the invaders and murders, like what the Grand Papua Front was doing in the north. A seemingly more radical face would be shown to the Oceanic Union, aimed at turning the hearts of the Union away from all groups in New Guinea, even it the hypocrites continue their deliberate attempt to expand their influence.

The launching of VX missiles from the Front startled the Australian command. It was now time for action.

Declaration from Australia

The actions of the Grand Papua Front has shown that it is just as much of war criminals as the Kamborians. We have concrete evidence of videos showing that the Grand Papua Front have engaged in as much of genocidal activities as the Asian supremists. It does not matter if this is some sort of retaliation; what is important is that an eye for an eye makes the world go blind.

We, the Socialist People's Republic of Australia, cannot just stand by while New Guinea continues this mass destruction. As a member of the Oceanic Union, we pledge to protect our fellow workers of New Guinea. We will consider all movements in New Guinea as rebellions unless they submit to the authority of the Oceanic Union, which will oversee the transfer to a truly democratic and free government. There is no alternative.

Movements

The 200,000 troops in southern New Guinea had already dug into their positions, prepared for counterattacks by the rebels. 4 squadrons of B-2 Baraks supported by F-35 II Hetzs and F-23 Shahafs would began bombing all important facilities in eastern New Guinea, where the Grand Papua Front was centered in. Two divisions of the Australian Marine Corps landed in the Papuan Peninsula under the support of the navy, and would work to take the entire peninsula.

At the same time, in preparation for possible expansion of conflicts, all air and strategic assets were activated, allowing a completely clear view of what was happening in New Guinea, something only the Australians were capable of. If those not worthy interfered, so will the Socialist People's Republic do what is necessary to protect the Workers of Oceania.

Upon the attack by the Australians against Tianxia rangers and their allies, Tianxia fighters would immediately begin combat action against them. As F-35s entered into the battlespace, Tianxia AWACs would acquire targeting via networked AESA radar coverage, giving their telemetry to F-5 fighters, the F-5s would immediately begin acquisitions of the fighters. EWAC drones could concentrate pencil beam radar signals onto the F-35s hitting their uplinks and jamming them up as F-5s missiles both active radar and EO/IR guided would swarm the F-35s enmasse engaging them. Additionally pulse laser systems would be used to burn the lenses of the electro-optical targeting systems and synthetic aperture systems on the F-35s.

This would rapidly be followed on by the targeting F-23 flights as they came in. F-5s would immediately begin engaging them using similar tactics to repel them from the battle space.

On the ground Tianxia airborne forces would begin reporting in the location of B-2 strikes up to the air force. F-6s would scramble into the battle space using their guns to demolish the low flying un-maneuverable B-2 bombers before they would have a chance to flee.

In response to the attacks against Tianxia troops, IRBM launchers in the Marianas would immediately target the Australian Air Fields. Initial missile launches MIRVs equipped with both decoys and large bomblet swarms for the initial attacks to hit localized missile defenses and tracking radars, quickly saturating those areas to make them unworkable. Following the initial attack a second waves was used to crater air fields.

Following on B-10 bombers shot across Australia targeting the Australia northern IADS command bunkers.

Following on this strike, Tianxia B-9 bombers would move in over the Australian forces, dropping 10 air burst FOABs over their front line. Following in on this strike Sixteen B-11 Bombers quickly saturated the area with a strike of 1900 small diameter bombs using signals intelligence to precisely target Australia's communication positions.

Military Dispatch from Tianxia:

Bombing Tianxia ranger forces is a stupid idea. Our troops will not tolerate interference by such a irresponsible actor. This is not the first time Australia has antagonize Tianxia. Our troops on the ground see no evidence of these tragedies. Yet you've been bombing OUR forces positions.

Australia's actions are rash and unjustified. It has 12 hours to begin withdrawing before it finds itself in a General War with the Empire of Tianxia.

OOC: By agreement with all 3 GMs, if Kankou doesn't post damages like she didn't to my last attack, authors are hereby authorized to do it for her. For the record I had been RPing air breathing SARS, MAD, and ground penetrating radar in previous posts and never said it was space based. She refused to have a discussion instead resorting annoying IRC antics about leashes. She's been warned since Sweden began to take more damage and she's failed. Its now tough !@#$%*^.

