Alliances and treaties aren't forged between 2 groups so that one can support and defend the other. That's what you call a protectorate. A treaty is meant to be mutually beneficial. NpO no longer feels that the treaty was mutually beneficial, and so it was cancelled. This is exactly what any other alliance would do with any treaty when they felt they were no longer benefiting from the treaty, so why is it any different for NpO...

There is some very serious misinformation being spread in this topic about the nature of potential peace talks in this war. You lot at Eurasia seem to be misinformed about what Eurasia's leaders want, so allow me to inform you. Eurasia approached NDO for peace talks some time last week. It was stated that Eurasia did not intend to give D1 or RE any form of peace for the rest of the entire round. Meaning, the threat of perma-war was coming from the Eurasia side of things, not us. Today I approached Frawley to see if Eurasia would be open to peace (knowing full well what the answer would be, at least you can't say I didn't try) and was again told that Eurasia had no intention of giving D1 or RE any form of peace. As for NDO, while peace was offered to us both times, I am not the type of person that is okay with running away and leaving those who came to our aid to fight alone, regardless of their character or intentions. This wasn't something I thought needed to be said, but clearly I was wrong. I'm not at all happy to sit back and let anyone say that one of NDO D1 or RE are threatening perma-war when it's not the case, to the best of my knowledge. If Eurasia wants peace, we're more than happy to give it to them. All they need do is ask for it.

In reply to Caladin the stats of those 19 nations you *claimed* would be the only ones fighting paint a different picture than what was reality. EVEN IF you had maintained your promise of only letting a handful of your nations engage us, you still continue to skirt around the issue that we were only THREE DAYS fresh out of war. We were given absolutely no time to rebuild AT ALL. You may as well have declared with all of your nations, wouldn't have done any difference. Add on to that the fact that your special 19 nations had FIFTY more nukes than us, and your pretty picture of a fair and even fight goes up in smoke. As for Neo Uruk, you continue to say that we (which includes the NDO) are trying to uphold some sort of agreement that we ourselves don't follow. Instead of putting words in our mouths, you should look to our actions. We declared on TPC this round, and it was considered for the most part to be an updeclare. We had nukes when we declared and TPC did not. We agreed we would not use any nukes at all, unless it was in retaliation. A promise that we kept. If you're going to say we don't stay true to our word, and don't follow the honor that we preach, post some damn proof. Neither D1's nor RE's actions at the start of the round can be used to excuse your actions against us, in ANY WAY.

1 - You had a little over 24 hours. It doesn't take that long to say "Oh crap, I guess we screwed up." and ask for peace. 2 - Your leader acknowledged it was a down declare in the OP of the war declaration, so you were CLEARLY aware you were being ass holes from the very start, despite whatever crap you lot want to spew out here now. 3 - After the fact, not only your leader but a bunch of other members stated "what's done is done, only thing to do now is carry on with the war!" after it was clearly spelled out for you that you were well in the wrong. So, all that said, you could have had 24 hours, or an entire bleeding week. It wouldn't have mattered. So, why are you pretending like time-frame was any where near an issue? Don't insult our intelligence.

The #4 ranking we had was based on score...Score is what determines ranking of AAs. You directly stated we were ranked #4, and thus were making a direct reference to score. Simply put, just because we had a score good enough to make us #4 doesn't mean we were actually stronger than any alliance under #4. Let alone strong enough to take on an alliance twice our size with completely clean uniforms. But then, the people in Eurasia have demonstrated time and again these past few days within these topics that they simply perceive reality in an absurd manner. Debate is futile.
