  1. During the whole walk from outside to the family room the emperor's aides monopolize his time, asking for orders, or reporting information from the Kremlin. As they enter the family room the tension between the two can be cut with a knife. It's difficult to concentrate with the world falling down around them and the threat of nuclear annihilation in the back of their minds. On the opposite side of the room near a window is a table. On the table is tea, sugar and cream. Justinian walks over to the table, but instead of pouring any tea he takes a Makarov pistol and a combat knife from his jacket and places them on the table. He looks at Motoko and sighs, "It's a dangerous world we live in."
  2. With assistance from imperial troops, local police are slowly but surely restoring law and order to Baltic cities. Riga and Vilnius have been classed medium risk cities, the government doesn’t believe there is any immediate danger of nuclear fallout reaching them. Tallinn and St. Petersburg however are classed high risk and need to be evacuated immediately. The Imperial Armed Forces are ordered to evacuate every city and town within a 300km radius of the nuclear blast. The only problem in their way are the riots still going on. In Tallinn riots still engulf most of the city. Civilians in the streets have engaged in several fatal fights, set dozens of vehicles and buildings on fire, and stolen thousands of roubles worth of merchandise. In contrast the evacuation of St. Petersburg is going smoothly, aside from small traffic jams and the occasional outbreak of road rage To quell the riots police are given clearance to use non-lethal force to neutralize threats, and make arrests. Police are equipped with riot armor and shields to protect them from rioters. They also have tear gas and taser guns. In addition their firearms are loaded with non-lethal rounds. Police are determined to return order to the cities by any means necessary.
  3. You're absolutely right Sargun. I don’t know how I didn't see it earlier.
  4. The Slavorussian Empire does not approve. The Mascurian Empire has never harmed anyone and is one of the only respectable nations left in the world today.
  5. That makes no sense. If I said 2+2=5 I wouldn't want Mercy to tell you that I did the math wrong. I'd want him to tell me.
  6. Mercy, banning from the map sounds a lot different than forcing someone out of the rp. Sargun, how more toned down can I get? I think it's a bad ruling and I said so. I told him being a GM is going to his head because it is. The way Mercy talks sometimes, it leads me to believe he thinks he's better than the rest of us. I'd like to see him change his attitude a little.
  7. I have a problem with this. You can't just force people out of the rp. This is what I mean when I said being a GM has gone to your head. This is outside your powers as a GM. The mods wouldn't even pass a ruling like that. Anyway since a nuclear weapon was detonated so close to my northwestern territory I'm going to rp nuclear fallout in that area.
  8. Let's all remember the use of nuclear weapons in the south pacific on Sumer and in South America. All the people not involved in those rp's didn't rp nuclear winter even though there were a lot of nukes used in both those wars. The same should apply now.
  9. ooc: None of you are using ooc tags, shame on you! Furthermore why not just start a brand new fresh topic in the ooc area where there is much fun and merriment to be had.
  10. I'm not entirely sure they can do that. They surely cant force you out of CNRP. It's obvious Mercy has let being a GM go to his head, and i personally feel that some of his and Sargun's rulings are bullcrap, but I dont say anything because its illegal to have an opinion around here. Having said that. I don’t foresee nuclear winter. Some people are saying this is just the beginning, but because the war has been on hold for 2 days so the GM's can calculate the latest nuclear bombardment, I think people will think first before they launch more nukes.
  11. Because of the volatile war happening in Europe the Imperial Guard has detailed highly secretive plans for the Estovakian Empress’ trip to Slavorussia. When her helicopter entered Slavorussian airspace it would be escorted to Samara, instead of Kazan, as previously indicated. In Samara news of her arrival had somehow reached the citizens and they clamored outside the air force base hoping for a glimpse of the Empress. From Samara the Empress Kusanagi is put on a small private jet, accompanied by several Imperial Guardsmen, and flown to Nizhny Novgorod. From there it’s a straight shot by train to the small town of Novolikeevo. Just outside Novoliekeevo is a small estate where the emperor is currently staying while he passes through the area. It’s not his estate it’s owned by a wealthy businessman from St. Petersburg, who was kind enough to let the emperor stay there on his trip. The main building on the grounds dulls in comparison to the Imperial Palace, but its by no stretch of the imagination plain. The two story cobblestone house not only houses the emperor, but his whole bodyguard detail and personal staff comfortably. Behind the house is a magnificent view of a small lake and the snowy hills in the background. Oddly, the empress’ motorcade arrives at the exact same time as the emperor’s. As the cars meet the Imperial Guard escorts the emperor and empress into the house to the family room where tea has been prepared.
  12. You’re gonna need a lot more dust Tahsir. In most of those cases the dust and smoke are local. It would take city after city after city being nuked to jumpstart worldwide nuclear winter. At least that’s the conclusion I’ve come to.
