1. Best of luck to you guys. This puts a bit of a damper on my saying that we'd beat you to 3mil, though . . .
 2. I think honesty and just saying "we hate you, so we're fighting you" works much better. No sense looking for moral superiority in some falsely perceived slight when you can just have the truest moral superiority of all by being up front.
 3. Oh, goodie, more whack-a-mole!
This is low Sarm. Really low.
Tell me, good sir, what exactly is low about it?
What kind of allies are you, to throw CsN out, and then ally with their pretty much biggest enemies. I can understand a cancellation, but your slapping them in the face.
It would seem like a slap in the face, wouldn't it? Of course, I don't speak for Legacy, so I'm merely speculating... but perhaps it's in response to being held in a massively destructive war by CsN for a month despite every other party involved wanting white peace. You know, I doubt you or Mr. Cyphon here would be too chuffed if your super-dee-dooper allies ignored the reasonable direction that you wanted to move in for their own sadistic gain. This just might have something to do with the fact that Legacy had to eat tons of nukes and take a lot of blame for enabling their to allies extorting an innocent alliance. Note that they didn't bail then. Why? I'd wager that it had a lot to do with the fact that they wanted to be loyal to their allies and not leave them out in the cold during a war. So what kind of allies are they? Cowards? Traitors? Hardly. The fact that they stayed on board while Pxychosis and the ever-so-charming Liz Girard decided to carry out their perverse agenda, despite the massive military and political repercussions, shows this loyalty. Do you really think that they agreed with what their so-called allies were doing to old friends of theirs? I'd wager they didn't approve. Still, they fought for their allies. When it was all over, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Legacy didn't get thanked for their commitment and bloodshed. I'm going to guess that they did not receive an apology from GOD or CsN for being put in a situation where they would have had to sacrifice their loyalty to pursue a reasonable peace. So geez, wake up and smell the coffee. If anyone ever had a reason to do what was done here, it's Legacy.
 4. I came for a disbandment notice and all I got was this lousy (something)
 5.
People are little !@#$%*es. #IgnorantCauseIDontKnowFullStoryButStillYouAllSuckForSanctioning
DO NOT bring hashtags to CN. PLEASE.
 6.
We'll see about that Winner gets first dibs on teh GOD DoW?
Be careful, the paranoids out there might actually take this a little too seriously...
 7. I would like to casually invite you guys to race DT to 3,000,000 as we passed this same milestone a few days ago. I do have to warn you, you don't stand a chance...
 8. Shame to see two great alliances split paths. Hopefully you find each other again one day.
 9. CJ, you guys are being immensely reasonable about this. There were days where people would be EZI'd over something less than this. I hope you didn't think I was slighting you, I just figured that Sin might prefer a third party in between y'all.
 10. Again, if you guys continue fighting, nothing gets accomplished. Sin, you aren't changing anyone's opinions. Valhalla, you already know nothing productive is coming out of this. Bob and I have already offered to try to broker some sort of an agreement between you. I'm sure it's doable. Or Valhalla can just ride Sin into bill lock, for however long it may take. I wouldn't like to see that and something tells me neither would they. Also, I think this belongs in World Affairs?
 11. Even though Valhalla is an ally of mine, I understand where you're coming from here. The fact is, it sucks to get raided and I can sympathize with why you would get mad and go after them. If I had to guess, you were sanctioned because you continued to attack them. My advice is to simply try to make it right. Both parties seem to have done some not nice things and arguing about who is right and who is wrong will only result in the group with more leverage winning out (Valhalla). Consider joining an alliance, maybe even Valhalla (they probably have some respect for your cojones), and do what you can to clear your name. Something tells me it won't be very difficult for you to find peace.
 12.
Well.. if this isn't the biggest FU in recent CN history.
You ain't seen nothin' yet.
 13. Well, TSA has always seemed pretty cool. I'm not sure why you would associate yourselves with this lot of crybabies.
 14.
You can keep going on and on about this but it won't change any of this. I've made my stance and by extension NG's clear. It will have to do. Even if it's not right in your eyes.
I didn't know that your outreach was officially on behalf of NG. If that's true, which I have no reason not to believe, then all I have left to say is well handled.
 15.
Actually the reason was that they no longer needed our assistance.
That's the reason that the treaty no longer exists. Is that also the reason that you invited raiders to attack them? Something doesn't sit right about having people who no longer need your assistance attacked.
 16.
I never said NG was full to blame. Simply just said we offered to give them 3 million dollars
That's not what you said Fear. This is what you said:
Magnet we offered reps for the damage and said we were sorry. There is nothing more we can do. We will not make a whole new thread about this as we want this to end. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone learns from them.
