<Public> Today the Advisory Body brought up a proposal to President Marxon for the new capital building; it's a skyscraper. The California Broadcasting Station reports. Today in the advisory meeting, the proposal was brought up to President Marxon showing a huge skyscraper- one of the largest in Los Angeles- planned to be constructed. According to rumors, the California Council did not support the idea, yet according to other rumors, Marxon loved the idea. As an Architecture Major, Marxon likely both liked and critiqued the design and architecture of the building. Proposals for the name include: Marxon Tower, Herald Tower, The Gerald A. Herald Tower, Remembrance Tower, Capital Tower, and California Tower. Which one will be used, and if any at all, is still unknown, however it is likely you will see lots of movement in the area. <Private> California sends troops to secure Arizona as protectorate and soon-to-be-annexed. On another note, California is beginning to prepare to enter the Plains Federation-Texas War, fighting alongside Texans.

The loyalists, facing severe casualties, kidnapping of their president and infiltration of their capital, would surrender to the Separatists and form a new Californian State, under a government in which is called a Revised Republic. Grand Duke Roeme, also known as David Marxon, sent a message to the Imperium.

The RP: David Marxon sat in his desk chair comfortably as he waited for the next report. Well, when saying comfortably, it is referring to as comfortable as you could be in Los Angeles. He was in the best-looking room in the building, and when his door was knocked on, he yelled for the person to come in. The man entering was Joseph Deuteronomy, senator and his newest commander. "Sir, when is the senate meeting, am I late?" He asked. Marxon looked am Joseph for a moment, then smiled. "Well, you see, there has been a change in the plans." He hesitated for a moment, as if thinking of what to say next. "Well, why create a parliament, that will be no more different than a senate? All it will do is slow us down, just as the California senate has. So..." He paused for a moment, than stood up and began slowly stepping around and in front of the commander. "The parliament is no more. I am now supreme commander of the Grand Duchy of the East Pacific, and you will refer to me as Grand Duke Roeme, which is my French last name, from which my ancestors faught bearing in the French Revolution. It is an honor to bear the name. Do you understand, General?" Deuteronomy looked puzzled for a moment, then stood up straight. "Yes, sir." Roeme smiled. "Good. now let's wait for our air forces to send the Californians into full retreat. Meet in the conference room in 10 minutes with the rest." The general stepped out of the Grand Duke's room, and laughed a little. "General! It's about time." and made his way to the conference room. Surprisingly, none of the military leaders cared that Roeme had just claimed himself supreme ruler of the new California. Luckily, thanks to the help of the United Caribbean States, they already basically had all of the State of South California. "Ok, men. You are the best leaders I have, so I want all of you on this. We need to focus our energy on sending troops to the south, and sending them north to claim West California. Central California has already announced they are with us, so if we can get half of the entire nation within the first month of battle. The problem is because we are spreading out, the amount of available forces are going to be cut in half, even with support from Central California. The rest of the war is going to be tough, with limited forces, but it is not about how many troops you have, but how you use them. Dismissed!" Roeme got the entire meeting done within those couple minutes, and was happy that he was being efficient. This, however, was not the end of the battle in LA. The California Republic would send a very important message out, for both the loyalists and the separatists. It announced a war for the loyalists, and recognition for the separatists. By Popular Choice of the People, and Under the New Flag of the California Republic, ]The California Republic has long expected a revolt like the one seen in recent days, but the California Republic is not prepared to give up a nation so important to the well-being of North America, the Pacific, and the World as a whole. As such a choice has been decided upon by the people of the California Republic, long may it reign, and our guarantee of Democracy for the people of the nation, the separatist group gives us no choice but to instill war upon our own people that we have fought so hard to protect. And by approval of Kevin Collie, 3rd President of the California Republic, we hereby point our arms at ourselves in an attempt to protect you, the people of the California Republic. The continued attacks on the city of Los Angeles, or any other city, will not be tolerated by the California Senate or House of Representatives, and any and all men or women involved with the enemy will be charged with crimes against the people of the California Republic, as well as spend the remainder of their worthless life behind a cell door.

The Response: The California Republic was the first to notice UCS hostility, and quickly sent a message. Word then spread to WAPF. The RP: Deuteronomy was both surprised and thrilled to see foreign support assisting the separatist forces in the air. Now that there was assistance, the WAPF air forces would enter back into LA Air Space and engage loyalist forces. On the ground, the forces were determined to reach the building. However, currently in the air, a squad of fighter's were in the air attempting to bring all of LA air space into separatist hands. "Yes, sir we have entered LA. Loyalists are to the left." The squadron then took a tight turn in the direction of the loyalist fighters and began commencing attack. "Evasive maneuvering!" Were the words from the squadron commander, who attempted to sound as fearless as possible in a situation that everyone should be shaking harder than if they had hypothermia. Their battle in the sky would take about 5 more hours to finish. Meanwhile, the Blue Squadron of the loyalist Air Force was being commanded by Carson Johnson, who before the separatist's attack spoke to his fighter's about the upcoming battle. "Ok, wings, pay attention because I will only say this once. Separatist Air Force is going to come in from the west, attack with a small amount of fighters, and then later send in reinforcements from the south. We want to push back the separatist forces to the west without triggering their reinforcements. Basically herd them like you are a border collie. Any questions? Good, then let's prepare." He was confident that the small separatist force would be unable to defeat a force with almost twice as many people. Johnson then got an incoming message. "Yes, admiral?" He asked. "Hello commander. I feel that you need to know that former California Representative Kevin Collie has been elected interim President until we defeat the seps. Your orders will come straight from him now." was the Admirals rather brief but complicated message. "Understood" was all the commander felt was necessary. Do your job now, ask he questions later was his motto.

