1. Not sure what GOONS expectations are as yet. I am always happy to talk.
2. I don't recall exactly but I do know they were insisting on surrender which was not an option for us. Things came to a head when they discovered we had infiltrated their alliance. Part of the agreement for white peace was that we made known our embedded nations and had them leave RoK. The twist was that two of those nations were in .gov ;)
3. Good to see you, I think you are about on the money with the historical issue and your friendship then was as valued as it is now. With the war chests some of our nations carry I don't see this being over quickly so we could be around for a while still. The idea of lots of money, a Manhattan Project and very little NS rather appeals ;) New to you maybe but certainly not new to Bob.
4. Yes it is true to say that we may well have a death wish. The question for GOONS is how long do they want us nipping at their heels before we finally die? You need to keep in mind here that when RoK attacked us, with just a hand full of nations we stayed at war for well over a year before they finally realised that white peace was the only way out. An alliance with a death wish does not necessarily wish to die quickly.
5. Ancient history but the truth of the matter is that GUN caused the war on GUN. If you want us dead lose the rhetoric and declare war.
6. It's a kind offer and I thank you for this, I'll give it due consideration, but due to our no surrender policy the options for us are limited to war and white peace.
7. Not very likely but we have a history of providing irritation for an extended period of time. It is only possible to declare on nations that are in war range. If you had been asleep for 4 years perhaps there would be a few cobwebs on your nation too. o7 Victory as defined in the DOW has been achieved. Now it is just a question of how long we can be bothered to irritate the GOONS. Substantial war chests can provide prolonged irritation ;) Thanks :) Hello old friend (and enemy i guess) still love you lots in spite of the chequered past. Good to see you're still around. Hello Hal o7
8. Due to an unprovoked attack on OcUK nation Vihara by GOONS nation Ameroca OcUK hereby declare war on the alliance GOONS. An attack on one is an attack on all. In accordance with alliance policy there will be no surrender, unless of course GOONS can't take the heat. As an alliance we are no longer large and no longer of any significance, we have been inactive for the best part of several years. Time to dust off the weapons RTFM and let fly. I guess the only button that matters is the one that says NUKES. Victory for OcUK is measured in terms of doing more damage to GOONS as an alliance then the original aggressor did to Vihara. A pyrrhic victory maybe but one that was easily achieved as soon as the first nuke was away. Some of our very few nations may be too inactive or lazy to get involved, it's just the way things are these days so, GOONS you may need to bring the war to them. For OcUK it is time the fat lady stopped singing. Signed: Chancellor: DavidMarq Proctor Prime: Smithy ps: We give thanks to old friends and allies that have offered help to achieve a peaceful resolution, much respect to you that you still remember us. The offers were appreciated but are honourably declined.
9. It's quite funny how some folks seem never able to let go of the distant past and bear an indefinite grudge. I can't even remember these days who my enemies used to be. Must be old age or dementia or both. I am half sure at one time you and I were on opposite sides but now I consider you a friend. I honestly can't remember what the Bubble Gum war was all about anymore however I do remember being amused by it at the time.
10. Very sad to see CoJ go. :( However in more positive news it is good to see that what little is left of OcUK has outlived RoK. :)
11.
Of course, Deinos' foreign policy is all over the place. You asked me what relevance was, and I told you. OcUK hasn't made itself relevant because, for its own reasons, it largely stays out of the limelight/political arena. That isn't inherently bad, but when coupled with a lack of size, it makes them irrelevant.
Notwithstanding of course the alliance that found us to be very relevant when we had but 5 members and a fraction of the NS that we have now. There are ways of doing war that make alliance size and NS irrelevant.
12. *Pops his head above the radar. To those that did not know we were still around, well... Perhaps you did not need to know. Nice to pop back and even nicer to have this treaty with our good friends in CoJ an alliance that have been aware of our continued existence. *Ducks back under the radar for another year or so...
13.
Is this BLEU?
Hello old friend. BLEU is still very dead, I own the corpse.
14.
Perhaps. The biggest difference I can see is that my application entrusts a lot more freedom to the user to create their own circle, and has open registration,
Both major flaws if the application is to be run efficiently.
while this application has a lot of elements that I chose not to implement in order to keep the application simple.
Elements that have been skilfully coded to make administration of the application efficient with little necessary intervention.
15. This is so far from the truth I can only assume that you have been badly misinformed.
16. Out of all the allies I have ever had you are missed the most.
17. Tela's loyalties are demonstratively available to the highest bidder, what she believes is is not set by principle but rather set by price. Dangle a carrot my old friend and you may strike lucky, It is however advisable to count your plums when you are done.
18. An announcement of great substance. Did the fat lady just sing? "When I'm &$*%ing you-oo-oo-oo oo-oo-oo."
19. I am never sure whether you are deliberately revisionists or just plain ignorant of the facts, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume ignorance. I can recall several public statements stating our infiltration of the RoK alliance, I don't recall any that specified a specific intent to sabotage the community from the inside. Perhaps you can find some and help my recollection. The target of our insurgency was RoK government, I seem to recall the RoK community liking my insurgents so much that they elected some of them to government. I think you confuse sarcasm with irony here. My dear leader to this date stands in possession of a medal that clearly demonstrates the inability of RoK to secure their borders, an obvious and very public statement of an incompetent leadership. As for 1-2 members, an alliance in an insurgent war is greater than the number of members flying the AA. We had 2 members of RoK .gov that I can openly admit to and others on the RoK AA with a different agenda. We also had members on away missions elsewhere. Those that remained to fly the OcUK AA were greater in number than 2. Point being I probably agree with this point.
20. You still owe me $15m for spy ops conducted on your behest whilst we were in BLEU, but I guess I am not in your thoughts. As an aside I have a full copy of the Blunity forums and IRC logs, perhaps I should publish some of the Echelon Leadership contributions in this train wreck to add a little context to your lies.
21. History shows that some ex-members of BC were and are, just not CH I guess.
22. If you had any stones you would have signed the treaty regardless of their state of war.
23. I hope you never have to rely on MCXA to have your backs unless of course you enjoy that stabbing feeling.
