Jan Mayen Island Work continued at a rapid pace in the aftermath of the storms, work to repair the primitive structures that were only half built when the weather hit, and then to finish off the surface work in a fast and orderly manner. After two more weeks the surface prefabs had been finished and wired up, and in a final act of ceremony, the flagpole was raised and the Norse flag would fly over Jan Mayen island, solidifying the annexation of the island. Both rolls are to successfully infiltrate a special forces platoon using a stealth helicopter such as the CH-53K by flying below the radar into Greenland with the aim of destroying or disabling a radar station in order to open a doorway into greenland for a larger, more substantial force.

Public After lengthy negotiations between Athens and the Kingdom, it was concluded and made public today, that Iceland has been placed under Norse rule. This conclusions comes after nearly a year of talks held between high level dignitaries of both states following the mutually beneficial relationship which developed between Athens and Copenhagen following the war against Norway and the war against Poland. The Second Royal Danish Parachute Division has been deployed to Iceland as an immediate security presence whilst preparations are made for a civilian mission to begin the internal process of annexation.

With a range of two thousand miles and a 360 degree set of eyes on the sky, anything entering Europe over the Poles would be detected. Furthermore, the range of the radar would be able to detect anything coming in from Greenland, Gibraltar and even Kamchatka when the rest of the supporting satellites were launched. Whilst the stations in Iceland themselves had ranges that reached further south, the overlap for 90% of the coverage would provide a far superior picture for northern anomolies. No, leave the SDI system as it is, the SDI system should cover 12nm off shore and all of your territory (not protectorates). It should cover fleets and expeditionary forces IF and only IF the correct RP has been put in place, IE, RPing the deployment of such systems to the field. No SDI, no protection, 60% is an arbitary number and even with that on somebodies side, every nuke can still get through down to simple bad luck. There is a mechanic IG for nuke defence, and it, alongside the manhattan project, are the only two wonders that anybody has ever bloody cared about in RP1 and RP2, so dont mess with how we have translated those mechanics into CNRP2. I just ate eleven nukes, Mogar ate god knows how many more, Euphaia and others in Europe all ate nukes, we get over it, but removing that defence entirely is silly and altering how we use it is even worse.
