  1. Ambassador Dmytro Koszyk would be assigned o represent Ukraine at the Ukrainian Embassy in the United Workers Republics.
  2. Public With the Ukrainian Constitution now ratified, both the Provisional Government and --in it's final vote before formally disbanding -- the Constitutional Committee have passed two simultaneous and unanimous votes formally declaring that on this date each year, will be a national holiday known as Independence Day.
  3. Public The Constitutional Committee has today passed three important votes. The first passed vote was that Ukraine will be switching to a parliamentary republic form. The second passed vote was to formally ratify the 1996 Constitution again -- with the one new amendment added above -- as their newest Constitution. The third passed vote grants the Interim Provisional Government the power to negotiate and sign Non-Aggression Pacts and Trade Pacts, as well as the power to both grant embassies and to request embassies. In other news, parliamentary elections will be held in two weeks.
  4. Public The Ukrainian Provisional Government was appointed this morning, and has announced that while formal alliance negotiations will most likely be left until after the more formal government has been put into place, that Ukraine is looking forward to strong relations with it's neighbors. On another note, the Constituional Committee has agreed by a 2/3 vote to largely reinstate it's 1996 Constitution as the law of the land. The Committee is still in the process of debating whether Ukraine should stay a federal republic, or switch to a parliament. This landmark decision means that Ukraine should have a formal Constitution back in place very soon and elections will likely be held within a few months.
  5. *Ukraine's Provisional Government didn't have any problems with the very reasonable terms, signing for everything but the Frienship Treaty, which it assured the USSR that they would negotiate in a separate deal.*
  6. Public Yesterday, all Ukrainian oblasts were granted the right to hold individual Oblast referendums on independence from the USSR, and today the official results of those referendums was released, with all but Donetsk Oblast, Luhansk Onlast, and Crimea, voting tor independence from the USSR and once again joining together as an independent, sovereign Ukranianian nation. Ukraine is already in the process of setting up both a Constitutional Comittee and interim Provisional Government to govern Ukranian until a new Constitution is in place and -- most likely -- national elections have been held.
  7. Ukraine Declaration of Existence After several months of Ukraine's populace petitioning the USSR to allow for a referendum on independence, yesterday it finally happened, and the USSR allowed all of the Oblasts of Ukraine to independently hold it's own referendum on the matter. The population of Ukraine showed up to the referendum in record numbers, and the results have just moments ago been released. Every Oblast save for three -- Crimea, Luhansk Oblast, and Donetsk Oblast, which voted to remain in the USSR -- has voted to once again become part of an independent, sovereign Ukraine. Just moments after the official results of the referendum were released, Ukraine has officially released to the world it's Declaration of Existence, and is in the process of assembling a Constitutional Committee to draft a new Ukrainian Constitution. In the meantime, a Provisional Government will be set up to govern Ukraine in the interim.
  8. Re-rolling in Ukraine, except for the Crimea, Donetsk Oblast, and Luhansk Oblast, which JED can keep.
  9. Sure, if you say so, Zoot. At least I've offered time and again to compromise, something Markus has never once offered to do, even the littlest bit. I saved his bacon twice in the past by offering or brokering compromises, and offered to save his bacon once again by peacefully offering to pull out. Me and Mr Director could have easily beaten Alvonia, so yes, he really did need to compromise here, but he didn't, instead he chose to make ridiculous demands. Why would I agree to give him Burgenland when there wasn't even an Alvonia to give it to, and when Markus didn't even have any hope of winning? But I am done arguing with you people. I've already given my land back to Rudy as a protectorate.
  10. Public Amid growing protests in front of the parliament building by weary and angry citizens demanding mass resignations of government leaders, over the constant wars and the prolonged political in-fighting and political stalemate, the Hungary-Slovakian Prime Minister and parliament have all tendered their resignations and the Hungary-Slovakian government has been dissolved. Talks between Hungary-Slovakia and Yugoslavia are currently in process, centering on the lands of Hungary-Slovakia peacefully reverting back to a Yugoslavian Protectorate.
  11. I hereby give Burgenland back to Alvonia. Also, as Hungary-Slovakia was a Yugoslavian protectorate before Rudy graciously let me roll there, I also hereby give all the rest of Hungary and Slovakia back to Rudy as a protectorate of Yugoslavia once again. All Polish and Ukrainian lands I hereby vacate back to whitespace. Thank you.
