Interesting topic. What's the motivation for it Clock-Wise? Your stated motivation to clear up an issue that's been dead for months makes little sense especially as you've taken such an antagonistic tone. Why are you so incredulous that people who you were in an alliance with who thought- because you'd told them so- that you'd fight alongside them and aid them are bitter at you for not fighting and for not helping? That you think that you someone of your integrity would still now occupy the minds of those people is incredible arrogance. I suppose you've provided a bandwagon for the haters though, and I'm sure they're truly grateful.

There's a lot of history being discussed on this thread but being only 39 days old it means nothing to me. What I do know is that The Legion is a cool place to hang out. I've had lots of help to build my nation from friendly people in a place with a genuine community feel. I'm very happy in The Legion. Strangely the fact that there's so much stick being given to our alliance only makes me like it more

I don't have anything to compare it to, I joined the day I turned up on this angst ridden planet. It's a very laid back place where people buy tech from me and I post drivel in reply to other drivel, mainly about the most epic failure of a love life I've ever heard about. I Like The Legion ETA: I might have joined the pretend Nazi complete with an odal alliance if I knew about them when I first arrived. They're sure to be having all the fun .

The validity of the premise that the behaviour of an alliance is based on their fear or not of being rolled hasn't been demonstrated. It appears to me that alliance behaviour and the willingness to got ot war has more to do with the long term aims of the alliance than any fear of being rolled.

It's plain to see for a new nation that Pacifica is a leading light of organisation. The insight that an ideology, if not based on the prevailing material conditions is irrelevant and acting on that insight is both simple and genius.
