Today, the MDF has initiated its first military exercise since its establishment. Codenamed "Operation Flounder", the exercise is to last a week with extensive deployment of the ground forces. The exercise will comprise of two teams, each consisting of 500 men and 100 vehicles. The Blue team will represent the Nova Scotian forces, while the Red Team will represent a hypothetical foreign enemy. Operation Flounder is being conducted in the north of the country, near the border with New Brunswick, which is not a part of any country but currently an extensive protectorate of Pravus Ingruo. The point of the exercise is of a hypothetical land invasion from the north. There are also rumors that there are plans for a future exercise concerning an amphibious invasion via Nova Scotia's extensive coast, but the MDF command denies this.