  12. Private "The government here in Hungary-Slovakia is in the process of being dissolved. As the land of Hungary-Slovakia was once a protectorate of Yugoslavia, we feel it is only proper that in the absence of a functioning government here, that the lands of Hungary-Slovakia be once again given back to Yugoslavia as a Yugoslavian protectorate."
  13. *All troops have pulled out of Austria and Burgenland, and all Hungary-Slovakian citizens have begun to be evacuated out of Burgenland.*
  14. Private "Prime Minister Rikard Beres requests political asylum in Minsk, if such is acceptable to the Belarus government."
  15. on third thought, i'm done here. poland can be wiped.
  16. I've offered plenty of compromises to Markus. He has never even once offered even the slightest compromise. Ever. If you've never noticed that then you are blind.
  17. There is something. Alvonia no longer exists, and has been replaced by a jointly held protectorate. He would need both Rudy as well as my permission. He also wants Burgenland back but 1) it's already long been annexed into Hungary-Slovakia and 2)since there is no longer an Alvonia, but now is nothing but a joint protectorate, there is nothing to annex Burgenland to even. It's just a governmentless piece of land apparrently filled with terrorists and insurgents; and I hate to say it but 3) Markus, and apparrently yourself, appear to be the only two people who even want to see this insurgency continue. Lyser has pulled out, Ty has outright ignored it, and even Rudy has tried to avoid it and peacefully put an end to it since it started. I myself am now asking for the third time to just let it end; to be quite frank, I've no interest in RPing with someone who is incapable of compromising even the slightest ever.
  18. Damn it, Markus. You literally quit CNRP and asked that Alvonia be removed from the map, and it was. There literally is no more Alvonia, just a joint protectorate in it's place. Now leave me alone. :P I honestly have to wonder if, after you yourself asked Alvonia to be removed from the map, if you are now purposely trying to get all these concessions and reparations for a nation that literally no longer exists -- and refusing to end a war that I've already asked you twice politely to please just agree to end-- just to annoy and aggravate myself and Director? Why Rudy and FHIC are even letting you do all this, is quite literally completely beyond me. </rant> I'll be back in two or three days.
  19. "There is no more Alvonia. It's government totally collapsed, and all that is left is a mutually-administered protectorate. There is no longer an Alvonia to even consider giving Burgenland to, As such, we refuse to negotiate with terrorists or insurgents. We also remind these terrorists that Burgenland was part of Hungary long before former-Alvonia had stolen it away. We also remind these terrorists and insurgents that they are the ones that started this war. As per agreement with our ally Yugoslavia, Austria became a jointly administered protectorate between us. A minimal amount of Hungarian soldiers peacefully began entering Austria to peacefully help Yugoslavia with the defense and administration and restoration of law and order. If the insurgents want peace and want us to pull out, we already gave the terms for that, and they were quite lenient: Cease fire and we will leave. Now, as for an apology..." *A list of 500 soldiers killed by insurgents and 50,000 soldiers killed during the last war would be provided.* "And reparations...." *A bill for all the damage caused to Hungary-Slovakia by the nukes of former-Alvonia's former ally would also be provided.* (OOC: Now let me have my two - three days of down-time :P )
  20. (And with that, see Ya all in 2 or 3 days :) )
  21. Hungarian casualties for entire war : 500 soldiers, 14 tanks. Hungarian efforts to clear the last remaining mines at the border would continue, however, it's tanks, artillery, SCUDs, and cruise missiles would stop. Long range and mobile SAMs would stay online and alert, in case any enemy jets tried to take advantage of the ceasefire.* A general public broadcast would then be played. "Alvonians, we are observing a 24 hour ceasefire. We only wish to help preserve law and order in Austria, we are not attempting to invade or annex. Cease fire and put away your weapons, and we will immediately and peacefully withdraw, and this needless and pointless war and bloodshed will finally be over. All that will remain will be 15,000 soldiers that will only serve to help administrate and restore order. They will not bother or harm any Alvonian citizens."
  22. In any case, I'm taking a 3 or 4 day respite. See you all then.
  23. At this point, I don't care, I just want a truce to be called so we can all just move past this. >_< The truce is made, and I immediately go back to Hungary except for 15000 soldiers who I promise won't bother you Markus.
  24. In any case, if Markus agrees to end the insurgency, it's done, the war is over, we pull out except for a minimal amount left for administrative duties.
