  1. All we wanted was to help you guys out, but no. Now, you'll see what kind of help you get after you slap the hand extended to you. And for my fellow NATOans with divided loyalties....you'll get some "help" as well.
  2. There was an episode between GUN and VE/OV/SethB when Zenergy left OV. OV/VE/SethB had issues with Zen and Zen had issues with VE/OV. Zen returned to GUN and GUN accepts his side of the story. Rift was never really settled. For more details, you'll have to search the OWF for the original thread covering the issue.
  3. I'd like to thank my GUN comrades, whom have made me proud to wear my AA. There are so many over the years that are worthy of calling out, it's not possible to remember them all appropriately with my tired brain cells. A special thanks to those who have kept GUN going in these last few months. And thanks to our allies in NATO and PnL, next to whom I was also proud to fight. o7 GUN
  4. Thank you all! *looks around* We have finally gotten ourselves onto the fast track with company that will only brighten our future. *still looking* We are on board and look forward to the fabulous ride. *displays a quizzical, but quite dashing expression* I was told there was a beer car. Am I in the wrong car?
  5. Call me old fashioned, but keep the strawberries and give me the beer. o7 TFD & GUN o7
  6. Dammit! Guys, I said SCREW the Constitution, not make a new Constitution. I said tear UP all our treaties, not upgrade them. And I said DUMP the forums, not pump them up. You never listen. Well, I guess we're stuck with this stuff now. o/ GUN o7 NATO o7 our other friends, old and new
  7. Why are there victims falling in line above me and below me, but no victims I can hit? Bunch of pansies. Hey...I have a thought. A new CN organization known as the Panzy Division. Anyone within OrB's range that doesn't face him is a member of the Panzy Division! Face me and lose....you're just a Loser (not atypical). Face me and win...well...that's not likely to happen, so we don't really need a name, do we? Or do you want to be the first to name those that can (hypothetically) match me? Think you got what it takes? Come on. Gimmie what you got, Panzy!
  8. I need another victim...errrr, opponent...in the 40K NS range. Hopefully a fair Tech level (2K), but that's not required. Look me up here: http://globalunitednations.net/forums/inde...?showtopic=9621
  9. Fight Club amounts to two nations agreeing to meet on foreign soil and do battle. There is no threat to the homeland. There is no danger of the conflict expanding. Not everyone signs up for TE and wants to invest that much more time to the this multiverse. Some just want a quick war for some excitement and then be done with it and not worry about it. Fight Club is is ideal for this, keeps things fair and impartial, ensures that nobody's going to be completely destroyed, keeps the peace by limiting the war to the only volunteers and supplies an outlet for nations to settle disputes. Bettor's Lounge adds even more.
  10. Congrats to our Aqua brothers on their many milestones - 3M, 3 Years, 1234 days and...of course...for just being
  11. Congrats on your latest creation, Gabe, may it prosper. Be sure to drop by and open up an Embassy at GUN.
  12. We're well into Fight Club. We've had Round 1 (internally) and are opening things up to a few alliances we're friendly with. There's Gladiators, Bettors and Spectators. Adopt whatever role you like, just have some darn fun! Yes, your nation will suffer some damage if you choose to compete. This is a game. We're supposed to have some fun, right? Why have a natoin in CN if you don't have fun? Some nations beating the snot out of each other (it's almost no holds barred, just nukes and blockades are forbidden) for the entertainment of the smart masses. Nations of any size can compete without fear of ZI, without fear of long term hard feelings. It's also a way for players to gain experience in a fight or to learn from reading the battle reports of the Gladiators.
  13. Yes, this is quite interesting. I was thinking of ordering a cessation of GUN hostilities against Arseanistan under ther circumstances...but I think not.
  14. This is laughable. NPO has made other alliances do EXACTLY this. See Colonel Cooper or your IO's for details....perhaps, try Dilber. If you choose to not to expel them, that's fine and you will get what you get...which is the same you offered to other alliances who were at the mercy of the NPO simply because the NPO was much larger and stronger and you were able to curbstomp those who didn't comply. You targeted GUN, a recently pounded alliance (BLEU-GUN war) and gave us the choice of expelling a member (wrongly, I might add, since it was clear that he was not guilty of what you accused him....but then you didn't want to hear it or negotiate whatsoever) or becoming "an enemy of the NPO". Since first reading this thread, I'd thought the terms harsh. Even overly harsh for NPO. However, it's now clear to me that NPO is only using ploys to retain as much as they can so they can resume their policies once they rebuild. You've learned nothing from the fact that so much of Planet Bob has risen up against you. You've learned nothing from the fact that so many have deserted you. You've learned nothing from the fact that so many have taken so much joy in seeing NPO beaten down. This war was about NPO seeing the error of their ways and realizing that power comes with responsibility, which NPO should wield with wisdom. NPO did not and now suffers for it. It appears that their suffering has not resulted in the aquisition of any wisdom, just the invocation whiny "poor us" excuses, attempts to subvert the point of the war and a complete blindness to the fact that NPO brought the whole thing upon themselves.
  15. Clarification: GUN backed off at the request of Karma, which came almost immediately upon on the issuance of this DoW.
  16. In accordance with our Jaded Gunz Pact (later carried over to OV during the merger), the Global United Nations hereby recognizes a state of war with the New Pacific Order. Signed OrangeBlood - GUN Security Council Zenergy - GUN Security Council Chocolate Cookies - GUN Security Council
  17. I am impressed by the new precedent being set for "Limited War". As one of three leaders for GUN, who has previously suffered a disproportionate punishment for a grave mistake, I laud those who choose to employ this methodology. It is not lenient, but wise. One only has to look to the end of RL WWI to see the seeds of WWII. Tempered punishment can create friends from former enemies and greatly decreases animosity in the post-war environment. Kudos!
  18. We've got some talent there that I expect will get us to 6 quite soon....despite being handicapped by my presence.
  19. You still have friends across Aqua and certainly within GUN. ACV may be no more, but the spirit of our friendship remains. Good luck wherever you land. We know you will succeed there.
  20. A very classy decision. Damn proud to have NATO as our allies.
  21. Classy of IRON to keep to an honrable path even when deceived. Much respect.
