OcUK Alliance Announcement For many months now the OcUK Alliance has been in a state of war with the Ragnarok Alliance, a war that was declared upon us without treaty obligation or valid CB. It was described at the time as a pre-emptive strike to prevent us from supporting our friends and allies in BLEU. Today in light of the pending global conflict we come before you to announce that OcUK declares a unilateral ceasefire with Ragnarok. We do not end our war with RoK and we do not request or require peace. We do however now share a common enemy and some common goals. This announcement serves as notice to the Ragnarok Alliance and we have no intention of discussing this with you diplomatically or otherwise. All of our many embedded nations are hereby ordered to take up the sword and fight bravely and with honour under the Ragnarok banner. Cease and desist from all offensive away missions until such time that that the global war is at an end. We reserve the right to continue to gather intelligence but we will not use any intelligence gathered to jeopardise RoK's imminent war effort. We also suggest that Ragnarok peace out any remaining wars they have with OcUK nations during this ceasefire so that we may both concentrate our full efforts on the common enemy. This would specifically apply to Ex-RoK LoT, King Lear. We would further suggest that the nation Doofy is removed from the RoK ZI list and offered peace. Obviously you as the aggressor are the victim, what was I thinking. Your first point I pre-emptively covered in the post you quoted, did you miss that bit? Also I forgot to mention how much fun it is sitting back and watching an incompetent alliance being totally impotent.

Consider a hypothetical situation where your alliance has been declared upon by a much stronger alliance without treaty obligation or casus belli. All of your allies have wars of their own to deal with or are under surrender terms and are unable to help. Your alliance is already damaged beyond any reasonable expectation of salvation. Your options are limited to surrendering, disbanding or finding another method to take war to the enemy. Spying, infiltration, subversion and insurgency become very attractive options.

RoK should be used to having spies around by now. On Topic: UBD were always good people when I knew them back in the day. Very honourable of MK for this measured approach to war.

There has never been a better time to join the OcUK Cyber Nations alliance than now. We have today introduce a new aid programme to promote growth at the lower end of the alliance table. A grand total of $45 million in aid is being sent out today as the first phase of a regular aid programme. The problem occurs when you are on an LS members nation page and you click the medal icon to search for all alliance wars, or the money icon to search for aid or the eye icon to search for for exposed spy operations. Using alliance war search, aid search and spy search function from a nation page or the alliance screen requires a minimum alliance name length of three characters. If the alliance name is two characters or less the following error is generated.
