Triyun
Dispatch from the United Federation of the East: Regarding the Conflict in Korea On behalf of the People's of East Asia, August Imperator Jia hereby bestows the medal of East Asian Liberation upon all soldiers from all nations (except Great Britain) participating in the Korean Campaign against the Juche Fascist Regime in Korea. Pursuant to this, the United Federation of the East invites leaders and military commanders from around the world to come to the Imperator's Southern Thailand Resort for a celebration of victory on behalf of the brave men and women who fought in the campaign. Further, the UFE government will be subsidizing two weeks of R&R in South East Asia's beautiful coastal regions for all soldiers of the campaign, and comping the bar tabs at local pubs. We request in addition to all foreign dignitaries who wish to join the Imperator's personal celebration, that a representative from each of the victorious nations attend with the explicit purpose of symbolically receiving the medal on behalf of all veterans from that nation's expeditionary force. Lastly, the United Federation of the East requests that the bill for all funeral arrangements for soldiers of the Campaign be sent to the UFE embassy in your nation, and that we will setup a college fund for children of the fallen as well. KaiserMelech Mikhail
Lieutenant Maksim Trumpledor (yes, he got a promotion for this), will attend as the figurative and literal veteran of Operation Army of One. He has just finished watching the season finale of Hawaii Five-O, and now has much free time before he is required to return to his job as a mild-mannered conductor for Marscurian Siberian National Rail. Lavo
A high-ranking military commander from Dalian, of Korean ethnic background, would attend on behalf of Rebel Army. Rebel Army has also granted the soldiers whom participated in this theater of war time off, to spend as they please, with counseling services offered free-of-charge if requested due to the possibly scarring nuclear bombardments during the war. Owned-You
Private Dispatch to the United Federation of the East
Executor Ding, While New Spain did not have the honor in fighting beside your victorious forces we feel given our recent treaty that it would be a good token of our friendship to make an investment in your general college fund for fallen soldiers. We feel that the men and women of your nation who perished in the line of duty who's families have suffered dearly deserve this token and we would be honored to pay a portion of this bill. If you accept we are willing to give this fund a sum of $50,000,000 dollars to finance these educational bills for this conflict and should their be left over funds future ones. With that all being said, congratulations to you and your men on your victory in the Korean Campaign. Triyun
The resort would be opened up at around 11 am about five days after the invitation went out. A private air strip would be made available for the jets of world leaders. Thousands of UFE soldiers lined the perimeter but within it was quite peaceful with most of the security plain clothed. Jia relaxed, dressed in a lime green linen shirt, faded red pastel pants, and boat shoes. He sat down at the main bamboo open air pavilion, waiting for the guest to arrive. He figured the greetings would take up the early part of the day so he wanted to just get it over with. Leaning back, he popped the bottle cap off of a belgian wheat ale, pouring it into a tall glass and taking a sip, before being struck from behind by Xuehua. "You're drinking! BEFORE NOON!" she said disapprovingly. Jia sheepishly grinned at his sister, he was still not used to having her around, much less being criticized. "Come on its a vacation!" he said. "No excuses." she scolded him. Jia sighed as he waited for the guests to arrive.
Shan Revan
Fortunately the Thai resort the party was hosted was but a day's leisurely trip via boat when passing through the Burmese canal. With the luxury yacht arriving at about 11am local time, they set anchor close to the sure. Arséne Moreau donned his stylish outfit, and dived into the water followed by his retinue. It was rare that he got to take a break and he intended to enjoy it, slowly snorkling into sure. When he finally could stand, he emerged revealing his black wetsuit with a printed dinner jacket and bowtie pattern on it. The red rose in the suits "breast pocket" matched the gaudy red snorkel still on his head and the bright red flippers that quickly became visible as he began to walk. "Yes indeed" Arséne thought to himself "you're looking fiiiine today". It seemed he was the first guest to arrive. Awkwardly he called out to Jia and the woman he was with. "A new lover? That salty dog" he thought to himself before waddling up to him in his flippers. "Hey Jia, good to see you. Who's your lady friend?" Lynneth
Far above the resort, two men stood in the belly of a private jet, one wearing a business suit under a parachute, the other jeans and a blue pullover. A red light was illuminating the cargo hold of the private Sostra Holdings-owned jet. The plane had, after some discussion with flight control, been cleared to dispense its passengers via parachute, provided it landed at the airfield afterwards. A red light changed to green. "Jump." "I hate you," said one of the two as he was pushed out by the other. "I know." was the answer from the other man as he smiled and jumped, as well. Parachuting to a party or celebratio was highly unusual, but some world leaders had done it before - and Alexander simply liked the feeling of free fall. Time passed way too quickly, however, and he had to stop doing maneuvers around the stiff Rocketworth, who felt betrayed. He was a space-nut and didn't like to be at gravity's mercy like this. Their parachutes opened some hundred meters above the ground, and the two men from Ceylon sailed down towards the ground, one landing somewhat clumsily just a few dozen meters away from the Pavilion. A few seconds later, something landed on the pavilion's roof. Shortly after this, Alexander started climbing off the construction. He had abandoned the parachute on the roof, so it would probably stay there until after the celebration, where things would be cleaned up. "Terribly sorry about that parachute, but I can't tell the wind what I want it to do. Yet." Landing on the ground, he walked to Rocketworth to make sure the scientist hadn't hurt himself too badly, then the two walked into the Pavilion. "Thank you kindly for the invitation, Imperator." Centurius
With all the war and conflict in recent time both monarchs were looking forward something different for once. Both jets would arrive quite shortly after the other, Rome being the latest considering it always had been a few thousand kilometers away from Athens. After getting organized for a few minutes they would leave their respective security escorts only having an unarmed personal lieutenant to maintain contact between the Federation and the monarchy. Ariadne walked at a steady pace towards Jia. "Imperator, it is a pleasure seeing you again."
TheShammySocialist
The Cajun Federation opted for a much more subtle arrival, the monarch and his entourage arriving aboard an airliner that bore markings of the Cajun Federation's government. Henri Broussard would arrive with the Marquis de Lafayette, Louis de Lafayette, his sister, a rising star in the Cajun Federation Ground Forces, Brigadier General, the Marquess de Lafayette, Evangeline de Lafayette. Also in attendance were Lieutenant General Marcel Foch, head of the Land Forces' operations arm, the Marquis de Baton Rouge, Jacques-Louis Montcalm, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georgina Pollard. The entourage was guarded by plainclothes elements of Group 62, who would stay nearby at the airport, while the entourage was escorted by a couple of unarmed aides, from both the military and the civilian government. The group would monitor events that were still occurring in Cuba, but were in Thailand to enjoy and also commemorate the effort made against the rogue state of Korea. As was custom for events commemorating the fallen and honoring those who had fought, the entourage wore purple carnations pinned to their shirts or dresses, and would greet their hosts with polite smiles. Broussard led the delegation, and bowed his head slightly upon reaching the Imperator, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, August Imperator. May I present the Cajun Federation's delegation, and extend our thanks for your invitation to this event."
