Before I discuss my requirements (I'll get to those), I should offer my qualifications. I am an experienced player who has operated several nations (and a few alliances) since the founding of Cyber Nations and I've been around long enough to see the rise of GATO and to recall some of the earliest wars involving the NPO. I have used this experience to my advantage and have become a formidable adversary in combat who has served in many wars. I am pragmatic with money and have used patience and hard-won good sense to build Mycenae to its current success. I can give a lot to my friends. Now... These are the things I want from an alliance, in order of importance: [b]1) Military Sensibility.[/b] I will fight for you (and I will kick major ass), but please don't go around starting stupid wars. I like building my nation into an economic powerhouse more than fighting on the battlefied. I reserve the right to have nukes. [b]2) Good Trades.[/b] My resources are comparatively worthless (Pigs and Water), but I still want a nuclear-capable, industrial nation that sports Construction, Asphalt, Microchips -- the works. If you can help me work toward that, I'll be your friend for life. [b]3) A Laid-Back Community.[/b] I will sign up for your forums, but I might not sign in every day. If you need me to take on a government position, I will gladly serve, but I do not have much time for ubiquitous roll calls and post quotas. [b]4) Economic Freedom.[/b] I want to build my nation the way I want it to be built. That's all I ask. I don't care about the size of your alliance or its Team color (I will gladly change mine), only its ability to provide the above. Can someone help me? Please? Thanks for reading this! We are also on the blue team, which helps a lot with coordinating Trade Circles. We don't require our members to be active on the forums. As an alliance, TYR and its member nations are not fans of entering wars for stupid reasons. We are careful in who we pick as friends and allies, and our treaties are written carefully. I admit that sometimes it takes a while to complete a trade circle due to personal reasons or silly nations going inactive. TYR has a very laid-back community - I can't say much about this, you have to find out for yourself. We believe that there is more than one way to play and enjoy the game. However, I will say that as an alliance, we do nation audits on all our members, but no one has to follow our advice if they do not want to. Our advice only serves as basic guidelines. New Frontier Posted July 13, 2011 Report Share Posted July 13, 2011 Deinos has a government department led by the illustrious Magister Agricolarum dedicated to the formation of trade circles, as well as developing small nations. We have plenty of advice as to how to build your nation, but it will ultimately be up to you, with the exception of war chest minimums that are absolutely necessary to be competitive in today's CN warfare. Deinos is laid back internally, and are certainly not going around looking for wars to fight in, although we will die on the battlefield if our allies need us to. Beyond that, we don't have much in the way of roll calls, with the exception of (I think) monthly military sign-ins, just so we know how our wartime readiness is coming along. We are a relatively new alliance that has already shown we have potential and passion for CN. As for your requirements: 1.) We do have a great deal of military capability. In the last war we entered via an ODP with our friends at IAA to fight RIA and eventually Sparta. The forces on their front out numbered ours 4 to 1, and yet we still fought to a near stand still and were offered white peace. We have a great deal of older members in CN that have been around and know the ins and outs of the war mechanism and have organized our corps into a fine-tuned fighting machine. 2.) Trades are a specialty of ours, and you're asking at a great time. We're currently trying to organize more Exodus based trade circles, and your resources are actually in demand. We could find you a trade circle rather quickly, and I will personally work on this if you do decide to join our ranks. 3.) We have an awesome community that really treats CN as a game and our members as friends. We have a great time on our forums and IRC, and do have lengthy requirements for our members, just be active and have fun. We have some fun spam games about to kick off, and we discuss OWF topics, and RL politics on top of all the typical alliance communications. In our IRC channel conversation covers a wide spectrum from the best porn sites to rating different types of cars... trust me, it's a blast. 4.) Little more to say then see above. CN is a game, you play how you want. We'll help you if you need it (find trades and tech deals) but we won't force you to do anything.
