Private, Detectable:

With the apparent final fall of the Kamborian movement, the 1st Mechanized Division would take the final steps to lock down western Papua and destroy the last few remaining caches of WMDs. A small detachment was dispatched to secure the former Grand Papuan space facilities on Biak Island to prevent any Kamborian or Front leaders from attempting to escape to the Republic of Zeon and to ensure rockets that could be weaponized were dismantled.

The Air Force would maintain Predator patrols over New Guinea, but F22 and 2O37 raids slowed then finally ended as the 1st Mechanized finished its task. Humanitarian aid continued to flow into New Guinea through the White Cross to the Stabilization Brigade and neutral groups, and representatives were dispatched to begin distributing it to the Restoration Movement as well.

Public Broadcast:

We are glad to hear the Papuan Stabilization Brigade's words, and would like to invite the Stabilization Brigade and the Papua New Guinea Restoration Movement to send representation to discuss the future of New Guinea. We also extend the offer to Tianxia, Athens, the United States of Oceanesia, and Australia to attend the meeting, which can be held in West Papua for convenience, Manila for security, or another location agreeable to the involved parties if so desired.

OOC: The region would have to explode when I'm busy... <_<
IC:

The United States of Oceanesia heartily endorses the talks proposed by Selenarctos and hopes that all parties will accept the offer - it is an important goal for the USO that peace prevails in this region.
We implore all parties whom are belligerents in the conflict on the island of New Guinea put down their arms and send representatives to the talks proposed by Selenarctos.
Announcement from the Papua New Guinea Restoration Movement

We find it sad that some beings are so willing to enforce their will upon others that they would only recognize those that completely opened, or look at suspicion any organization which deviates from one chosen path. However, we believe that sincerity shall overcome this.

We are willing to acknowledge the Papuan Stabilization Brigade as the main government due to its stability. However, we believe that we also maintain the right to have a say in any future state that is established. As such we shall be sending representation to discuss the future of New Guinea as proposed by Selenactos. We hope that the Papuan Stabilization Brigade will do the same.
Preparations were made, with specific evidence showing that Kamborians were no part of any decisions for the kill teams and the launching of VX missiles.
Diplomatic Dispatch from Tianxia

Tianxia will recognize the Stabilization Brigade as the Sovereign Government of all of the former territories of Grand Papua. I hereby authorize the Foreign Ministry to send a ambassador to them and begin discussions of formalizing de jure relations between our two people. It is my belief that the best course of action now is to have the dispute process move from the military center to the political center. Groups that disagree with the Stabilization Brigade's role as the sovereign government should lay down their arms and hand them over recognizing one cohesive national military. In turn the Stabilization Brigade should transition to a civilian government with control over their military. The Stabilization Brigade should further setup the institutions of a mature government including access to courts, elections, and minority representation in government. Its time to allow for a sovereign nation of New Guinea to flourish without an outside hand directing it.

-Premier Wei Hai
[s]OOC: Waiting on Lavo, but based on his last post I'm assuming the PSB would attend the meeting? To speed things up, consider this to take place after the interested parties have arrived:

Private to those present:

The representative for Selenarctos at the proceedings, Ernesto Salinas, delivered the opening words before opening the floor to the delegations present.

"Thank you, to everyone, for agreeing to and attending this meeting. The people of New Guinea have experienced through a tragedy, with multiple terrorist attacks and a war against those responsible that has only just ended. While our prayers remain with those whose lives have been lost, our thoughts must now turn to the future of New Guinea. Our goals for this meeting are the peaceful resolution of disputes between the Papuan Stabilization Brigade and the Papua New Guinea Restoration Movement. We wish to see New Guinea governed stably and peacefully, but towards this end both movements have the equal support and confidence of the government of Selenarctos. How this meeting proceeds shall rest heavily on you, and Selenarctos shall respect an agreement reached between your two parties, however it is our sincere hope that this can occur without further bloodshed."[/s]

EDIT: OOC: Retconned because this post was based on the mistaken assumption that Lavo would attend.

With the end of hostilities, withdrawal of Australia, cooperation with OU and Tianxian forces, and the dissolution of the Front, the Brigade would find itself with control of most of the island; solely the areas in Bird's Head be in Restoration hands, where Selenarctos was operating. Troops and medics would flock into the "new" Brigade territory, indicated here in orange, in a desperate search for the wounded.

