They would if they felt that agent could be useful in the future for better and "juicier" intelligence. Their main goal as an organization should be to protect their own organization first and foremost, not the careless dissemination of any and all intelligence via a well known publication like TWiP. You can't release the information if you don't have the information in the first place, after all.

Congratulations on the counterop. Very well done. However, you do know that this also has the unfortunate side effect of giving far more credence to Schatt and Vox when they say they have intel but can't post it in TWiP, in order to protect the safety of their agents? The net result may just be another few issues of TWiP being proclaimed as "boring" and long threads that are full of sniping back and forth rather than discussing anything relevant.

I don't know why people are making a big deal out of this. If they want to have some fun, let them have some fun. If they really cared about politics or discourse or any other serious parts of Planet Bob, there would have been no war in the first place. OOC: People forget that this is inherently a game. I only sought to clear up the misinformation Shilo was espousing and we can agree to disagree on my interpretation, considering they were based upon all the logs of the situation and fact checked by those who have seen all the logs and/or were present at the conversations. However, I'll respect your request.

That's what exactly happened. ODN was belligerent towards VE at the beginning alongside accusing them of extortion and faking logs. VE then retaliated with their own belligerence. Perhaps you should ask your government for full logs, considering you seem to be under misguided beliefs.

Considering I've seen every one of the logs involved in the incident, including Proximus's logs, I'd say your analysis of the situation is quite off. The actual situation was involving the USA-Int merger. Int talked to OV about potentially letting USA off their terms earlier so they could merge. They came to an agreement to cut the terms down to 400 tech on their end, however, Int never talked to VE about the merger and got their agreement. Later, after Int talked to VE, both parties agreed that the merger would be possible and that on their end, the terms would be cut down to 750 tech in 3m/100 deals. That makes for a grand total of 1150 tech, down from an original total of 1500 tech. When the situation appears finished, ODN comes and accuses VE of extortion, saying VE was present at the original conference between Int and OV, saying they agreed to 400 tech. However, logs confirm that there was no VE representative present in the first conference between OV-Int. ODN then accuses VE of faking logs and were belligerent towards VE. Proximus, the ODN secretary of defense, then threatens VE in another conversation with a third party. After numerous conferences, some blustering and belligerence by both sides, and allies trying to mediate, the situation gets resolved as we know it. An apology by Craig and later VE apologizes for their part in the diplomatic faux pas.

Not at all actually. All the intelligence were from respectable sources, some of whom have requested their privacy. Of those who actually know the truth, we weren't the only alliances planning on rolling LoFN. The others, however, were busy with another war at the time and gave intelligence concerning the matter to Ephriam Grey. Not to mention the basic fact that Ephriam Grey didn't gather any intelligence at all, Lord Boris did. Unless you're accusing a respected TORN member of forging evidence back in the day?

It's really a shame to see what has happened to shaneprice. All he did was want to change the GGA culture for the better and to be kicked for that? Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful.