The damages incurred by the raids aren't the issue. TAA seems to have made that clear and I don't think anyone is particularly concerned with what is likely less than that 3mil in damages. The issue here is the principle of throwing an ally out for no reason at all simply for the laughs. We both know what was done was wrong. Everyone does. No one would hold this against NG if your government would understand that they are fallible and have made a mistake. They should then attempt to rectify it in an official capacity. We all make mistakes. You're not judged for your mistakes, though, you're judged for how you handle them. Deflecting the blame and minimizing the situation is not a good way to handle this.
 17.
Magnet we offered reps for the damage and said we were sorry. There is nothing more we can do. We will not make a whole new thread about this as we want this to end. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone learns from them.
No, NG did not offer reps. A few members had the decency to admit your government's mistake and one offered up some aid make up for it. Classy, but none of these are official positions. The point is that your official position was a flat-out dick move. It's really not that hard to reverse course, all it takes is a bit of resolve and understanding that you are capable of doing the wrong thing once in a while. It makes a lot of sense to swallow your pride here and just extend an olive branch to TAA after what just went down. It's obviously not my place to give you advice on how to run your alliance, but there it is.
Stop postulating from your pulpit, sir pope.
I'm not really sure how telling me to shut up helps the situation.
 18.
Really, I think we're just too confused to be angry right now. A treaty, not yet three months old, gets canceled with no explanation and a pretty large middle finger in the announcement (I mean, The Expelliarmus Accords? Really?). It reminds me of one time in high school, really. I met a nice girl near the end of the school year, we dated for a few months into the summer, then I went away for two weeks. After the first week I'm gone she calls me and says she's dumping me for another girl.
You seem confunded... also, I hope you seized the opportunity to at least hop in on that party.
Friendly reminder that Hizzy is on two separate ZI lists, one of which being our EoG list.
I'm praying that you haven't started a ZI list debate... please...
 19.
HoT, Non Grata had a right to know where they stood in regards to their protecting of TAA at the time due to the transition of protectors.
As an alliance that was going through a merge, they should know how difficult it can be to facilitate every little detail. Sometimes finding a treaty partner isn't instant. If one of DT's protectorates wanted a new protector, I can assure you that we'd watch over them until they found that new protector. If they were being vague, we'd be patient with them. That's the point of a protectorate. You hold their hand. There's really no defending what was done here. Now, I don't think anyone hates NG over this. I surely don't. I'm pretty stunned by their lack of regard for the well being of someone they were supposed to protect, but the fact is, there wasn't much damage done. The issue that people like me are taking is the utter lack of goodwill and the seeming malice towards TAA from some. Some in NG have said that it wasn't done properly. That's respectable. In a situation like this, however, one or two opinions don't necessarily represent the government of an alliance. Personally, I'd like to see NG's government step up, take responsibility for an ill-judged action and try to make things right with TAA. I'd be in the front row applauding them the whole way if they chose that route.
 20. My... head hurts. I'll be honest, I couldn't read a thing because the next thing kept catching my attention. Something about italics. Congratulations on five years. I've never had the opportunity to have much dialogue with people in RIA, but that doesn't diminish the respect I have for you. Here's to five more.
 21. Don't know you, but I wish you all the best in your future. Good luck in law school.
 22. Well, it took 17 pages, but yet another thread is about Polar. For the love of ... I can't do that pun. Not again.
 23.
ive behaved myself for months i take this as hily disrespectfull and am seriously considering not thinking of you as a friend or asociatring with you
I'm not sure what I'm looking at here.
 24.
Would you agree that it is better to be active and honest with your protectors than not to be?
Yes, but I can tell you that if I was running an alliance and my protectorate was being hesitant about carrying over a treaty, I'd handle it a little differently.
I'm not laying the blame on Tetris for this. I just wanted to state that them crying foul is a little bit hypocritical considering what they did to SLCB/us. I have already stated the joke and the raid shouldn't have taken place. You can take your suggestive stuff to yourself. It looks like you only want to hear what you want to hear.
That makes sense, actually, for you to say that they don't really have a place to feel wronged themselves, as they wronged you. Don't take my pursuing this further as ignoring that you've acknowledged what was done wrong, I (and I'm sure many others) appreciate and respect that.
 25.
I've very comfortable with Non Grata, I mean they've got a great flag which many people would die for. If they honestly didn't like Non Grata, they should have told them out-right and I'm sure that Non Grata would have allowed them to have protection until they found a new protector. Sometimes, having confidence is better than hesitating all the time, because you get nowhere when you are constantly looking over your shoulder.
Again, you're trying to justify NG's throwing of TAA under the bus by the fact that they hesitated. Newsflash: hesitation is not a good reason to betray someone.
