It was a tough choice. A whole lot of leery, shifty characters to choose from. Pit vipers, the lot of you. Except Stumpy. He's the monster. Yep.

This is a somewhat refreshing post from the other side. I assure you that the governments of our respective alliances are attempting to work something out. However, nothing will be worked out on OWF by rank and file members like you and me. This thread spawned the reaction that it should have, in my opinion. I'm mad, you're mad. This post did nothing to ease tensions. However, I honestly believe that they will be eased. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy and partake in the lovely drama that surrounds us. I suggest you do the same, whether that be through countering arguments with well thought out responses or flat out flaming. At the end of the day, it's all good fun, eh?

In reference to the bolded section: Uhhhhh, what? Who else has installed as many viceroys indefinitely? Who else has removed the government of their "blood brothers?" Who else has taken over a team and attacked any alliances who wished to fly that color in the name of some bogus "peace and stability?" Who else has (ironically) threatened to ZI members of an allied alliance in peace mode, derisively calling it "the brown colony?" Who else has declared war during negotiations held by allies? I'm sure I could find more examples. Granted, there are some alliances now fighting on the Karma side that have committed their fair share of crimes. Many are repentant about it. Some have suffered for it and some haven't. The thing is, none have committed as many atrocities on the same scale as you. You're really one in a million in that regard. So don't act as if everyone is as bad as you. No one is. According to your recruitment video, the NPO is the only place in the Cyberverse where "a man can be a man." Stop making excuses, stop trying to soil others' names when they're not nearly as bad as you, own up, and dammit, resolve this like the supposed men you are.

As I can only speak for what I know, MHA has to have been the most transparent alliance I was in. I liked that, through voting, we had the chance to shape the alliance's foreign policy. Kudos and such.

Try that one alliance who has done the same to multiple alliances, had EZI lists that contained entire alliances, kept alliances at war without term for YEARS, and forcibly removed the government of an alliance they until then said were their blood brothers. There are people, and they've said these things. Some of these things are verging on inspirational. Other of these things are just damn awesome. Some other things are pretty funny, either intentionally or unintentionally (I can think of one in particular, but will omit it for unbiased polling's sake). Basically, what I want you to do is nominate your favorite quote. I'll create a poll, and then we'll vote to see which player is the most quotable. Simple eh? Here are the complicated stipulations: 1. Don't just write the quote, link it. This will deter the rapscallions and miscreants that would think it funny to misquote or make things up. 2. Nominate one quote. Seriously, don't write me a book. 3. When searching, don't grave dig. I hear corpses smell like poo. 4. The 5 or 10 or random number of quotes that will go in the poll will be selected based on the amount of nominations they get. 5. Try to avoid anything too offensive or ridiculous (OOC attacks, racism) if not for me, for the children. 6. Limit yourself to OWF/AP or their modern equivalents. No IRC, private forums, or Water Cooler stuff. The quotes can be as old or as new as you like. After 5 or 10 or whatever days, I'll tally the nominations and make the poll.
