1. Rhetorical questions melt my brain. Can't you just keep it to the time-honoured "our enemies flee before our might" nonsense and so on and so forth? You know, this sort of thing
5 MILLION PACIFICAN TROOPS SURRENDER TO NORDREICH FORCES "I don't know where we're going to put them all" comments shocked NoR obergefreiter.
2. Ooops! spelling error in the title. Sorry VELKAN CIVIL WAR FLARES UP 9/1/11 BUGRINO, Velkan Republic Experts fear for the worst after a series of six bomb blasts shook the capital of Bugrino this morning. The blasts started at 7AM with an attack on Foreign Minister Anatoli Mikahilov, who was fortunate to escape with only minor injuries. His apartment was destroyed however, and the explosion was followed over the next two hours by attacks on a convoy of army trucks, the headquarters of the Velkan Supremacy Front, a hand grenade attack on a police car and finally a larger explosion at the Nachtkreig Memorial. A total of seven people were killed, with a further 46 injured, some seriously. Below; Velkan troops move in to guard the city centre. Martial law was immediately declared by the authorities. Mayor Boris Dobkin has stated, "it's all we can do to keep the city from falling into general panic. The police force is simply inadequate to deal with another crisis, such as the one we had four years ago." As of yet, no group has claimed responsibility. The targeting of the VSF, however, has cast suspicions on the Army of the Republic, the former military, turned guerilla froup, of the shortlived Velkan Worker's Republic. Nor can the Velkan Liberation Army be ruled out, with its history of not only fighting factions from the left and right, but carrying out brutal false-flag operations against civilians in its struggle for a western-style democracy. The previous Civil War, which ended in 2007, claimed over 8000 lives and left tens of thousands more homeless or fleeing the country. The intervention of the Nordreich succeeded in halting the conflict and establishing Velkan National Unity, a coalition of eight different parties, as the nation's ruling organisation. The nation has been slow to recover, with only half of its formally beautiful cities having fully recovered. Despite millions in Reichsmarks pouring in from the Nordreich, repair efforts have been hampered by local corruption, factional squabbling and the general state of the nation's infrastructure. Harsh measures, including the death penalty, have been reintroduced to combat these problems. With yesterday's bombings, though, the VNU is clearly not taking any chances. 3. Ahh, you people wouldn't know menacing if it bit your face off. Which is more-or-less what Nordreich's master plan is.
4. Why don't all the uranium nations band together in one giant alliance, monopolise nuclear weapons and launch some sort of great big atomic war on everyone. That'd be a laugh.
5. Well, I'm back after 9 months travelling. Spent 3 months living in Berlin and another month in Hamburg. Loved it. Got sick in the Philippines and Malaysia though, so I'm glad to be home in Australia. Is there still a place for dinosaurs like me? A
6.
Then once they're rebuilt they can use the defacing of Francos's Star as a casus belli, roll the alliances and get massive reps. Win win.
Just so that this actually happens one day, to all you NPO haters, it'd be relatively easy, time-saving and cheap to simply paint an NPO flag, set it on fire and take photos. It'd be the first war of its kind.
7. I'm looking for an alliance that will help my country get buff in no time. In exchange for cash, I will help kill your enemies and secure your organisation's supremacy. I was in a few groups previous to this country. I'm not up for hard-left/right stuff, nor folks who like parading in ridiculous uniforms and putting on airs. Cut-throat mercenary action is what I'm after. Cheers!
The Republic of Krakatan Welcome to the Republic of Krakatan, an exotic island nation lying in the mid-Pacific. The peace-loving people of Krakatan enjoy nothing more than diving, sailing, sun-bathing and, of course, hard drinking to pass the time. In Krakatan, we believe that everyone deserves to enjoy the fruits of life, and that's why our ports are open to everyone, no questions asked! The Free Port of Mala is a thriving town, famous for its casinos and friendly open-minded locals. Often, Krakatan is dismissed as a criminal haven, but this is simply a colonial myth. Nothing is further from the truth. So why not come and see for yourself! Try a mango lassi by the beach, go fishing, hike up the old volcano or simply kick back and relax at a Thai massage parlour. You'll never want to leave!
9. Congrats yes, very nice, you helped bring down our terrible Pacifican governors, bravo, but if I read one more post done in this self-gratifying language of "four score and seven months ago, we heroes who did lay down our lives' blaa blaa blaa, I will go postal I swear.
10. RL me- drunk, , corrputable, extreme right-wing, punk rocker, bass guitarist. IC me- uptight, corrputable, extreme right-wing, dictator, executioner. No difference. ???
11. Pacifica's internal culture will ensure them an eventual recovery, but it doesn't really matter, as they'll never again be the dominating force they used to be.
12. Congratulations to the FCO, one of my favourite alliances
13. I hope Karma can actually keep it together now and be responsible world leaders. The NPO may not have been perfect, I'm not a fan of them, but the world was stable in at least one sense of the word. Many are now fearing exactly how the next few months will pan out. I wish Karma the best of luck in forming a responsible multipolar world. You also need a new name.
14. Matter of weeks and we'll be there B)
15. Congratulations from the Velkan Dominion of Bregna. It is in the great nationalistic spirit to allow one another's communities to live in peace and tolerance.
16. Congrats to Karma! Well done on changing the face of Bob for many years to come!
17. Watch out, we're muscling into the big picture B)
18. Same meat, different gravy.
19. It'll be interesting to see what role nukes play in the future. A new age is upon us all, and new ages usually come with a new set of rules.
20. The NpO was a rebranded version of the NPO, just as the NSO is now. You can burn all evidence of any of these alliances off the map, but Francoism will always be around to cause new headaches. Or at least earaches.
21. There needs to be a clause; 'don't vote for your own alliance's flag',
