Basically, a nation in Anonymous spies Fleegle and is caught, he starts !@#$ting bricks about the possibility of being attacked, and attacks LE while trying to make it look like an Up-declare. Yep, that sounds about right. Not to mention this is the second time you've hit LE (First time was a tech raid). You attacked 3 nations, who have a collective total of 4 nukes & you have 18 with an SDI. All you've done now is Impede LE's growth & as a result stopped the possibility of them being able to go to war & fully recover. Just be happy it was only a sanction. umadphaggot? The dictionary defines "alliance" as [i]"a formal agreement or treaty between [b]two or more [/b]nations to cooperate for specific purposes."[/i] It is impossible for [b]one nation [/b]to be an alliance, the appropriate term commonly used in TE to describe Feegle would be a rogue, or more specifically in his case, a nuke rogue. Sorry, you can't have an "alliance war" when you act alone. It all comes down to choices and consequences IMO - you can choose to rogue, others can choose to sanction. As you say Feegle, it's a war game, and the game includes sanctions. You can't include what you want and disgard what you don't agree with. Sanctions are part of the game, deal with it. As far as you going to "find myself a war" I'm not sure that simple statement fully describes your actions. You avoided war with OP and went to find an easier war. Even as a rogue I doubt you'd be sanctioned if you had attacked 3 big nations, instead you chose a target that had little chance of defending themselves against your actions. Not surprising they reached out for sanction help, and not much surprise they were successful in getting it. It is what it is, get a buddy to make a nation and hook up your TC partners until your mess gets cleaned up, that's the best you can do for your friends. Your actions always have potential consequences - this time it didn't work out so well, fixing it is your responsibility IMO. More war, less waaaaaaaaaa PS: KJ, we need more lols...thanks! It was used as a broad tool by people who dominated a color, at a time where you couldn't switch teams without a devastating economic impact. Weren't the Blue rules a framework for the greater change that took place in TE? They were. They virtually eliminated alliance wide sanctions while reserving the option to sanction the nuclear rogues that hurt the game. Of course, that is imposing our (and by our I mean Team Senators of all colors) own version of morality, but the debate against doing such was lost long ago. This isn't some good ol' boy system as my good friend Fleegle and some others are suggesting. We don't hand out sanctions like its candy. I can't speak for others but Bibs and TPC leadership takes the decision whether to levy sanctions as serious as anything else in TE. People put a great deal of time and effort into their nations on both sides. People with nothing to do with the actions of a sanctioned nation are impacted severely. Making these types of decisions with impunity is not a principle we believe in, period. To date, this is the [b]only[/b] instance where I have encountered second guessing of a sanctioning decision by my Senator and that, I think, speaks for itself. With that... [u][b]I announce that I am creating an exploratory committee for the 1st Office of Black Team Senator, currently held by Secret of Anonymous.[/b][/u] I will take time to pray and consult my family.