The Sides: Western American Parliamentary Federation: The WCPF is the Rebel movement based in Los Angeles fighting against the California Republic and it's people. The partially-recognized state is headed by an Emperor and assisted by the advisory senate known as the Parliament. The Emperor is the former president of the Republic, David Marxon. This group also has a small group of former senators and representatives acting as his advisory body. California Republic: The California Republic is the official, sovereign nation that encompasses all of California and has Nevada as a Protectorate. It is a republic and is headed by an executive, judicial, and legislative branches that are supposed to balance the power. The WAPF claims that it is corrupt and ineffective, unable to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. They fail to get outside support. The RP: It was a rainy day today across the streets of a occasionally beautiful city. This was not one of those times. People would huddle inside as the gunfire between the two sides continued throughout the day and throughout the night. The people felt awful, however both sides believed that they were liberating the citizens of this city, and that they would soon be grateful. But the people huddled inside their houses having their ear drums tortured didn't think so. They wanted both sides to leave them alone. Joseph Deuteronomy was a parliament member and commander of WAPF forces in Los Angeles. Their mission was simple: Drive California forces out of Los Angeles and secure it as WAPF land, as well as the capital of the Federation. Possibly the hardest job for him was distinguishing the WAPF forces from the Californians. He brought a squad of troops up to the Los Angeles capital building, and went in, clearing the building. Him and "Shadow Squad" as he called them broke the windows and set their rifles down in the sill, sniping out enemies. Deuteronomy called in to a helicopter in the air a few miles away. "Your Majesty, I have just taken Building 2056, the Capital Building." on the other end was David Marxon, the claimed Emperor of WAPF. He responded. "Good work Joe. Rendezvous with the rest of the troops at the following coordinates." A couple of seconds later, a couple of bleeps went off and he went by himself to the coordinates. At the rendezvous, the commander stood up straight and spoke confidentially to his troops. "Listen up! These orders come straight from the Emperor. We are going to get on top of building 432, 50 degrees to our left, and the tallest building in Los Angeles. Once we reach the top, we are going to stake the WAPF flag on the top. Only 7 of us will go on the top. Keep in mind, we will have very little Federation air support, so we are not sure how safe if will be. It is possible foreign support will come in, but there have been no confirmations." The troops marched down to the building, and Deuteronomy saw the problem. When they became a mile away from the building, he received a notification that Republic forces had taken the air space over LA, and it was possible that Federation air support would be none. This would make it almost impossible to succeed. He understood his mission, and continued to advance.

<Public> President David Marxon of the California Republic, and former Vice President to Gerald Herald, has recently resigned from the office of President after he made several claims about the Republic an it's government. The news was surprising to the entire nation as they thought he was fully committed to carrying out Herald's wishes. The recent announcement he made in Los Angeles was the following- "Hello. I am not President David Marxon. Today I come to you as Emperor Marxon of the Western American Parliamentary Federation. I ensure you the city of Los Angeles is under safe occupation, and the WAPF is completely stable, and prepared to liberate the California Republic. My message to the Senate of the Republic is simple: We are at War. This is for the best interests of the people of California, and for the nations that occupy the surrounding area. I hope foreign nations come in and assist the Federation in liberating California. God Bless the Federation!" What is this sudden fire in David Marxon? He used to be a shy politician who did almost nothing, but had an amazing reputation. Now that tables have turned. Is it a bluff when he says that other nations will come in to support him? Whatever the case, it is safe to assume California will not respond very peacefully and will treat this as an act of terrorism instead of an actual rebellion.

<Public> In the United States of America, their were the original 13 Colonies. These began a great nation. Similar to that, the Six Cailfornia's Proposal to create 6 states has been put into place, and the original 6 states are now South California, West California, Central California, Silicon Valley, North California, Jefferson. Originally Jefferson was supposed to take up some of Southern Oregon, however Cascadia refused to sell the land and now it only encompasses Northern California. The interesting point is that this is not a new proposal, this is proposal made around the year 2012 to separate the state of California into 6 new states. Only a short announcement was made by the government by the topic, and it was sent by letter. "You are currently living in <state they now live in>. For more information on this topic, go online to california.gov. Sincerely, California Senate" The plan from here is likely simple: Hold County, City, State, and Federal elections on the same day to avoid confusion. The new counties and states will elect their officials, and the people will choose between Green Austin(Republican), Richard Kelly(Democrat), and Gregory Baegal(California Taxpayers' Party) for president. These elections are crucial, depending on which party gets majority, we might do anything from rebuild to attack Baja California. It just depends on which party has the popular vote. A quick update on the search for Herald's killer, the, according to rumors, have discovered the identity of the culprit and are now just attempting to hunt them down. This was a breaking update.