  13. I just wanna point out to all the drama queens out there that there is currently no threat of nuclear winter. For once I actually decided to do some looking around so I would know how to rp during nuclear winter, but there would have to be thousands of nukes dropped on a huge number of major cities in order to cause a nuclear winter. Nuclear winter isn’t caused by just detonating a few bombs or even a few thousand bombs. The cause if the burning of large cities, and the smoke and debris being distributed into the sky. Since there have been only a handful of nuclear detonations over cities the most damage we can expect right now is widespread nuclear fallout in central Europe. Right now the causes would be, after the initial loss of life at ground zero, heath problems caused by the radiated particles traveling though the sky and being deposited in other areas. Crops and food stocks will be unsafe to eat, famine will hit Europe. I also maintain my position that North + South America, Central + Southern Africa, Australia and the majority of Asia wont feel any short term effects, The devistation is mainly contained in central Europe and eastern Europe. Most likely maximum fallout will reach as far as Moscow, but even at this point that’s somewhat unlikely. Now remember I’m not an expert on nuclear weapons, fallout or nuclear winter, but these are the conclusions I’ve drawn from looking around, mostly on wikipedia. Thoughts?
  14. ooc: do you have a country yet? Because this is getting kind of old.
  15. Triyun started CNRPR, but he didnt launch nukes first. Your buddy Martens turned the war into a nuclear brawl. Edit: Nvm I misread what you posted the first time.
  16. Once in Kazan Empress Kusanagi would board one of three Slavorussian luxury jets. Two of the jets would be used as decoys flying in different directions. The empress' jet would head towards Nizhny Novgorod, and from there she will take a train to the emperor's estate.
  17. The Andonians were not civilians, they were murderous thieving pirates. Additionally President DeSchaine should take note of the fact that Slavorussia does not believe such excessive force should have been used against the Hansa. Slavorussia still supports the cause to rid evil from Europe chiefly the Gebivan government who started this nuclear war. We have however amended our methods to suit the present political atmosphere. This violence must stop before the whole continent is encased in eternal darkness.
  18. I was drifting in and out of the conversation on IRC, so I probably did misquote you, but I’m sure someone used that number.
  19. His Majesty's guard believe it to be unsafe for the emperor to travel to Estovakia. The Empress is welcome to come to Kazan and the Imperial Guard will transport her to the emperor's location.
  20. We have no doubt His Holiness had a gun to his head when he agreed to such an agreement. ooc: thanks KM I was looking for the pic of the nuke exploding for a long time now. Im gonna make it my background.
  21. I'm in favor of continuing it. Although I think mercy's calculations are way off. I would say Europe is going to be greatly damaged, and millions of lives will be lost. Since alot of nukes are flying towards the RA there's gonna be just as much devastation to the Middle East, and possible Eastern Asia when Lavo retaliates. the Western Hemisphere, Central and Southern Africa, and Australia shouldn't feel any immediate effects of the nuclear war, but the whole world will feel the long term effects. We are not looking at global extinction, mercy said something like 75% of the world is already dead... no. That number is way to exaggerated. One thing I will not do is whitewash the whole rp just because of one nuclear war. Maybe after the third or fourth one I'll change my mind, but not now.
  22. A war is being fought in central and northern Europe. One that threatens to destroy the civilization as we know it. Already there have been over two dozen nuclear launches all aimed at Europe and western Asia. The nuclear explosion in the Hansa threatens to spread nuclear fallout to Slavorussia’s Baltic provinces, threatening almost 7 million lives. Fear grips the citizens in Northwestern Slavorussia, then panic. The scene of Slavorussian citizens frantically try to flee the cities can only be described as chaotic. Anarchy appears to have gripped the Northwest. In the provincial capitals of Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn are engulfed by riots as those who are unable to leave the city loot and pillage their once great cities. Law enforcement officials do their best to maintain law and order, but the wave or rioters proves to be too much for them to handle. Rioters break store windows and steal the goods, they flip over police cars and set them aflame. Molotov $@tails are hurled into government and private buildings setting them ablaze. Provincial governors declare martial law. The imperial government declares the empire to be in a state of emergency, and dispatches 25,000 imperial troops to the area to restore law and order. The soldiers will also coordinate the evacuation of the Northwest and ensure it is done as quickly and smoothly as possible. In the Muscovy Imperial Military District (Moscow) the military is put on high alert. The Imperial Guard evacuates the royal family, Prime Minister Kolesnikov and Deputy PM Beylakov, as well as several high ranking Slavorussian MP’s. The government gives the order to open up all bunkers to the public, including the ones under the parliament, imperial palace and the Kremlin Fortress. Similar actions are taken in all major Slavorussian cities. Slavorussia’s withdrawal of support will surely anger those aligned against Gebiv, but in times of darkness one looks to take care of his own first, then he seeks to help others. Slavorussia now hoped to preserve the government and defend the citizens from annihilation. While millions of Slavorussians leave the cities, they look and wonder if they will ever come back again. They know the next time they see their homes, they may be looking through the visors of radiation suits.
  23. Slavorussia warns Estovakia that it is inviting a nuclear attack by the Germans. At the same time Slavorussia warns Germany that if Estovakia is attacked with nuclear weapons there will be no mercy. Furthermore Slavorussia withdraws its statement of support and closes its borders to all belligerents in this now apocalyptic war.