Tianxia forces would hand over sovereignty of the beach heads where they had established. Instead surging forces towards the areas of disputed control, increasing the Tianxia military footprint to 60, 000 consisting of four mountain infantry divisions, one air cavalry divisions, and the four ranger battalions.

OOC: You re-roll groups you lose your territory. What you get for keeping on re-rolling and abusing the system... unless of course you're not completely re-rolling and this is an offshoot of the Kamborians.

The Brigade would face slight resistence as the Movement retreated west in the face of the collaborators. They knew that New Guinea was being sold out, but what could they do when the collaborators threw out their basic identity to be the dogs of the Chinese, the Latins and the Germans? It was hoped that Selenarctos would provide some protection.

OOC: Sorry Triyun, But I'll have to say there has been no abuse. What happens within what was formerly under the Kamborians is under my jurisdiction, even if the ethnic Papuans/Europeans there liberated themselves from the Kamborians. I'll just have to say you're pulling things out of thin air for this.

Furthermore, it seems Lavo ignored the advances of Selenarctos, so change of maps. Sorry for the southern part, forgot to edit it.

OOC: No Kankou its not. Unless again you weren't rerolling. You have two choices, either these are a spin off, or these are a completely new group. If they are a spin off there must be a link to Kamborians. Period.

OOC: In which case they would be under the area that iKrolm controlled, not the ones where Lavo was pressing forward. Lavo's nation is quite large and his claims of advance aren't reasonable as such. I would remind you too surged to full NS in Sweden, this is no different. Further Australia wouldn't even be around.

OOC: So how does the map change from this post to the current situation? Did all former Kamborian territories suddenly went over to Lavo when there were those within that weren't Kamborians? That's a completely strange interpretation that can only be done for some people's convenience.

Public Announcement:

President Diokno announced today the end of major combat operations in New Guinea. While minor border disputes still remain an issue, the President cited the downfall of the Kamborian movement and the end of the Chinese Front as major successes, claiming that neither had the capacity to launch long-ranged attacks any more. Finally, Mr. Diokno committed the Selenarctos White Cross to continue providing aid at the very least until a new government was firmly established, but said that combat troops would begin withdrawing shortly.

Classified:

All soldiers of the 1st Mechanized Division would begin withdrawing from New Guinea. They would be replaced by additional 7th Mechanized who continued to support the White Cross's efforts and provide assistance to civilian populations until they were no longer needed, or the new government asked for them to leave. Deployed naval forces would also return home shortly, along with the F35 teams and all save a handful of Predator C drones that maintained surveillance patrols to keep an eye on any the remnants of the aforementioned groups.

With a stable force on the island and peace returning Athenian forces could return, however before leaving FIA agents would make sure all information on the late Grand Papua's government was retrieved for analysis by the Hellenic Space Agency and potential use. The Brigade was informed of this.

At the same time as the withdrawal happened aid would keep flowing in to provide proper medical care, food and water to the population.

It's a damp, dark room in the middle of nowhere... Such a site would usually be worthy of no mention or significance, but the four men seated in it are the founding members, and by extension leaders, of the Papuan Stabilization Brigade. They originally were around six or seven in number; however a few of them passed on over the course of the gruesome conflict that spawned the group. One of the four, seated at the head of a small rectangular table, speaks up.

"And so the war comes to a close, and now there is another movement out and about." Quickly barging in after leader #1 finishes, leader #3 start talking in somewhat of a rant-like manner.

"They cannot be trusted. Whomever they are, this Restoration Movement originates in former Kamborian territory. Further, they are claiming a right to have a say in the future s-" Cutting him off, leader #2 notes:

"Are we not in favor of democracy and the true will of the people?"

"We are, but that hardly matters in this case. As I was getting at earlier, it would not surprise me in the slightest if this grand movement is nothing more than Kamborian remnants making full use of their collaborators, in an attempt to save their own skin, or worse..."

"If they are as much of a threat as you say they are, what do you propose we do about them?"

"Tell them to join us under the force of arms. We are close to total unification, we cannot let this chance pass us." Leader #3 replies to #2.

"This is absurd! There are millions dead and scores wounded and here you're telling us to march forwards and spill more blood?!?" Leader #4 cries, in rage.

"We have no choi-"

"Yes we do. We can choose not to roll across the border and throw away the lives of our countrymen." #3 says as he cuts #2 off.

"I agree that the Kamborian remnants have liked infiltrated the Restoration Movement, however causing more death will not help things at all." #4 notes. Before anyone else can say a word, #1 gets up, and after a slight pause to allow for the bickering to end, begins speaking.

