Just took a quick look at 20 of your smaller nations. More than 50% of them had no active trades at all and not one of them was using all of its aid slots. Only two of them seemed to actually be involved in systematic tech deals. Given the continuing rise in tech prices on the black market your alliance nations could be making huge amounts of money just by being semi-active tech dealers. Heaven knows that is hard enough to find reliable tech sellers - this would be a very easy way of helping smaller nations grow.
Nice to see so many familiar faces. Member of GGA from December 06 to September 07 (If I remember correctly) -under two different incarnations. Eventually got 'encouraged" to leave. Now with Zenith (with Imatt).
Asbestos lowers infrastructure costs by 30% but 1% of your population dies every second turn. Your population also starts suing you after you have crossed 5000NS, draining your treasury a random amount of up to 2 million each turn.
Labor Camp swapping will help as will more economic wonders. I would also recommend improving your population density by buying some more land - without water your pop density might be a bit high. You might also benefit by reducing the number of border walls but that is best figured out using trial-and-error.
Pretty uncool of you to first mess around this trade circle like you did and then try to get people to leave this circle.
Edit: Still happy to be in this trade circle once all the members are in but I need to find better trades than this until then.
Correct. Buying 3000 tech (via tech deals) is much much cheaper than buying the 5000 infra that gets you from 5000 infra to 10 000 infra.
Assuming that the goal is to increase NS a medium sized nation is much better off buying as much tech as possible via tech deals than simply spending every penny on infra.
So does that mean that it would be safe: the laptop would simply register the IP that the now-dead desktop used to have???
Sorry for still being confused
I have read the stickies here: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=5474 but am still confused.
My wife and I both play the game - I from work while she uses our home computer. The computer died (permanently) a couple of days ago and will probably not be replaced for a couple of weeks. I have a laptop that I have occasionally used to log into my nation when traveling. My question is this: can she use the laptop from our home internet connection to log into her nation or will that get both of us deleted?
Sorry about my IP-related ignorance.
