Broussard quickly settled in with a round of drinks before witnessing Xuehua's attack on the aide, which caused him to raise an eyebrow. He turned to one of his own aides, and said quietly, "This is why you always act punctually at these events, at least [i]one[/i] of them brings an attack dog, or in this case, an attack sibling." After completing this statement, Broussard quickly raised his glass and uttered, "Bottoms up," and downed the glass of whiskey in a gulp.

After setting the glass down on the bar, he noticed the Eastern Empress of the Athenian Federation mingling with some other guests. He grabbed a glass of wine from a passing tray as he walked over to her, with a polite smile. "Empress Notaras, I do not believe I have had the pleasure of meeting you, despite our two countries' recent Pact, I must say I personally appreciate the support that Athens has afforded us thus far."

Broussard smiled as he grabbed another glass of wine from the same passing tray, "I have read about the Greek Isles and coastline, much different then our own, rocky and rather barren, but a beautiful region nonetheless. One can never have enough alcohol at these parties," he said, raising an eyebrow as he saw a muffin fly and hit a delegate, making sure his next sip of wine was a large one.