"Do you all forget the purpose of this group's existance?!? When we originally founded the Brigade, it was a desperate attempt to protect ourselves and our families, to mount a defense against the Kamborians, to stop the endless cycle of deaths, and to create a better home for us all. Three of these goals have been accomplished, and the fourth is in reach. I have an idea, one that may satisfy all sides of this debate. Now, listen here..." For the next number of hours, #1 would explain his idea in depth, leading to a public declaration...

Public
Declaration of Existence of the Republic of Papua

For many days, the island of Papua has suffered enormous calamities, seen waves of destruction, and the loss of millions of lives. Under some sick and twisted ideology, a group of extremists attempted to wipe out many honest and hard working human beings, with nuclear and chemical devices, causing massive long-term damage to the environment in addition to the aforementioned murders. This however, has ended, and as such the Papuan Stabilization Brigade is hereby disbanded, and the Republic of Papua is established. It is a democratic state in which all are welcome, governed by the people, fair and just. The military of the state is currently made up of former Stabilization Brigade fighters and equipment, and further all other Papuan freedom fighting groups are invited to join and become part of the Republic, on the sole condition that they lay down their arms. With this declaration, we all hope to move on past the brutality of the past several weeks, and begin rebuilding our homes and building our future, no matter how many years this will take.
Private

Around the same time as the DoE, Retia Adolf, Grecia Goebbels, Nontsich Himmler, Albert Speer, and other members of the former Germanic Workers' Party, assuming they were alive and in former Brigade territory, would be quietly escorted to a German plane to be extradited for supposedly committing crimes against the German state; they would be given a fair trial under the German legal system.

Tianxia forces would begin transitioning in a total of 100, 000 forces now with, the latest 25, 000 specialized in high forested and insertion campaigning. This had been complemented by the units standard training which included drilling in Burma, Himalayas, and Northern Thailand. The units were also now equipped with the massive aerial and satellite data which had been gathered during the amassing of resources. Complementing them were ultra low observability rotary and fixed wing transport aircrafts, a heavy concentration of electronic jamming and sniffing assets, constantly patrolling low observability surveillance drones, heavy concentrations of CAS drones, and two brigades of helicopter gunships. This was of course in addition to the highly mobile NLOS-LS II tactical missile system which allowed units to provide their own missile-based air support. Additionally two rear line rail gun battalions were amassed, bringing a total of twenty operational batteries, amassed for ranging 450 kilos into enemy lines.

Tianxia forces would begin coordinating with the Stabilization Brigade equipping it with some of the older model helicopters as well as those from the old Japanese, Zargathian, and Cochinese arsenals which had not either been sold off, or scrapped.

Offshore a surface action squadron consisting of 3 battleships, 2 air defense cruisers, 1 destroyer, 2 frigates, and 4 littoral combat ships was now amassed to bring the heavy rail guns to bear on targets off the north coast. Off the south coast, another battleship was moving with 1 air defense cruiser and two littoral combat ships supporting it.

Meanwhile a mobile offshore base had now been repositioned to reinforce Palau, Guam's, and the Imperator II Class Carriers Mao Zedong and Triyun II air sortie generating capabilities for tactical aircraft. Along with this was the deployment of an additional squadron of the new F-3 II Interdictors and redeployment of bombers to closer bases such as the Northern Marianas, Okinawa, and Taiwan, allowing for a higher sortie rate among strategic assets.
Tianxia formally recognizes the Government of the Republic of Papau and is prepared to aid in the now Papau lead military mission. Our forces are now transitioning to a supporting role, with the Republic of Papua governing the country and providing the primary means of national defense and domestic security. Tianxia's mission now shifts to providing concentrated direct battlefield support on targets of critical value. It is our hope that this mission can end peacefully and we will not have to carry out this support mission, however, Tianxia stands ready to aid in doing this.
West Papua

Along with the Selenarctos forces, the Papua New Guinea Restoration Movement finished up the arrest of Kamborians and willing collaborators, putting them under the jurisdiction of Selenarctos for the time being. With the Brigade having stopped their offense, there was enough breathing space for the Restoration Movement to organize themselves, with the implicit goal of becoming a government. A message will be sent to the Republic of Papua for a meeting in neutral territory, such as Manila.

OOC: Unless you're saying my entire military of pitiful worn down troops who just threw off the yoke are wiped, you have no say on what my people do. Furthermore, Lavo hasn't been around Friday when he said he would be, so I'm laying out the foundation of whatever we were supposed to do on IRC.