IC:

The explosions across the combat zone erupted as the large thermobaric bombs tore through the area, caving in tunnels and lighting the area ablaze as fireball after fireball erupted. The soft soil was easily displaced causing massive caveins in a chain reaction.

Following on this devastation thousands of bombs came in hitting targets again and again and again. Saturating the area with bombardment before the coup d'grace came. Transiting straight down through the atmosphere the three rods hit with tremendous explosive force liquifying but cratering anything that was left. The effects would be the destruction of roughly 7500 of the enemies best 1000 wounded and 40,000 recruits either severely injured or KIA.

A-47 drones would use their GMTI and SARs to locate three enemy TEL nuke launchers firing off JDAMs and knocking out two more ICBMs. Another strike was against a TEL launcher but the satellite guidance on the bomb malfunctioned creating a fail.

The nuclear missiles flying overhead were immediately picked up on radar. Tianxia F-5s engaged the targets with the HPM and Pulse Laser weapon systems knocking out their detonation mechanisms and causuing the weapons to crash down to earth before they entered in explosions. As the Tianxia beach head grew, their forces were able to recover the three nukes getting them out of theatre where they could be safely dismantled. Tianxia forces now numbered 40, 000 as they continued to make their way inland fighting hard with close air support to continue their advance. Allied local armies were reinforced by two additional ranger battalions, though the B-2s had managed to knock out a few squads before the F-6 fighters had intercepted the Australians.

Military Dispatch:

With the use of nuclear weapons against Tianxia forces, Tianxia now considers this to be a nuclear conflict. We hereby advise all parties the use of tactical nuclear weapons by Tianxia is hereby authorized, we advise you take this into account.

Tactical Strikes

Using aerial intelligence Tianxia forces who were engaging them, 4 250 kiloton nuclear airburst weapons would be used against the Kamborian forces that were attempting to lay minefields, as well as against their training positions.

OOC: See nuke destroy spyrolls.

The initial strike by Athenian B-9s proved to be succesful. Through unexploded cluster munitions and the mines the Bird's Head Peninsula was effectively locked off from the rest of New Guinea. Casualties from the bombings had also been estimated at a few hundred Kamborians moving through the area at the time. Athenian F-5s had managed to establish air superiority throughout Brigade held territory while frontline U-1s had managed to give the Brigade and Fronts more breathing space as Kamborian forces were pushed to a halt and some places even a withdrawal.

With that the time was ready for the next phase in Athenian movements. The Pacific Fleet holding five Amphibious Transportable Docks would deliver a total of 7,500 Thracians and basic support vehicles such as anti-missile systems and other basic defenses. These Thracians would land in Brigade held territory in the north, at the same time ten A400Ms with a total of 1160 Thracians from a paratrooper division would be dropped near the same point. There they would establish a basic camp, which would soon grow to a forward operating base due to the quick work of the Hellenic Army Corps of Engineers. This base would not only serve as a base to launch combat operations from but also for the arrival of further ground forces that could move out. Protection against aircraft would be provided by constant CAPs over the base and surrounding area. In the meantime the B-9s would come back however this time with purely anti-personnel and anti-material cluster munitions which were dropped over Kamborian positions in the west and those left on the Bird's Head Peninsula. That was for all but four bombers, these four each carried 250kt tactical nukes to be dropped over the largest concentrations of Kamborian forces.

Meanwhile intelligence had also located locations of two launchers capable of launching nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction. From silos in the Athenian Federation two ICBMs launched with kinetic packages to destroy these launchers before they could do anymore damage.
Imperial Announcement from the Athenian Federation

We hereby recognize the attack by Australian forces against Tianxian rangers as a direct attack on Tianxian sovereignty. I could cite the MDAP, TriCom, the Sovereign Initiative or heck I could cite the fact we are in the same coalition. But I won't. As of this moment the Athenian Federation is in a state of war with the Australian state. Everything. Must. Die.
Whatever managed to avoid being shot down by Tianxian fighters would now face the Athenian F-5s in the air over New Guinea, using their own jamming equipment they would target Australian fighters and bombers prior to launching their weapons, sometimes NGTAMs other times Meteor-2s depending on the circumstances. Further attacks on the Australian mainland would be prepared.