PUBLIC Chaos ensued in California. People begged for an attack on the UCS because of the lies spoken. The government would remain as silent as they said they would be. The rescued Baja Californians would be given Unemployment Benefits until they found a job, and Social Security would also be given. If people thought they were kidnapping, they needed to open their eyes.

<Public> The last known announcement from the California Republic government was made Tuesday as David Marxon discussed the Baja issue, however this time sounding different. Perhaps it was the threat of foreign invasion, or perhaps it was simply the plot of something larger. As we had known, Marxon had every plan to remain in Baja to support the legacy of Gerald Herald, however following evacuation, it seemed as though the government was absent. "We have long suspected through the past days that a foreign invasion was imminent, and that our friends in Baja California would soon be taken away and brought into Texas. What was not anticipated was the hostility of the United Caribbean and their claiming to have Baja protected by the Marco Doctrine. Rest assured, as the California Government is aware that the UCS is obviously planning something bigger. Obviously, something said by President Herald at the Halifax Conference gave UCS a clue about how to achieve something. The variables have not yet been replaced, however we have found Gerald Herald's notes from the Conference and we are prepared to closely examine them and discover the truth behind the Doctrine. The foolish and unexpected move by the UCS shocked the entire Senate, and someone obviously messed up and allowed some vital information to slip. What we are aware of, however, is that Texas is likely just as aggravated about this situation as we are, and we are ready to take action. We will make sure you, the people, are fully aware of the situation at hand and make you aware of as much information as possible. God Bless California." Cooperation with Texas? Blaming the Senate? Prosecuting UCS? Does this sound like the David Marxon determined to protect Baja California at all costs? No, and we are sure that there is a larger scheme going on here that We the People are not being made aware of. We all know the elections are happening next month, so could that have an effect on the absence of a federal government in California? What we were made aware of, however, was made through a brief coded message sent through California on restricted channels. <Public> After a couple days the government began to pop back up, however did not release any public announcement for a while.

Dude seriously? What in the name of anything went on here? IC/OOC crossing was not happening with me or David, so unless a different issue is being discussed... And PD, while I'm here, Baja is yours. Sorry for the troubles. There's always Nevada if you want it. There is the situation of us fighting just for UCS to claim it, and I would be willing to back you up in that debate

No response would be given to the Imperium's request, and there would be radio silence. All communications throughout and to the outside were blocked off, and nobody on the outside, or inside, would know what was going on. On the inside, and what the outside was unaware of, was that loud alarms were going off signaling people to get into secure shelters. Some people were loud, others were silent, but either way they were not able to be heard or seen from the distance, just looking like a normal day in California. However, it was true that something else was going on here, yet, with no way to discover what exactly was happening. The evacuation gave the government time to consult and figure out what was to happen. People sat in safe bunkers and shelters for hours...and hours...and hours. It would be 18 hours until anyone was was aware of what was going on, excluding the government. However, by the time 18 hours was reached, the nations of the world were most likely smart enough to discover that something was going on. Not a single plane had flown overhead. Not a single discussion on the radio. Not a single message from the California Government. Even in Baja California, the same actions were taking place. Not even a boat had gone by them since. What was going on? Well, at hour number 18, California woke back up. California woke up unaware of what had happened. Yet, the tables had seemed to have turned, as all government buildings were abandoned. Still, no response. It would likely take the foreigners to realize, but they would soon discover that Baja California was abandoned. Only some citizens, but not near as many as before. No, it seemed as if both the government and 30-45 percent of the Baja citizens had gone missing. Under further examination, it would be discovered that almost 95 percent of the missing people had recently gotten California Citizenship.

"Sir, the Treaty is completed. We have just been trying to get Texas to cease fire long enough to sign it. we are trying here. We are trying our hardest to bring this to peaceful end, while everyone gets what they want. I am trying my best to stay respectful here, you must understand the situation we are faced with."

David Marxon- They would be open to questions, with respect, as they wanted to find any way possible to bring the nations to better understand what they were doing and why. They wanted to be sure not too many alliances were hurt in the process of attempting to claim Baja California, as that would be a serious problem.

TO PLAINS: "For a while now Texas has showed their utter stupidity, And it the cause of riots and chaos across the nation. California shows it's support to the Plains Federation, but for right now will not join the conflict unless Plains requests so." TO TEXAS: A short message would be sent to Texas "California says good luck."

PUBLIC In case you were wondering, the Treaty was going to be your little 50/50 plan. Look what happens when you don't have patience.

PUBLIC David Marxon, President, understood that they had said many times that they did not want to use aggression, yet the nation's of the world did not listen. In fact, he decided to count. If the plain evidence was not enough for any nation to see, the Californians did not know what was.

Ill take it that is a no? You put more effort into it than you really had too. I take it as an offense, as for the record, I believe Welfare should never have been put into place. You know, if you want me to leave this game, just say it, because at this point I could dig that.
