  1. They do like to play pretend. Really, the only solution is to stop worrying about this useless war of words and focus on the actual war.
  2. "Stop quoting law to us. We carry swords." Let's save ourselves from the pretense of conversation; war will suffice for a dialogue.
  3. Remember when alliances didn't use the OWF as their embassy row? Good times, amirite?
  4. GW III, man. Nothing else since then like it. You posted on these forums at your peril and the first Hegemony (World Unity Treaty) was the most diverse treaty group before or since. \m/ fought WAPA, beat them handily, and disbanded them...made them merge with us, and sixty days later, sent them on their way with a treaty and a bond that lasted for years. Though if we are going to talk small scale, Ivanelterrible soloing GATO and winning was the cleanest and most noble fight I ever saw.
  5. When you have pissed away as many opportunities, burnt as many bridges, lost as many members, and embarassed yourself as many times as MI has, I am not inclined to take your advice. You have pigeon holed yourself into a club with Sir Kindle, who doesn't have the self control to exercise the barest modicum of manners, and is best known for his frequent load-testing of the word filter, and Methrage, who would make Prodigal Chieftain blush when it comes to sheer arrogance and the inability to see a countervailing point. Instead, you and your coalition have made it to the point I at a measely 18K cannot hit you; wonders or no wonders. Your tactics are detrimental to the community of young nations every responsible alliance is trying to foster, and you are a byword and a colloqualism for "untrustworthy". Pardon me if I do not rush to take your military advice, or help you put out the ever burning crater your nation has become.
  6. Your abilities as a rhetor are almost as minute as your Nation Strength. Almost.
  7. Your loyalty to your friends is admirable, but you must understand that they are held in deep contempt by many alliances, for valid reasons. That LH remains their leader and spokesperson with his betrayal of confidences, poor argumentation, and generally annoying public character does them no favors.
  8. Do you remember when Monster's Inc had members in the double digits, a protector who had the clout to keep them from getting rolled, and you weren't the laughingstock of the majority of the community? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  9. Because it's not convenient to your narrative, because it's different when it happens to someone you don't like, or because Kashmir is a bunch of dirty bags? Vote all because you can; if we're going to play the game like we did Pre-Karma, might as well rez every ancient meme you can lay hands on...sounds like a brilliant political move.
  10. So much this. Also, Join Kashmir, WC.
  11. It's some mind bendingly nonsensical logic, and the fact that a ruler of a leading alliance considers that a legitimate CB (Even though alliances have set people up by doing this exact same move before) tells me he's playing the game by Pre-Karma logic. Watch that that doesn't come back and bite you in the ass; people who wear jackboots tend to get theirs in the end*. *Unless you're IRON, and then you just backstab and Coalition-Slide forever!
  12. A luxury of a forgotten era, and even then not one universally practiced; \m/ 1.0 (heretofore known as the only good one) had a 5 member minimum at its laxest (and this is the evil, 'game' ruining, raiding \m/ of the olden days). We do not live in an era where that would be politic or wise; even the largest alliance in the world pales in comparison the sheer numbers of the older alliances. Legion once had what, a thousand members? Pacifica had how many more than that? I remember when reaching sanction required 300 nations minimum. To finish beating this dead horse, lets not use 2007 rules for 2016 Digiterra; most of them just don't translate.
  13. OOC: Edited, because I'm not going to follow that post above me with IC anything.
  14. So never act on credible intelligence until it's too late? Kashmir believed itself to be under credible threat based on more than the word of a single man; NG hitting PM on the 17th didn't do anything for the credibility of this "smoke out" operation. Combining that with SNX, another Doom Kingdom ally, getting hit just days later, and this story of mole hunting becomes thinner and thinner. Polaris and its fellow conspirators created the environment for this war when they decided to get in bed with Methrage and his friends. That was an act I believed beyond the pale for NpO; I suppose I can still be surprised. Am I 100% certain that the above is absolutely and in its entirety true? No. But as the Prince of Kashmir I have a responsibility to act in the best interests of our members. If I'm wrong, Polaris had plenty of opportunities to approach me or SirWilliam diplomatically to reassure us of their good intentions. That they failed to do so does not fill me with confidence in their protestations of innocence.
  15. We're always known by the company we keep. Polaris keeping company with people like Animalz and Methrage is telling.
  16. You realize your actions of the last 24 hours cast a herculean amount of shade on what you're saying, don't you?
  17. Shall we beat a dead horse together, you and I? I'm going to insult our collective intelligence by explaining this, on the off chance that you are not familiar with how this dance goes: Alliance's shift nations periodically into peace mode/war mode in long engagements in order to optimize their military efforts. There's nothing cowardly about utilizing strategy, and beating the drum and going on about how cowardly SNX is when Polaris is much more powerful than SNX in Nation Strength is either obtuse or incredibly disingenuous.
