I was involved in a tech deal with another nation in my alliance. I accepted an aid package of 50 tech from him on the 26th. His nation was deleted today and the aid offer is showing as cancelled and I can bin it and use the slot again. I can't recall my exact tech level so have no idea whether the tech has been taken from me. So, if anyone has experienced similar, or mods could explain I'd be greatful.

I was netting 11 million a day, Navy upkeep has taken 1mil of this. They aint cheap when you have 30 of them. If I had Subs they would be even more expensive!

Tech also has a marginal benefit on infra upkeep reduction. In turn it will also improve battle odds and allow you buy bigger naval vessels

Indeed! I went from 10,000,000 gross income to about 230,000. The logic of coal/nuked enviro damage is a completely pointless issue.

I've not read the whole thread from the start, but I dont have that much land for a nation my size, and if I hadn't come to the forums and seen this thread I would have not realised the environment had changed. I've not noticed a drop in my income at all - and I don't have a perfect environment... Can't see how all these people are saying they have lost double figures worth of happiness points.

1,120 citizens. 87 infra = 12.87 citizens per infra level. 5*100 for 3 million tech deals over 20 days will make about 7.5 million. 20 days of bills to pay with no infra upkeep. 7.5 million on infra, will result in 1,284 infra levels 1284 x 12.87 citizens per level 16525 citizens lets say, what, $60 tax per citizen with all income improvements still in place 16500 * 60 * 20 (19 if you do not want to risk deletion) 19,800,000 for the 20 day back collection. 1033 infra purchased 2317 infra 2317 * 12.84 = 29,000 Only now would infra camps be even remotely useful. Destroying the income improvemnts would hurt a lot more.

I'm confused, very confused. I seem to remember way back in the days before I had a GT / GM that the next available change date was listed as 3 days after the last time you changed one of them. I haven't changed my Government since January (and that was only because I was nuked and I don't recall changing my Religion since about October. The next available change date for Govt is 4/9/2008, and for Religion 4/21/2008. This would suggest I have changed them both in April. Anyone else show such a discrepancy. I know it doesnt really matter as I won't be changing them anyway, just thought it was a little odd.

Right. This is the last post I am going to make in this topic, I would far rather spend my time introducing my head to the proverbial brick wall. Nations have gained 3000NS for having 20 nukes. 5% NS strength has dropped That can only mean that nations lost more than 3000NS from their military. Therefore many of the top 5% was already maxed out on military. You wouldn't have caught them maxing out on military (or you would have and been nuke capable and we wouldnt be hearing you whinge) So, as is fair, you have to catch them on real, genuine economic growth rather than a massively false strength rating that has been fixed. Thread could have been 10+ pages shorter if this was said sooner

Black. I am at 2.1% I have NO nukes I have lost 2,000NS as a result of the change. I WAS at 2.3% I GAINED places despite having no nukes. Despite having no nukes and being surreounded by nuclear capable nations. YOU need to understand what you are talking about. As has been pointed out already - your 1200-1400 figure is well off.
