    We came to a diplomatic resolution with D1. I spoke with cowboy about it. Feel free to ask him yourself. As for this being a cheap xp grab, I'd like to once more point out the title of this thread.

    Since you seem to be illiterate, I suppose there's no point pointing it out to you again. But for any others reading this, as I stated in the OP. The STC is not required to join the NDO in any war.

    When an alliance is damaged by actions of your members, it's your responsibility to make it right by your aggrieved party. In this case, what we asked was fair. One simple round of wars with the raiders. We wouldn't have used naval blockades or dirty spy ops just some clean war to make it right by us that we were raided. Authorized or not, we were raided. If someone from my alliance had raided you, and I told you "It wasn't authorized, so suck it up." Would you be okay with that? I highly doubt it. As stated, we tried to reach a diplomatic resolution to these raids. We wouldn't simply declare on an alliance the moment we see we've been attacked. We understand shit happens. Not something the USSR seems to be interested in.

    You see a declaration of war posted WELL after members of STC were raided by members of USSR. In fact, their leader has literally stated in this thread that they had no intention of going to war with us. They've said this was a raid themselves. They then declared war on us when we asked to settle the issue because they didn't like the consequences of raiding. This war will be treated as an illegitimate raid by the NDO.

    It's not that we don't want them to get the full experience, but that we feel a rough idea of when war is coming "week or two etc, not necessarily something like tomorrow or the day after" would help them be prepared for it. New players and those who aren't active daily are bound to make mistakes, and not just a couple. So this sort of balances it out. If we were reached out by an alliance doing something similar, we could consider a surprise war where we don't inform them of anything as it would be more balanced out. It's all in the interest of giving people a chance to not have to pay dearly for their mistakes, and be able to grow and continue coming back to TE, while giving our elite AA a better idea of who we have to work with when war comes. There's no point in pretending to have 20 members when 7 or 8 of them are inactive or don't know what they're doing and aren't able to keep up. It only discourages them, and harms us. This I think to be an elegant solution to both of those problems. 2 birds 1 stone. But we'll see how that goes.

    As we've stated multiple times, the STC isn't an AA we're protecting, it's simply a part of the NDO.

    And we were kind enough to let you off with a simple "Don't do this again." Were we not? You repay this kindness by then going on to raid the very same AA? Laughable.

    Did you see a declaration of war on STC? I didn't. I only saw raids. They raided us after trying to poach from us a week or so ago. I've been nothing but diplomatic, letting them off the hook when they tried to poach. I offered them a fair offer to resolve the raid which they declined, and proceeded to attack the rest of NDO, only THEN declaring on the forums. This is not a war. It is a raid gone wrong. They must pay the consequences of their foolhardy actions.

    The NDO does not recognize this as an official war, but rather as a cowardly raid by a pathetic band of rogues. We will not follow the community rules of engagement, and all actions will hereby be authorized to all NDO and STC nations in retaliation.

    They would know it's coming, they wouldn't know an exact date unless you wished for such a thing. You would then declare as normal.

    I hereby declare that the Saharan Training Corps is under the full protection of the New Desolate Order. Let it be known that an attack on them IS an attack on us, we are one. An attack on the New Desolate Order will not signify an attack on the Saharan Training Corps, and neither alliance is obliged to help the other should one alliance declare an offensive war.     Mmm, I consider it an internal mater. An announcement would be nice sure. It adds to the game, and keeps everyone informed. But I'm not going to point a gun at anyone for not letting people know. It's completely different than going to war.

    If I wanted to destroy your pathetic excuse for an alliance, believe me I wouldn't bother trying to make an excuse to justify it. I'd simply go in and destroy you. However, I have no interest in destroying *any* alliance, nor do I have time to waste on one as pathetic as yours. Besides, as Nick says, it's not our way, and it never will be.
